Excellent plant store. Probably the best in the area that isn’t a full nursery itself. The atmosphere is awesome but more importantly they have an excellent array of healthy and happy plants.They have a high amount of rare plants as well! These, of course, come with a price tag in some cases. I’m seeing some reviews critiquing pricing but the only highly marked plants are things like Thai Constellation Monstera’s, etc.The classes are helpful and creative. I was present in the store for a terrarium class and it intrigued me a great deal to want to attend a future event.Staff is super friendly and helpful. Ally at the front desk was checking people out, diagnosing blight from pictures, and potting my plants all the same time.Overall an awesome place to get any house plants you may need, learn a new skill or just kill an hour browsing!

This little shop has a fairly wide variety of plants, and gifts. As well as really cool plant ideas for smaller plants. I gave three stars because there are a quite a few plants that look sickly and still pretty pricy. I did still buy some plants but I would have happily bought more had they looked healthier.

I had a great time shopping for plants! I ended up buying eight! I was able to shop around without any pressure from the employees and once I was ready to have some assistance they gladly helped me! I felt the prices were fairly reasonable, there was one plant in specific that was such an amazing find! I definitely can’t wait to go here again!

I think I have just stumbled upon my new favorite plant store! This store has a great variety of plants and the employees (especially Adrianna) have been SO helpful with giving me guidance, making recommendations, and answering my questions before making my purchases. It doubles as not only a plant store, but also a coffee shop that offers regular yoga sessions! Great place to hang out and work, meet up with friends, or buy a plant!

This is an adorable hometown feeling shop! Adrianna and Krista were super friendly and helpful. Adrianna took the time to explain some products I hadn't heard of before and the benefits of each for my plants. I didnt get pictures of it, but they have a cute little coffee station and a couple tables set up. Definitely somewhere I will revisit. They have a decent variety of house plants, I absolutely love the living wall, which is available for sale if that's your thing I definitely suggest checking it out.

Had to walk around 2 or 3 times to be able to look at all the awesomeness! Definitely a great space to shop and even work at the small nook with tables, coffee, and fountain! A must stop for any plant lover/enthusiasts.

Denver locals, this shop is 100% worth whatever drive you'd have to make. The owners are extremely kind, and present such a welcoming atmosphere when you come shop with them. Their selection is superb, and their prices are astonishing, considering you already get a well-rooted plant in a terra cotta pot.Will be making the trip from Aurora again, for sure!

I absolutely adore this place, Terra Cotta is an amazing place to stop in and have a look around. The store is very beautiful, the employees are super friendly and knowledgeable, and everything is reasonably priced. They sell quality plants and products. This is one of my favorite businesses in Boulder.

I popped into Terracotta in an effort to adorn my sterile WFH "office" with some new plant babies. I'm usually not one to engage salespeople but MAN am I glad I did today. Mrs. Moss (I don't think I got her first name but I sure do remember her well-suited surname) was a delight and helped me to stage different plant, planter, and stand combinations until I had found the perfect trio.

I really like this store. It's cute and they host a lot of really nice events like terrarium potting. The owner is knowledgeable about plants and won't try to upsell you for the more expensive varieties. Prices are a little high but the quality of the plants is commensurate. Great pot selection too, and those are pretty reasonably priced. Great local business to support.

Beautiful nursery with fantastic customer service! I went to pick out plants when I first moved in and Elben was amazing. He helped us pick out 6 plants, potted them and educated us on the care. He was super honest about what would look best in our space and my plants are my favorite thing in our house! If you're new at taking care of a ton of plants this is a great nursery to help you with everything you need!

Super cute plant shop with a tiny cafe inside.All the plants add such a wonderful atmosphere to the cafe space.The cafe selection is rather limited but all good quality options.The staff is super friendly, inviting, and plant-smart, but cafe seating is limited.LOTS of lovely plants and well-made terrariums! Great spot for gifts or if you're a plant addict... ya be careful coming in here.I'll definitely be back when I need some fresh plant air, a gift, or some new plants for my house.

Signed up last minute for the propagation class with Jen and it was incredible! She's so knowledgeable and patient and we learned a ton! The store is beautiful and bright, and we went home with 3 plants each that we propagated. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful little shop! I wish I had discovered it sooner because I am moving out of Boulder soon. I loved how it was brimming with plant life. They also have a lot of gorgeous items for sale that make great gifts. And a coffee shop, which I have to try before I leave town! Thank you Terracotta for helping me find a gift for my mother. :)

I work on Pearl St and went to get some plants for the store front. The owner Eben was beyond helpful, knowledgeable, polite and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this store for beginner plant parents. The atmosphere is beyond relaxing and will most certainly continue to purchase and support this business!

I was given a gift card to this place for Christmas although I don't live in Boulder. My brother, does and stumbled across this store on his way to coffee, and KNEW I would love it. I purchased two plants, one of which is semi-rare. When I took it to the register, you could see the excitement on the cashier's face. She was thrilled to see someone buying that plant and was showing me the little babies growing in from the bottom. You can tell that there is an absolute love for plants in there, not just from customers but the entire staff. It may be an hour away, but I will be coming in every time I stop in to see my brother. Thank you!!

Cute, but ridiculously overpriced. Most plants are hiked up by two or three times what they are worth, some more. There might be some harder-to-find finds though I wouldn't say curated. You can find most of these at a Lowe's, Home Depot, or even a traditional nursery for a significantly better price. (I literally went to Lowe's earlier that day and saw the same calathea species Terracotta was offering for 4x the plant at 3/4 the cost. Again, Terracotta's calathea was $12 vs $8.95 at Lowe's.) However, you won't run into the issue of seeing a plant you fall in love with that has no identification. They are all labeled with genus and species. I suppose you could say you're paying for location and atmosphere, maybe even customer service. Both associates seemed to be very involved with their customer but didn't ignore us when we walked in or left.Speaking of atmosphere, this little shop definitely has a cool vibe. The music was super relaxing and it's an inviting place, put together. There is a mini-cafe with a few seats and apparently you can get a spiritual reading here if you need a little something extra. Again, the employees had a good demeanor toward their patrons.All in all, I wouldn't come here again for anything but I can see the hype.

Accidentally stumbled upon this GORGEOUS plant bar! Beautiful selection of plants, rocks and crystals, pots…ceramic snakes. Very helpful staff went out of their way to find the perfect box, wrap my snakes carefully so they wouldn’t get damaged on my plane ride back home. This place is a GEM. Wish we had one in TN! 😩

I just visited Terracotta for the first time today. Shelby helped me and was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! I had specific needs including pet safe, low light, and low water. Shelby led me straight to the pet safe table and helped me pick out some beautiful plants that met all my (and my cat’s) needs. She very patiently answered all my questions and was excited to hear about the cat sanctuary I was going to build. I will definitely be back! Thank you!

I purchased a plant during a winter storm not on purpose. I was emailed about the winter protection which was a god send! I received my plant wrapped up with so much care and protection!
