Took my chihuahua there to get a haircut. I am very happy with how well they did. They were even able to trim his nails which I know was very hard with Paco. They made me feel really comfortable leaving him there. What really impressed me the most, was how much personal attention they gave to Paco. They even completed his haircut with a bow! 10/10 I will be back. Very reasonably priced to! They only charged me $50 for trim, nails, bath and glands!Google doesn’t let you review twice so I’m editing this one.ONCE AGAIN 10/10! I’m adding reliable to the review because twice now Lisa has done a fabulous job on Paco. He looks like he’s ready for church! I just can’t get over how cute the haircuts are. I know 100% she takes good care of the animals because Paco was super calm when I came to pick him up and he’s not usually like that. Lisa does such a good job I will forever come back!! Thank you Lisa for being a dog groomer I can trust! 🐶🐕 🐩🐕‍ Addition for 2023, always does such a great job and this year he came out soooo stinking cute. Will never understand the bad reviews on here. Maybe it's a dog owner issue 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had Miniature Schnauzers since I was 15 yrs old. As an adult with my own Schnauzers, I had the same groomer for 17 years while living in Phoenix. Our Woody (the Schnauzer) is not an easy dog to groom. We rescued him and he was so was so nervous and scared of everything. With a lot of patience and adopting Rocket from the pound for companionship, He has come leaps and bounds in the past 3 years! However, going to the groomer was still terrifying for him. My husband and I moved to Mancos Co from Phoenix this past July 2020 and you could say, the thought of having to find a new groomer for Woody was a daunting and terrifying task. Honestly, I was so scared of a groomer being mean and getting frustrated with him. I had heard about Snootys from a stranger at the Farmers Market in Dolores, Co. I took a leap of faith and took them in. I had told them My concerns about woody prior to coming in. Jayne took him from my arms (which is a huge thing) and just held him. He was shaking at first but settled down shortly. Her energy with dogs is amazing! They took their time with him moving slowly with the clippers and didn’t rush him. As for Rocket, I was nervous a groomer would cut the hair off his ears. (It’s happened) They take forever to grow and I think they are so adorable. They genuinely listened to all my requests and concerns with both dogs. when I picked them up, I was ELATED!!! Woody was really calm and they did the BEST Schnauzer cut I’ve ever had on any of my Schnauzers in the past. Rockets cut was also fantastic and they didn’t cut his ear tufts off! They blended in with his fantastic haircut. I could not recommend Snootys enough. I’m so grateful to have found them and they now have 2 new customers for the rest of their lives which hopefully is a really long time!

My pup went in for bath, brush, and nails. I got her back 5 HOURS later, shedding like crazy, hair going everywhere. When I got there she was yelping from some "room of terror" As the owner put it. When she came walking out, my pretty girl was limping and terrified. Never will I ever take my dog here. Nails were clipped fine.

Scheduled my pet for an appointment asked about the price was told price would be $65. I payed $60 last year and was told that April 1st there was a price increase. When I dropped my pet off at her 9:30 appointment, I asked when my pet would be ready I was told at 1:30 or 2ish. I asked if she could make it 1:30 as I was leaving out of town. She stated she could rush I told her I didn't want her to rush as I didn't want a bad job I just needed her to be done by 1:30 if possible. I was informed of no price increase whatsoever because I requested my dog to be done at 1:30. When I picked her up they charged me $70 and I told them that I had already called and was given a price of $65 as pre discussed. She stated they were charging me five extra because they had to rush on my dog. I told her that that wasn't right as I was informed of no price increase whatsoever. I stood there and waited 15 to 20 minutes while she had a conversation with her boss. I was then informed that she normally charges $20 for a rush but she was only charging me five extra because I wasn't informed. I explained to her that I shouldn't be charged anything extra as I was not told anything and I specifically asked the price ahead of time. I was still charged the $70, the lady was very unprofessional and rude. I called back to inform them that I would no longer be a customer at Snooty pet salon and that I would be putting a review on Google the lady hung up on me after I got the first sentence out. I did not yell or lose my cool. I was firm that it's dishonest to just charge people whatever you want and not tell them ahead of time and yet I was still charged the $70 and I was hung up on. They will not be getting my business ever again!

I got to Snooty' s about 5 minutes before their posted closing time in the hopes I could get a nail trimming appointment for my little dog. Much to my surprise the owner offered to just trim her nails in the spot even though she was already done for the day. I appreciate her sacrificing her time to squeeze us in like that and that her price was extremely fair. I'll definitely be a return customer and even saw some cute doggie dresses I want to purchase.

My mom. Bonnie Godfrey has been taking her dog biggie for 9 years now. Hes very tempemental and a snapper Jayne takes such good care of him I now have been taking my dog Skooter as well. Only place I trust to clip those tiny delicate nails

My dogs can be a handful and I don’t get them washes near as often as I probably should, but Jane and her staff take excellent care of my buddies. They come back all happy and clean. My wife and I wouldn’t take our furry kids anywhere else.

I had my Akita (very furry) groomed and it was a huge job because he was stinky!. They did a really good job! He had a bath, blow out, and nail trim and foot furs trimmed. He was clean and did not smell overwhelmingly of soap. The price was just a bit more than I normally pay in Texas, but I'm not sure if that's just a location thing.

If I could rate it less I would. Today, was our second visit to Snooty's. We had a 1pm appointment for one dog to get a haircut and one dog a bath (2 dogs total).Our first issue is they don't call to confirm the appointment. The last time we made an appointment, we showed up and they didn't even have us booked. Lesson learned .... We called before we left this morning & verified the dogs were scheduled for today.We live & work in a rural town in Utah, about 2hrs away from Cortez so needless to say our choices for everything (groceries, haircuts etc...) is not just limited to finding professional pet services.Since we have to plan our trips to Cortez, especially if we have to take the dogs for grooming or vet care, we try to schedule multiple errands in one trip.Today, as stated above, we had our 2 dogs scheduled for grooming @ 1pm and then our puppy scheduled for shots @ 2pm. We figured it would take 2-3 hours for the grooming so we figured we would be able to pick them up around 4pm & head home. We get there and we are told they were going to take 4 hours! So, we dropped them off at 12:45pm for their 1pm appointment & couldn't pick them up until 5pm!! Our dogs are not a breeds that require special grooming techniques. One is a 50lb terrier mix that gets a bath, nail trim & "buzz cut" and one is a 25lb Chihuahua/Beagle mix that gets a bath & nail trim.This is obviously a busy pet grooming shop. All the groomers we have ever been too have always told us when we make our appointment "plan to have them here for about two and a half hours" & they called to confirm our appointment.I hear small businesses always complain about the big corporate world taking jobs, but this owner FAILED US. Be up front and let us know. I WANT YOU TO GET MY BUSINESS. Let me know if stuff is crazy that day for you ie: the dogs will be here for about 4hrs. I would have understood. But no. Not even a simple apology or explanation. AND THEN, THE DOGS WEREN'T EVEN READY AT THE QUOTED TIME. So, we waited another 1/2 hour!My wife went above and beyond to ensure her (sometimes 😬) difficult to tolerate husband could enjoy his day off driving her and the animals around for 4+ hours. Unfortunately we both ended up feeling like our business wasn't appreciated by this salon. And the dogs? Obviously didn't have water or a bathroom break the whole afternoon!Now let me just say, that I have called to reschedule a couple times & cancelled an appointment approx. 36hrs before (car issues) & Snooty's was accommodating & understanding & our dogs were groomed nicely both times.However, after today, we will not be bringing our dogs again for grooming. Their care less attitude for their (human) clients & obvious overbooking are not things we will tolerate when paying for services.
