The staff are really friendly and helpful no complaints there, the prices are however way to high and thier produce is not always the freshest otherwise it is a good grocery store I would've given it a 5 but prices are just way to high

It’s awesome having a REAL grocery store that services this part of Colorado. Fresh produce, great selection, fabulous deli and baked goods. It’s easy to find values. It’s rare for entrepreneurs to want to get in to groceries anymore. Cindy and Scott have succeeded in bringing this to Colorado City. We’re lucky to have it. Thanks Guys! Nice Work

First time customer. Stopped here for a lunch break after visiting town for a business appointment. A friendly young lady in the deli made me a fresh customized sandwich. I bought a soft drink, chips and some snacks for my trip back to Colorado Springs. A friendly checkout clerk opened another register for me to save waiting time and made pleasant conversation. Good first impression.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Been going downhill for years and only going down faster now. Staff overturn is huge and each new hire brings even worse work ethic and attitude with them. Produce always horrible, shelves barely stocked, and any decent person working there leaves quickly afterwards. Horrible customer service that do not know how to address or even try to fix issues customers or employees have. Caring seemed to go out the window long ago. Rude employees with deplorable behavior towards customers all the while thinking they are the coolest kids around because they gave a customer attitude. Wish they could find reliable help and actually get them to stay. More of a neuscie than a convenience, if there was another grocery store in town I would never step foot in this establishment again.

The employees need to learn customer service. Item wouldn’t scan in so a young gentleman ran to check it and came back and told the price to the cashier. It seemed high so I went back and looked and the price was actually 50 cents lower. As I had already paid they then had to call someone over to figure out how to give me the difference. After waiting a little they took me over to customer service and got on the phone to call someone to ask how to fix it. They ended up just opening the drawer and giving me the money. Never apologized for the mix up or the wait/inconvenience. Literally handed me the money and said nothing. Not even have a nice day.I also noticed an item in produce that had been expired for seven days and they were more on the shelf. Gross. Prices are crazy high on a lot of items.I’ll make sure I don’t forget anything next time I go to Walmart so I don’t have to come back here.

I like Valley Market. I have lived in Colorado City for 1 1/2 years. Shopping there is nice. They have everything that a good store needs. Their meat and produce departments are very good. They also have the finest bakery/deli around. And the staff is very friendly and courteous

Prices are a little higher, but its nice to not have to drive to walmart to make groceries.Staff is always helpful and friendly.Cashier's never seem to waste time during checkout.

A very down home feel. They carry a bit of most things and have both a deli/bakery and meat dept. Most name brands are a bit more than regular retail but heh, were 30 miles from any big box stores so it balances out. The pharmacy is attached next door and theres ample parking both disabled and regular, they even have gas. Overall a great one stop shop for most things, Ride safe Kg

I use this store almost every week. The meat dept is excellent, especially in light of it being a small, country store. The staff are all friendly, and I have actually gotten to know a few of them.Being greeted by name counts for a lot with me.

This is a quaint little store with a decent selection. Their brand name goods are a bit on the expensive side. However, the store makes up for it with it's affordable pricing on meat and produce. Additionally, they have frequent sales on some their goods that take the original expense price and make into something far more affordable; sometimes even beating Walmart on its own pricing. If you visit frequently and pay attention to the sales you can find great deals in this store making it a must see if you frequent the Rye and Colorado City area. The pricing may be a bit high but the frequent sales make the store an excellent place to visit if you are in the area.

I love this full service store!! The convenience of not having to drive to a "big city" is more than worth it, the staff are all friendly with a smile!! Just about everything you would need for breakfast, dinner, bbq, whatever, it is available right here at "Valley Market"!! They even have fuel pumps for your thirsty vehicle.A full service bakery/deli hits right at home with me....I love sweets! Apple fritters are the bomb!! Fried chicken plus sides; pizza to go! Wow!!Located in Colorado City, CO just off Hwy 165 on Bent Brothers Blvd.

We recently moved into the Colorado City area and love this little store. Great meat prices and they have great sales. Super deli for Fried chicken and Pizza. Bakery is great for sweets and breads.

Always nice to have a store closer than Pueblo or Walsenburg. Can be kind of pricy, as many smaller town stores are, and produce is almost never very good. Great selection of meat. Most staff is friendly.

Although I've never been inside this fine establishment I must say that the parking lot is an excellent place to pump gas and have long and serious chats with your fiance.Every time I have had a 'discussion' here I have proven my point and we end up agreeing. Must be the heavy smell of gasoline that messes with both our heads.Bravo on keeping your pumps running strong Valley Market!

Milk does not last until date. Tortillas are very old. Meat is terrible. Produce never has been any good. I stopped shopping there unless I absolutely have to. I hate to say it because it was so good and a nice store.

Stopped here on the way to an airbnb in rye. Girlfriend and I picked out some dinner and breakfast stuff. Staff was country living friendly folks. Selection is large but if youre picky you may not find exact brands but they've got other options and local options which i always prefer as its a part of the town youre experiencing. Will go back if I ever visit again.

Cheaper than anywhere else for a lot of stuff. Good sales. Impressive for a locally owned business. If I lived in the area I'd shop here all the time.Seriously though I got bacon here for 2 lbs. for $3 and it's hella good, thick cut bacon.

Sure Fine outlet. Meat is usually frozen.Produce is limp, rotting and still full price. Owner has arrogant and rude attitude and disposition. Bakery is baking frozen items...they make NOTHING from scratch. I'd rather drive 40 minutes to Pueblo or 30 minutes to Walsenburg than give my money at this store. Only shop here when I absolutely have no other choice!

They have pretty decent meat deals, they buy local, and I've never had a steak there that wasn't terrific. Rest of prices are ridiculous!
