I have been frequenting this building supply for the past four decades. Choice supplied the materials for two houses we built and a large carport/storage building.Now, I'm working on a renovation of my daughter's house, and I'm back at Choice nearly every day. Still the same kind of courteous service. I enjoy going in there and seeing friendly faces. Free popcorn too.I'd give Choice five stars if they had followed the Covid guidelines more closely, but they did a better job than their competition, which deliberately flaunted them. I'll be stopping in today for some sandpaper and drywall compound.

Choice is one of the two old hardware stores in town, but unlike the other one, this one appears to be better standing the test of generational time, with good, friendly service, a not-bad selection for it’s size, and, of course, the free popcorn doesn’t hurt. There are very few times a person can come in not hearing the good ol’ friendly home-town banter. The only minor difficulty is the highway it is on. You blink and you will miss your turn going northbound. That’s not their fault. They just work there.

Great experience here! I would recommend this business to anyone! I was greeted when I entered, and then as soon as I asked for help, someone helped me find the right employee with the expert advice I needed, then walked me around to find all the items I needed for my repair. All employees I encountered were friendly and helpful.

Saturday 6/17/23 at 12:30 my husband and Grandson went to get a fishing license and the cashier were very rude and didn't want to sell them a fishing license they ended up going to Mancos to get the license.

This place is awesome! I had some pellets delivered the other day (I get them delivered from here every year) and they dropped it off in the afternoon when I wasn't home per my request. They did an excellent job locating the pallet in a thoughtful manner that saved me a lot of time offloading. You can tell that they just went above and beyond! That's the kind of service you get from a small town hardware store!

Excellent and easy to find! Large parking lot if you're towing.Fun little store with more than what you need. They carry a little bit of everything, so if you have needs...they probably have it.Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! Stop in on your way through.

Usually I get good service here, and most of the employees are nice, today I had one tell me to leave the store because it was close to closing time. instead of assisting me to finish up what I needed. I obliged to employee and left without finishing my purchase. Very rude employee and perhaps they should try customer service rather than running customers off.

Choice has a very good supply of everything you need for your home projects. I like buying local. Even if you pay a little more sometimes, I take into consideration my time and wear and tear on my car going to Farmington or Durango.

It sure isn't like home depot.I received help within 5 minutes. Got a quote on roof panels in 5 minutes. I was out of the store in 15 minutes.
