Definitely a highlight on my birthday trip to Boulder was stopping by this wonderful cat cafe.This is a great way to interact with cats of all ages and give them some much needed attention. I enjoyed thoroughly going through and playing with them all. The cat cafe had an extensive amount of toys to utilize which made the hour time slot go very fast.It was a clean atmosphere and wasn’t crowded at all.If you’re an animal lover I would highly recommend stopping by here and spending some time with the cats.

My daughter wanted to hang out with the cats for her birthday. Upon arriving I think the smell was very overwhelming, but it softens as you stay. Cats were playful and most allowed you to pet them. This is a good cause and you can get your cat fix without having to own one. I think an investment in a few more air purifiers and some air flow would do great things for the customer experience.

We came here for the first time 2 days ago and had to go again today we loved it so much! What a wonderful way to get cats adopted and let people get to know a cat before they adopt. And it's a fabulous place to hang out for an hour if you like cats. The cats are sociable, often coming up to you to play or get some pets and snuggles. My latte was nice and the kids enjoyed their hot chocolates. Nothing fancy but it was just right. We came for the cat snuggles and were nowhere near disappointed. I highly recommend coming, it will warm your heart.

We found a cat and we wanted to adopt cuz we spent perfect 1 hour with her during our visit, so we wanted to take her home. We applied, make calls but there is no response.Its been almost 3 months. They didn’t even say they can’t give us a cat. I was not expecting it will be this much hard process:(

So much fun. If you love cats, you’ll love this place. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time with each cat and there’s a lot of them here! All of them are also available to be adopted. Vibe is chill and welcoming. I’ll be back!

What a cute spot! My sister and I had so much fun hanging out with the cats. It’s great that you can buy cute goodies too and support the kitties. Alex was kind and informative. Loved hearing their cat stories :)

Our initial experience with the cafe was largely positive, the staff were friendly, the cafe was clean, and there were, of course, plenty of cats. My partner and I were looking for our first animal together and we have seen many success stories from previous cat cafes. We found a younger cat < 1 year old that was perfect for us and submitted an application. We were told by the staff that the cat was completely healthy and had no noticeable issues. Additionally, all vaccines were up to date and she was checked by a vet.Update:We had a poor experience with a vet that we worked with that led us to believe that there were serious undisclosed health issues with our cat. Thankfully, this turned out to be untrue!

Good vibes, with plenty of seating. The cats seemed well cared for. The only real negative for me is that place reeked of ammonia. I’ve been to a cat cafe that didn’t smell horribly of un-cleaned litter so I know it’s possible

The cat cafe was super clean and well maintained. The cats were all wonderful, cute, and the kittens kept everyone entertained! Great spot to hang out with adoptable cats!!

The idea is great but it’s to much just for entry they need to change that, also the smell is nauseating I couldn’t even stay for 30min after me and my fiancé paid $30. We were looking to adopt a cat before we found ours and I remember the policy being crazy as well. The people are nice though.

We visited this place to give us some comfort and help us heal a little from the passing of our kitty. 10/10 will return again. And hopefully maybe to adopt another sweet baby. The staff are friendly and wonderful. The kitties are sweet and well socialized. What more could you want? :)And to the people complaining about the age requirement, find somewhere else to go then. Would you like to have your hair pulled on, be screamed at; or squished, poked and prodded? Because that's what young children and toddlers often do to cats. And that's how little kids end up with scratches, it's for the safety of children and the cats.

My kids and I had a wonderful time. A great way to spend an hour and gets some touch therapy with cute cats. My heart was stolen by Jean Grey an adorable blind cat with a giant heart.

Just visited here for the first time with my partner a few days ago we both absolutely loved it. I enjoyed it more than the Denver cat company personally however both are great options if you're just looking to hang out with some cats. Could probably benefit from a bigger menu but the things that are on there are pretty yummy so no big deal. Will definitely be visiting again soon

The place was nice enough but I came there to try and relax and de stress but the two people working there wouldn’t stop talking to each other. It was very bothersome and I just didn’t know how to ask them to be quiet without being rude. If that is something that would bother you, then just know that going in and if you see that there are 2 people at the front desk, say something before you pay your money or go back another time.

This is a great organization with folks who obviously care so much about what they are doing! My only real issue was receiving some conflicting information from Purrfect Pause and Front Range Freedom Rescue (where they get their cats from). But I do understand the challenges communicating between 3 different entities and I feel that everyone I spoke with was trying to be helpful and kind.In contrast to being mostly happy with my experience at Purrfect Pause, I was not happy with Front Range Freedom Rescue with how they treated me and their lack of communication. I'm not blaming Purrfect Pause nor am I reviewing them based off of Front Range. That is a separate review. But it's unfortunate because, if I did adopt another cat I would want to go through the cat cafe, but probably won't because I'm not sure I could deal with Front Range again after such a negative experience.

Having visited S. Korea and gotten to experience cat cafes for the first time there, I thought this was such a great addition to Boulder when I passed by. Arrived with my family to be turned away because they don’t allow children under age 8. Sad to explain to my 4 year old that we couldn’t stay. She didn’t understand and frankly, neither did I. “Safety.” I can understand policy for behavior that maintains safety for young ones and cats, but having fostered and adopted many cats over the years, I don’t understand or agree with a policy that prohibits responsible parents and young ones from such an enjoyable experience. Especially if some of these fosters could potentially be adopted by families with young children. Create a reasonable policy and have a waiver available to be more inclusive.

What a great idea. The cats have been fostered (never caged). That, combined with being around all these other cats, they are well socialized. You can just hang out and enjoy their company.
