Really enjoyed shopping here. It’s like Tractor Supply only they have a lot better selection of clothes for men and women. My brother picked up a few western shirts that were really nice. They had an amazing display of yeti cups.

Would give 0 stars if I could....my parents gave my boyfriend a gift card for $100 for his birthday, and so he went in the next day to do some shopping. While he was there, the manager called the cops on him for "looking suspicious"...literally that was it. He hadn't done ANYTHING to warrant suspicion. Everything he touched either was put right back on the shelf, or was in his cart to purchase later. They even knew he had a gift card because when he first came in the store he was thirsty and paid for a soda with the card. After the whole ordeal of the manager confronting him with CSPD, there was no apology whatsoever. Do not shop here, you could have the cops called on you just based on the way you look.

This is the hardware store to go to in monument. They have everything you need and not a million people to fight with. The staff is great and super nice. They keep the place clean and stocked

I cannot say enough fantastic things about this store! Shawn and David spent over an hour with my husband and I helping us figure out which chain saw and trimmer would be best suited for our needs. These guys have STELLAR service, and are incredibly kind and helpful. Big Rs in Monument is officially our new go-to place for all our home needsThank you guys and really appreciate you!

I have been using Monument Big R to purchase wood stove pellets for years, because of their help and their dry storage. Yesterday I went to this store to purchase wood pellets for the first time this season and found they had move the pellets to a noncovered storage area out front of the store and the pellets were in awful shape. Of the five or six pallets stacked with pellets most were unusable. In fact it took your employee assisting me quite some time to find six usable bags. The rest are full of sawdust as they have been exposed to too much moisture. If Monument Big R cannot return the storage of their wood pellets to a dry area I will be forced to purchase them elsewhere.

The staff here is very attentive and knowledgeable. My wife and I came in looking to purchase a new weapon for her and the attendant at the weapons counter enthusiastically explained the pros and cons of several different firearms. It was a great experience and we are happy with our purchase. 10/10!

Good for livestock and pet foods and bedding. NO English tack/equipment for English riders. Low shoe/boot inventory and style choices. Great for farm/ranch equipment and supplies

Purchased a really nice 10 hen coop from Big R yesterday. I researched coops for two months and this was the sturdiest and by far the best bargain of all I looked at from other suppliers including Walmart, Tractor Supply and Amazon. Incredible layout for my hens! Had a minor issue when putting coop together and I was so heartened that they cared about problem as minor as it was, they rectified issue within an hour, haven’t received customer care like this in years. Would give them 6 stars if I could!

Nice selection of items, great staff that really goes out of the way to help you. Sporting goods tend to be a bit overpriced, but that is not their focus. Lots of fun seasonal items that keeps you coming back. This is a regular stop for us just on dog food and propane tank refills alone. Very glad they are here and I prefer them over the new tractor supply.

Went to buy a pair of shoes 30 minutes before closing. 20 till 8 Donna in the clothing department stood at the end of the shoe isle and stared at us for a good 5-10 minutes until we selected our shoes. Then she followed us back to the registers. I understand wanting to close and make sure your customers are out before closing time. But don’t passive aggressively stare at us to the point of feeling uncomfortable shopping there.My friend asked her why she was following us and she replies “I was going this way” in a HATEFUL voice and said “this is MY area”I came back after purchasing my shoes and asked for her name. From there we were stared at from the door by all of the employees. Just standing at the window of the doors. Staring.Bad customer service. I’m going to return my items tomorrow and shop somewhere else.

I had what I felt was a unique problem with a higher priced clothing item, and although I felt the store had little or no responsibility for the problem, Manager Chris listened to my problem, then offered to resolve it. Very few businesses treat Customers like the way I was treated, and Big R has a Customer for life. Chris, or other higher levels of managers......know this, I will be one of your store’s biggest and positive advertisers. Thank you!

One thing I like about this store is the ease of loading when you have big orders. They make it really easy to load up- they do it for you lol!

Much better than the store on East Constitution. The store in Monument had what I wanted and the people were really great. The store on East Constitution told me that they didn't stock irregular wrangler jeans, and that the other Big R were not stocking them either. I called the Big R in Monument they said we have them come on up. I did and got the Jean's I wanted. I will not go back too the Big R on East Constitution. I do recommend the Big R in Monument.

The staff at Big R gets *10 stars* for diligence and integrity. They found an heirloom scrapbook of mine that someone had dumped in their trash. Not only did they retrieve it, but they located me to pick it up. Best service I ever had from any business, and I had yet to even shop there! I sure will now.

Just wanted to say thank you to store manager John and Mike for making my experience perfect. I thought I was going to have a fight on my hands with the problem that happened. John listen to my complaint and when I was done venting he said he was sorry and he would take care of us. Two weeks later we made it back in and John did just that. Thank you so much. Really good store for those of us in Ag. They always have what I need for my cattle and can do special orders, even if it's Vitalix by the ton or fence posts by the truckload. The check-out staff are knowledgeable and friendly too.

I'm always impressed. Every time I go to this store they're able to sell me specialized products and back it up with knowledge of those products. Really excited we have a big R in our town!

Went to Big R today. Walked in to see both cashiers maskless during a state-wide mandate. If big R doesn't respect the safety of their customers, they at least not actively flaunt breaking the law!! I turned around & walked out. They will not be getting my business while they insist on being part of the problem.

So far, the Monument Big R is my favorite location. Especially for buying clothing.... particularly jeans. Both of my sons are very odd sizes and Big R is the only place I've found that carries the odd sizes. Monument Big R has the best and biggest selection of jeans. Nice store layout, clean and attractive. Customer service is exemplary.

Updated: Called back and found the gentleman we talked to originally. John told us to turn around and he would help load it. 5 stars for John. 3 star review is for the hassle.*Called and asked if they had an item in stock. They said "Yes, I'm looking right at it" Drove all the way from the South Side of the Springs to be told they've been out for a week. Nobody over their radios would admit to speaking to us. I even confirmed the phone number I called with them.

I am an aging hipster who never listened to my dad when he was repairing things. Now he's gone and I am helpless out in the yard.But I have a secret weapon--the helpful staff at Big R. The sold me the right chainsaw, and then fixed it and sharpened it and showed me how to start it--a few times. They have worked on my tractor, and they are always helpful and kind. So much like the spirit of Colorado.I just need them to take all that candy out of the check-out lines.....it's too good.!

One of my favorite stores to go too. Being raised on a farm I love just browsing around.But I do go here for gates, fencing, tractor accessories, greases, etc.I only give them 4 starts because I never find EE boots that fit me in the boot department. I usually have to go to the flacon store....

I needed bucket heaters on Sunday. There were plenty in stock. I also got some buckets and electric wire shrink wrap. The staff was helpful and the restroom was clean.

The big r store in monument has a great supply of everything you need. I think the customer service at this location is by far better than some of the newer stores. You get that home town feel but close to the springs.

Went to get a hitch adapter, disappointing to find out they are charging double the price of Walmart, Amazon or a u haul store. Pretty lousy customer service as well.
