I should have read reviews before I scheduled a vaccine appointment here. It's disgusting inside, dirty and cluttered, and the computer was down during the time of my visit so the elderly man in front of me who was trying to spend over $900!!! on medications had to sit and wait for at least fifteen minutes for the transaction to process. Then when they called me up, after a thirty minute wait, they quoted me a cost of the vaccine I was getting that was almost DOUBLE what the website says. NEVER GO HERE.

Everything about this Walgreens is miserable. Understaffed pharmacy and clearly poorly managed in general. Prepare to wait a long long time. Actually feel sorry for the pharmacist and workers - they are trying their best in a corporate cluster

This is a product review. The staff were as helpful as they could be, which is why I rated two stars.I purchased a pack of Walgreen's Severe Cold & Flu liquid caps and upon getting home and opening the package, it was clear that four of the sixteen daytime capsule pairs were leaking in their packaging. I've contacted Walgreen's corporate to demand a refund, which is the last thing I want to do while dealing with miserable symptoms.

Great place to fill prescriptions if you need to kill an hour and a half every time you pick up medicine. Lost prescriptions, insurance is always a chore, and their many, many notification texts are hilarious- one or more of your prescriptions are delayed, or ready. Gee thanks guys!

If I could give this pharmacy no stars I would. I've been trying to transfer a script from King Soopers to this location for a few days. First both told me conflicting information about the transfer saying the other one has to do it. Then Walgreens made me wait for an hour once they said they called and faxed the script to Kings. Then they said there's no sense in waiting after they told me to take a seat and wait. I called later that night and they told me King's phones are down when I literally just spoke to Kings THAT day. Then the pharmacist at Walgrens said he'll try again in the morning even though they claimed they faxed it and called them. THEY ARE LIARS. I really need this script and Walgreens NEEDS to fill it in time or else their will be problems for them. They SUCK!

Been trying to get a prescription for days from this place. The urgent care center has sent over the script 3 times, it says verified on their end, but there’s nothing at Walgreen’s. The doctor won’t even call because their reputation precedes them - they say they just wait on hold and no one ever picks up the phone. And the line is ALWAYS 20-40 minutes long.Walgreens bought the smaller pharmacies in the area and shut them down only to alienate customers and providers with terrible service. This messes with our ability to get access to things we need for our health. So rotten. No excuse. Just pure greed and negligence.

I made an appointment online for a high accuracy NAAT Covid test at 3:15 and showed up 5 minutes early. After waiting over 30 minutes they informed me that they didn't have that test and instead could give me a Covid and Flu antigen test. Other than testing for the flu (which I didn't care about) this was no different than the at home test I had already taken that morning. The whole experience took an hour and was a total waste of time and money, during which I was constantly misled about what I would get and when.

I strongly suggest never sending a prescription to this Walgreens location. Waiting for an hour and a half in line is absolutely unacceptable. I’ve witnessed so many other people finally get up to the front just to be told that they can’t find their prescription even though they were informed that it was ready. Staff is extremely incompetent and has no sense of urgency, some of them even have an attitude. I also accidentally sent a prescription there after experiencing all of this (completely a mistake on my part), and when it was still being “processed” for over a week, I called to see if they could transfer it to the one on 28th. I was on hold for over an hour and gave up. Thank GOD when I called 28th, they answered immediately and were able to transfer it from their side. All of this staff needs to be either retrained or fired. Not a single one of them is helpful or doing their job. I don’t think they realize that medication is crucial and timely. They cannot keep completely disregarding people’s medications.

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but I feel I must in this case as a public service announcement. My experience with this pharmacy has been very long lines and very long wait times on the phone. I had a prescription issue, called the pharmacy, waited on hold for 30 minutes, and the man on the other line said he would take care of the issue right away. Half hour later I find out it wasn't dealt with. So I called back, 30 minutes before their lunch break. No one answered the phone before the lunch break, so I am still waiting for the issue to be addressed. I recommend finding another pharmacy. This one seems very poorly managed; it's either short-staffed or the staff are inefficient, or both.

Do everything in your power to avoid this Walgreens. This is the first review I have ever posted on Google, which speaks to how horrible my experience at this Walgreens has been.This particular location consistently offers the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any store or facility of any type in my entire life. The line for the pharmacy, just to pick up medication that is ready for pick up, takes around an hour to get through regardless of the time of day. It literally makes no difference whether you get there at 9am, 9pm, or somewhere in between. They're frequently out of medication, too. So, quite often, I'll arrive at the pharmacy after receiving text confirmation that my prescription is ready for pick up, only to discover that they're out of my medication and don't know when it'll be back in stock.They are unconscionably understaffed, and the staff they have are unhelpful at best, hostile at worst. I've watched new staff turn from kind and patient to bitter and aggressive in just a few weeks because of the environment they have to work in. I have to verbally authorize my medication in order for the pharmacy to refill it, which requires waiting on the phone on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. And, as with the line, the long hold times happen regardless of the time of day. On several occasions, I've waited on hold for over an hour, only to have someone pick up the phone and immediately hang up before I've even had a chance to say "Hello." That has happened more than once.I just got back from my vaccination "appointment," which entailed waiting in line for nearly an hour, only to discover that none of the staff on duty were authorized to give vaccinations. I was told that I could wait another 40 minutes and someone MIGHT be able to give me a vaccination. There were two other people (that I know of) who had also waited in line only to discover that none of the available staff could administer vaccines. What was the purpose of even making an appointment? This type of occurrence is standard operating procedure at this Walgreens though, so at least I wasn't surprised by it.Sadly, this Walgreen is one of only a few pharmacies in Boulder, so I personally feel powerless. Because there's no competition, they have no incentive to do better, so they don't. If you have any other option besides this particular Walgreens, DO NOT GO HERE. I truly cannot stress that enough. I would give them 0 stars if I could, but Google requires at least 1 star in order to post this review.

Absolutely the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Never left a review on google before but this one calls for it. The pharmacists are completely clueless and couldn’t care less about their jobs. Arguing with customers left and right and not resolving any problems whatsoever. I have had a prescription “ready” for almost 3 entire weeks now, have been 6 separate times to pick it up and each time they give me a random excuse on why I need to come back later. I recommend absolutely no one shop here for any reason. They have given all of Walgreens a bad reputation in my eyes.

It’s pretty bad. It’s an anomaly. I have been here now 3 times for the same medication and each time I wait an hour. I’m not sure how this happens. I see the women behind the register (with brown hair) constantly talking and totally inefficient. I get it if they’re “understaffed” but I don’t think that’s the case. There’s 7 people back there and it’s still an hour wait. This seems like an easy fix. They just need to do the initial job RIGHT and then they won’t run into this. It seems like there’s ALWAYS a problem with EVERYONE’S medication. Ive never seen the pharmacist work. She’s always ok the computer. It seems like they just don’t fill prescriptions properly so it’s chronically backed up. If someone from Walgreens reads this I propose two things: close for a whole day for 2 weeks/get caught up and trained or close early every night to do the same. Something has to change. It’s pretty outrageous and a slap in the face to all the customers.

If possible, avoid this pharmacy and get your prescriptions filled elsewhere. Staff is polite but extremely overwhelmed, and can't seem to get organized. Typical wait time is a half hour and that's if your medication is where it should be. (Today I waited an hour.) With how chaotic things seem behind the counter its a wonder the precriptions are filled accurately.

I read the reviews prior to visiting and thought they seemed overly harsh. How bad can a pharmacy really be? The folks were nice but barely competent. You're likely better off attempting to make your own medicine than getting it here.

The staff at this location are extremely unhelpful. I had an issue with an online order and needed it corrected in the store. The manager canceled the order once I arrived and when I asked if she would help me to reorder she said "nope", while chomping on a candy bar and staring over my shoulder in boredom. I just stood there staring, shocked at the lack of care or interest in helping me. She just stood there, not saying a word and looking bored, so I just walked away and drove to another Walgreens that helped me fill my online order with patience and grace. I wont be shopping at this location anymore unless I hear that new, more helpful and caring staff have been hired.

Wait, wait, wait…. Soooo understaffed. Poor clerks, these guys are bombarded with customers and they are usually not trained enough to answer quickly and process the meds pick up line. They have 3 windows but only staff 1. Super long waits. Also, they manage to mess up scripts and the insurance coverage. One time they even lost the script on their system while I was receiving the med and then they could not give it to me because it was no longer in their system.They need to fire the managers.

The worst photo/printing department. Should be so easy! Instead, they hand you someone else photos, gave this 2 attempts, both same mess. Never returning. Don’t waste your time. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

I shop here alot & usually have a good experience . They have a consistent staff . Large ,ample parking spots, great accesability for parking. Wheel chair accessible ramps on all areas to the entrance . Plenty of Handicapped parking at the front door entrance . Electric car charging area . Worst pharmacy I have ever been too. I am in need of a medication and when I called at 8PM after the national call center closed (They are worthless also), the staff had the phones off the hook refusing to answer. I called the front of the store and the clerk transferred me 8 times with no luck. I called back 5 times. They don't care about customer service. I am filing a complaint with the State of Colorado.

I have been coming here for several years. Overall the staff are great. However, having to wait 45+ minutes multiple times and to get scolded by techs when I asked why it takes this long is unprofessional. I understand that this location and across the sector y'all are short-staffed. However, that is never the patient's fault. If the app says the medication is ready, it shouldn't take forever to locate medication. And it is important to be able to give pts their meds in a timely manner and to direct them to their health care provider if they have 30 min+ of questions. I appreciate the staff taking time. I hope this place improves because the staff are good.

Feel bad for the people working here, I know it's probably not their fault. Pharmacy is horribly organized, backed up, understaffed. Was in the store for about 1.5 hours to get a vaccine I had an appointment for. Huge line for everything, tons of old people disappointed their stuff isn't ready. Staff is not particularly sympathetic. Pharmacy also just doesn't answer the phone at all it seems. I can't possibly imagine relying on this place to acquire medication my life depended on.

It is always a struggle to get my prescription here. I order online and then the prescription gets stuck in infinite limbo of "processing" or they don't have my meds in stock. They keep asking for a Prior Authorization, when we've been through this before - my insurance won't cover it and I ALWAYS pay out of pocket. Every month. They should be able to see this. Not sure why I have to go through that merry-go-round over and over for every single refill every month. Currently, I've had to go a full month without my prescription now. It's so frustrating.

This place continues to be a *** COMPLETE DISASTER ***. We had appts reserved for my family’s flu shots & Covid boosters. I even filled out all the paperwork at home so we didn’t need to do a thing once we arrived. After we checked in and sat down, it took exactly 1 hour and a half, they finally came out and told me they didn’t have the right Covid boosters for any of us???! (Even though the scheduling on Walgreens website that I made said that all boosters we would need are accounted for at this Walgreens). It took them an hour and a half to figure that part out—and also to get at least get our flu shots. NO NEED TO MAKE AN APPT HERE PEOPLE WITH THIS WALGREENS BECAUSE IT’S PROBABLE THAT IT WON’T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. Why do I continue to come here?!? My bad

The worst decision I made in my entire medical procedure was picking this place as my pharmacy to get pain medicine. I’ve been in line for over 45 minutes and there are still people in front of me. Read the comments, this “short staffed” issue has been going on for so long.Just pay people more and I promise you won’t have labor issues. You’re a billion dollar organization, make your pay decent so pharmacists want to work for you. Instead the end customer is paying the price with extremely long wait times and terrible service!

The pharmacy is terribly slow. I was in line well before they closed and was waiting for ages. They finally helped the person in front of me but then store manager came out and told me to come back tomorrow. For a prescription I needed that evening. Poor customer service. The worst. Get your prescriptions filled somewhere else to save your time and sanity.

DO NOT send your prescriptions here - ridiculous wait times. Had a prescription sent here in the morning and I showed up 8 hours later and they still hadn’t filled it. I ended up having to wait in line multiple times for them to say “come back in 10” each time. Ultimately waited for an hour at this location.It’s not the employees’ fault - it’s Walgreens’. Staff your stores properly.
