This is a very nice motel and a comfortable place to stay good location. The safety of this place feels pretty safe and there are a few stores close by.The customer service here is friendly and accommodating, and I will return here again in my future work endeavors !

Thr owner takes a lot of pride in his small, super cute motel. He's kept this old place in top top shape. Its almost like going back in time. The simplicity was refreshing. The ac units look pristine and new, the fridges were very clean and new. The rooms are so well kept. Almost mee looking. Very clean walls and carpet. Beds were so nice and warm. I will be back for sure. Its not a luxurious five star hotel with breakfast but the simplicity and classic feel was so refreshing. There's also a cute little grocery store next door, a Mexican restaurant, and a gas station. Everything you need I'm one little area.

Rooms are SO clean. We were looking for a safe/clean/affordable place to stay on a cross country trip, and this was perfect. It's older, but it's still cleaner than newer hotels, and we didn't have to pay for a pool or a gym that we won't use. Location is good if you're just looking for a nights sleep, but in the other sense there's not much else to do in Byers.

We just needed a clean, quiet place for the night, and we got it. It is right next to the interstate so there is constant highway noise, but it is like white noise in the background. The room is spacious and clean. It has a small refrigerator but no microwave. The shower had very hot water with a lot of pressure. Sure, it is outdated and could use some minor repairs, but it is clean and comfortable. Also, other than the key not fitting well, checking in very late went very smoothly.

If you can drive for 25 more minutes you’ll find wonderful accommodations and plenty of food options.It's 3:38 in the morning, and I can't sleep because of how disturbing this place is. This is the filthiest, smelliest, most inhospitable place I have ever seen. This was an absolute last resort and I would have rather sleep in my car. The rooms are not "very clean" as what I'm sure the false reviews are stating. I too suspect bed bugs. I may still sleep in my car and forfeit the 65 dollars this Nast place required. Sown times it's better not to have a place to lay your head. Like this one. I won't even wash my face or rush my teeth out of disgust, and I've never missed a night.

Checked in to the room. The worn out bed was jacked up on the feet end with a partial piece of old steel frame. I noticed a lump in the bed so I pulled back the covers and underneath the fitted sheet was a wet hand towel 😖. That pretty much freaked me out as I reached under and grabbed it before I knew what it was. I'm not a person who is very gunshy on anything but the whole mystery wet towel ,1940s room and old worn out everything got to me in a hurry and I beat feet to the front desk for a refund.The owner operator promptly refunded my money. Thankfully. I would avoid this place and sleep on a bed of scorpions before I went back there.

We moved out here and thought we could live in our camper. So far 5 weeks. Best service.Wonderful garden.Coffee 6:30am til 10:30.Microwave to use but please clean after use.Family run.My 4 yo loves the owner.(Update. We have decided to stay for the past 5 months since we kept having issues with our camper.)My now 5 yo has a routine with the owner. We love it here. Even after we move into our home we will be making daily visits to see Yun the owner who is now family after this experience. We couldn't be more greatful for this motel.)PsThe motel doesn't allow pets.If you have one please declare it at the beginning of your stay. There are cameras that cover each parking lot and the rooms. He will know. 25.00 fee. Not bad at all.I am a guilty dog owner. Who did try to sneak my 60 pound lab terrier mix in and out. Caught. Just declare and pay upfront.Thank youNow that we have been in our new home for a year. We stayed for 9 months in this motel and would do it again. We now rent a room for us when we need some alone time.Yun is wonderful. Young is amazing.Bring seeds for the garden if you can. I adore their garden.

I had been driving for days checked in around 9 pm. I read the hours for check out which stated the normal 11 am. I set my phone alarm to 10:45 am and went to sleep. My room phone rang at 10 am and a voice on the other end told me Check out was 11 please. I own Hope Springs RV park in Texas myself, never have I disturbed someone to tell them check-out please unless it was 2 hours after. How rude is my feeling. 😠

Wonderful place! The manager here is absolutely superb—he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay! Very clean, nice rooms and incredible service!From my dad: “My work requires that I travel a lot and I have stayed in thousands of hotels across the country. I had probably my best experience ever at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was exhausted, and the owner walked to show me my room and parking spot, opened the room and showed me the light switches, wished me a good night and in the morning asked how everything was. Perfect motel! Retro style, soft beds, strong WiFi, and located right off the highway not too far from Denver. The hotel owner was definitely the highlight of the stay and made the whole experience. He was super friendly and personable and truly seemed to care about our stay. This hotel is pet friendly and very clean. There are a few smoking rooms and a cute little garden. Highly recommend.

The owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly. I showed up late at night and had no problems getting a room. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a comfortable place to stay. There's also a gas station across the street not sure if it's open 24/7 or not.

My husband and I were in need of a place to spend the night on our way back east. With no camping spots in miles, we found the Budget Host Longhorn Hotel. Our room was spacious, VERY clean, and welcomingly warm on a cold night in October. The host was excellent...very friendly, kind, and considerate! The interior is not updated, but is has been well taken care of and again it was extremely clean! That gets huge bonus star!

Well, definitely easy access and parking...but for the price I'd suggest driving the few miles back to town. For the price one would think that the heater in the room might work but it didn't for me nor my coworkers room. Don't look for a microwave, there's only one in the office. The beds, well let's say they're very well slept in, on a good note, the hot water works great for a morning shave.

Really nice place right outside of denver! We got stuck with a flat tire in this town and this motel exceeded our expectations. Definitely above and beyond what we needed after a rough night. Best motel I've stayed in and nicer beds than any overnight stay I've had elsewhere.

The outside when you first pull into the parking lot looks a lil scary but, when I say it was super cozy and the beds rocked.. I mean it.. it's has a cottage/cabin feeling. No loud noise and couldn't hardly hear anything outside or from the rooms that are beside or behind. I will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in the area again.

NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER!! To start, Yun, the owner was very sweet and helpful. He showed us to our room and made a point to let us know he had put in a brand new a/c (which was needed for how hot it was) I had asked if we could get a ground floor room because my wife had a broken leg and he was so apologetic because he was sold out. It's a bit run down in appearance but the rooms are welcoming, clean, and comfy. I truly enjoyed my stay and would come back again when I'm headed to this area.

Had I not made reservations based off of reviews, I probably would have passed this motel by. Just your run of the mill, old time, mom and pops motel. Nothing special to look at. However, the owner was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and there was little noise from the highway. The only complaints I had were that there were only about 18 television channels and every time someone flushed the toilet on the floor above us, it sounded like someone was running water in our room.All in all, it was a nice stay.

Its dated but nonetheless nice. I was in the process if moving to Texas and was passing through when my transmission went out. Single mom with a 5 month old. Really small town, and this is the only motel I believe. Luckily the town people here are so nice, got a free tow and called me in a room. The owner is so sweet. Even cut me a deal because I was already having a bad day. The room was clean, the ac, tv, and shower all worked like normal. The only complaint I really have is that it took a while for my room to cool off, and the outlets dont work if you turn the light off. Would definitely stay again if I needed to.

Clean, comfortable room. Great customer service - manager went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Outside of hotel is very dated, and there are no extra amenities. This motel is perfect when traveling and just need a place to sleep.

Substance over style. It's older, simple, and missing some of the expected modern amenities like a microwave. But the rooms are comfortable, the water is hot, everything works, and the staff is sincerely helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Very outdated checked in the room we rented key wouldn't work so moved us to another room 2 twin beds 4th floor not what we paid for .50dollar deposit not sure what for.cant smoke in the room its a 250.00 fine yet the place reeked of Pot smoke . Both are legal but charged if u smoke cigarettes but not for weed!!! Really!!!! No grilling outside way to may rules for n creepy hotel. Homeless beggers everywhere. Scary!!!!!!!!
