Kari in the floral department is a gem. Excellent customer service. She is so knowledgeable and kind. I’ve always had nothing but positive experience with the store in general as well. Kari was certainly a stand out but every staff I’ve interacted with has been lovely.

I'm driving from Florida to Colorado for vacation. I needed some blood pressure medicine and had a script. The Pharmacist Timothy told me he could have it ready in 20 minutes and 20 minutes later I was out the door with my meds. Thanks Timothy!! Nice store

This is the worst, THE WORST grocery store I have been to in years. I go in at 5:30 and the deli is closed because the manager didn't have enough people working. They wouldn't serve me macaroni salad that was out and probably going to be thrown away because the person behind the register was too worried about cleaning.Another night, I can't get a Starbucks that I wanted because well they didn't know where anybody was to serve it. They weren't closed because there was stuff all around, and I got tired of waiting after the 20 minutes I left.They are always, ALWAYS OUT OF GOODS. It's very frustrating.There is rumor that Kroger is going to buy out Safeway. They're going to close about 400 stores. This should be one of them. And before they close it, they need to fire the manager now.Don't shop here unless you handle frustration well.

Your average, clean Safeway with clearly marked aisles. Selection could be better for things like soup but all-in-all it's a great grocery store.The pharmacy staff ROCK which makes up for them only having daytime hours.

The bakery department is wonderful! I get all of our family birthday cakes from them. Ti is helpful with ordering. Rachel, the cake decorator, is so, so talented! Bravo on our latest cake. I highly recommend using them for cakes. Beautiful & affordable. Ladies, thank you for making our family celebrations a little sweeter!

Great store with very helpful staff. The flower and produce persons are always willing to advice and when I asked other staff for a particular item (Marmite) they went out of their way to help. Checkout staff are also great. Thanks to all.

Average stock and supply from what you would expect from a Safeway. Good Location right off 115, and they are going through a refresh of the store. Great staff though, and we were able to find everything we needed, not many people were here either. Maybe just the time of day or just something else?

This story was recently remodeled to the newer shiny concrete industrial type place. Much nicer. The staff is friendly helpful and have been here a long time

The “3” rating is mostly for friendly staff; everything else deserves a 2 at best. Prices with the exception of sale items are higher than the neighboring market, Kroger. The rotisserie chicken has little to NO taste as does a few of their hot deli items but their wings are usually good. Produce is fine. The fresh meats are definitely a hit or miss and never do I feel comfortable purchasing seafood at this location. I just picked up a pack of filet mignon because Kroger was out. As per the photos, the filets had an excessive amount of untrimmed fat which of course they shamelessly hid, exposing only the trim side (1st photo) to deceive customers. Shame on you, Safeway.

Safeway is a convenient grocery store option, but the experience can be quite hit or miss. While the bakery section is a standout and consistently excellent, I've noticed some significant downsides during my visits.First, the store doesn't always have a reliable stock of items, which can be frustrating when you're trying to do your regular shopping. Additionally, parking can be a bit tricky, and the store is often quite busy, leading to long lines at the checkout. These factors can make a simple grocery run a more time-consuming process than it needs to be.On the upside, the produce section is decent, and the quality is usually acceptable. Despite the downsides, if you're just popping in for some delicious baked goods or a few specific items, Safeway can be a good choice.

Have never had such a bad at Safeway on Monday night at 8:30 pm brought item to self check out that had a digital coupon, the man working there was watching TV on 3 different phones, was so rude and annoyed that I dare ask for assistance and and did not provide any , will not return to that store

The staff is friendly but unable to assist customers. There are digital coupons that not all customers are able to access. Some cashier's know how to override this and some don't. I paid $6.99 for ice cream today that should have been $2.97 with a digital coupon. This happens often and has reduced my shopping at Safeway stores. Please correct this discriminatory practice. Not everyone is able to afford a phone that supports all the apps.

I Do my shopping on Sundays and every Sunday there isn't any meat in the meat department! Y'all had two paper thin steaks back there this weekend,good job. This Sunday was the final straw. I really hate shopping Walmart but I guess I'm going to have to start.

Came to the deli at 6:15 pm to find some dinner. Deli was closed for 15 mins which was 25 mins it turned out. Why should that be for folks trying to get supper after work? That's a time when service is needed.

To start Safeway is my go to grocery store it’s right next to Carson and has a better selection than any other grocery store around. Now I was disappointed today. The Deli section is closed at 6PM unfortunately I didn’t see a sign that said so so I waited for a few minutes figuring someone would show up, no one did. I asked the lady at the register for some assistance and she gladly requested help for me over the loud speaker. I waited again and finally an employee shows up, says he’s closed and is waiting for his time to clock out. Now I wouldn’t have cared if he hadn’t told me that there was plenty of prepped deli meat on the shelf. I looked at the shelf that is usually always filled but it was empty had a couple of packets of turkey but prepped 2 days ago. It made me upset because I wouldn’t have needed help if the deli counter was pre filled. Long story short I guess I held Safeway to higher standard and thought they’d at least prep the deli meats since that section of the store closes earlier.

This store is fine as long as you don’t need to ask the employees anything, use the restroom, shop during peak times, or check out with a lot of items. They have a 20 item limit for the self checkout and still only have one register open… even when it’s really busy. It took 20 minutes and talking to three different employees for me to use the restroom. Guest services refused to open the restrooms and sent me to find another employee. There is also a mess by the v8 cans that has been there for at least two weeks now, unless there is a new van leaking every time I go there. I’m really disappointed since this used to be my favorite location to shop at.

This is a terrific, clean, friendly neighborhood market. It’s always a good sign when there isn’t a security guard out front watching like other markets around town. Tonight the baggers and checkout guy really made my day with their witty humor and banter as I got my trash bags and wine😂😂 love it

I usually don’t shop here because I go to commissary on base. But I do shop here for emergencies. One time I went to pick up few things and couldn’t find the item, the bagger (his name is Cody) ran back to find the item for me. I appreciate Cody for going above and beyond to meet the needs of customers.

The cashier named Tammy is very rude. I wish I could've given 0 star. I don't understand why the store still keeps her as an employee. She never greets customers, always has this sacastic attitude. I am never going back.

Just got home to realize the Valentines flower bouquet I just bought were in fact FAKE FLOWERS. What a disappointment. 9.00 for a couple limbs of baby's breath (real) surrounding a big colorful flower (fake). What a joke.

This store is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The meat in the butcher case is beautiful and reasonably priced (by 2021 prices).Would have given five stars but someone didn't put enough thought into parking lot design. Can be difficult to maneuver a larger vehicle when they are busy.Still, a great store and I recommend.

The pharmacy is terrible. Unresponsive, long lines. My prescription took a week to get, and no one cared. I don't blame the grocery for charging for bags, as it's the law now, but when I bag my own groceries while two other employees are standing right there, they should pay for the bags.

I don't know whats been going on with the fruit at safeway lately but I bought strawberries they looked fine until I got home with my groceries and went to wash them and found mold one the strawberries in the middle of the batch. Then the next day I went to cut an apple I bought a bag from there as well and there was mold on the core. Im really upset all the fruit I just bought for my daughter I have to throw away!! Such a waste of money, I will be shopping else where for fruit from now on.

I got only 6 pieces for a 8 piece fried-chicken meal. This has happened 2 times already this year. I called the customer service and was requested to come back to Safeway with the receipt. No sorry, no nothing. I'm not driving 20min round trip just to get the 2 pieces back. What a very disappointing experience, once again.

They have great produce and the maple sausage links, and BING apple and cherry "vitamin" juice I love! Easy access on my way home, thank you!
