Completely unprofessional and incompetent workmanship. We called to receive an estimate on replacing or sealing a side garage door and some repair work on the front door, including changing all of the hardware. We already purchased the hardware, which I showed him. Shane suggested he could "tune up" the garage door, which no other company said they could do and I went with him. His estimate was very vague and only said "repair door" and didn't include details we discussed such as sanding and repairing the hinge. He also never mentioned the doors were not cut right and would always have a gap, which is why we wanted to replace them from the beginning. His estimate didn't specify install all new hardware for the front door, only mentioning the locks, but I attributed that to his lack of detail. I even called before the job to let him know we needed the hinges changed as well and he said that wouldn't be a problem and never mentioned an additional cost. His repair to the garage door was shoddy, with a large gap still present and he didn't sand or put on a strike plate. On the front doors he installed new handles, which were not level with each other, and said he would have to come back for the barrel locks and hinges. At that point he mentioned charging an additional $150 for the hinges and when I told him I specified all hardware from day one, he said multiple times he would come back and do it for free. We gave him a check for $870 essentially for a piece of wood between door and uneven door handles, then I had to go to Home Depot to buy a strike plate and weather stripping. He scheduled an appointment the following week to come back to finish, cancelled within a few hours notice, then came a day later and said it would cost an additional $200. I highly recommend you use a different Handyman company and if you do use Shane, make sure your estimate is very detailed as he does not remember what he tells customers, is not professional enough to write a proper estimate, and will not complete the work he was hired to perform without trying to get additional money. We are going to have to hire someone else to come out and finish his job.

We had Handyman Connection come out to complete some drywall work and build us a custom front patio cover for our front porch. David did a phenomenal job at ensuring our needs were met and that the quality of the completed work was top notch. We are absolutely thrilled with the final outcome and plan to have them back to complete another porch cover over our back patio. We highly recommend this locally owned and operated business for all your home repair needs! Scheduling was super easy, the work area was left clean and tidy at the end of each day and we love that they warranty their work for 1 year!

We had a mess of a back door that needed to be replaced, reframed, and then some! Shane was excellent beginning with the estimate through completion of the project! He provided us with ideas of the best way to do the project in the most cost effective way. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and will be doing another door project with him soon. He’s extremely professional, knowledgeable and takes pride to get the job done perfectly no matter what curve balls are tossed his way!

Handyman Connection was top tier in response time, coordination and overall quality customer service and support. Cynthia was very responsive and helpful. Shane was waiting at my house when I arrived late and extremely professional! He was honest and gave great insight into how to fix my sinking subfloor. Shane mentioned he could fix it but was up front and told me financially I could “easily” do it myself with an explanation how. Any future household fixes/needs will be addressed to Handyman Connection

Shane has helped us with a few projects this year. He is so reliable and honest. We had a bathroom project, closet door, front glass screen door project and repair to some mortar which was coming off around our steps which Shane helped us with! His prices are fair but his integrity is what keeps us calling him back!

We had an old 2-valve shower system replaced with a modern single valve and there was quite a bit of tile damage to repair. For two weeks I tried to get someone to even talk to me about the tile work but people simply wouldn't return my calls. This changed when I contacted Handyman Connection. Shane came out the next day to give me an estimate and scheduled the repair for the following day when I accepted. The work was finished and looked great by the end of that day! Ethical! We had a small job (caulking shower). The caulk we got didn’t work out well. (Our bad). On his own, he came back and re-did it. Wouldn’t take a tip or anything. And, pet-friendly! We will totally use them again. Very happy with the communication, timeliness, and professionalism.
