Good selection, nice people. Staff is friendly and always asks if it is ok to pet/touch/give treats to my pup first which is so great. And it makes him feel much more comfortable when he is approached that way too. So it’s nice to come in and say hi and help him practice impulsive control, meeting new people, and listening to me/commands in a very distracting environment for a young pup. Much appreciated! And love it when the flower cookies, pumpkin rings, and his dog food (taste of the wild pacific stream- he’s a standard poodle with a sensitive stomach and picky taste) are in stock.Do wish they carried fancy feast pate seafood varieties for my geriatric cat with chicken allergy and half a mouth of teeth. So didn’t have to make multiple stops or orders but that’s ok.

I took my puppy Rosie to get groomed for the first time today and had a wonderful experience. I am completely blanking on the name of the woman who helped us but she had glasses and bangs (I want to say her name was Coral?), she was so nice and really made me feel comfortable leaving Rosie. She walked me through everything they were going to do and assured me that if Rosie was uncomfortable with anything they wouldn’t force her. This is music to a dog mom’s ears! When I picked Rosie up not only was she well groomed but I could tell she was happy and had a good time. Thank you so much to everyone at Petco for making our experience great!

Absolutely by far the best petco I’ve ever been to. We came here right after we dropped off our beloved dog to get a big scary surgery. Joe helped us pick out all the necessary things we need for post operation. What a sweet and special human. Made our day with his caring and kindness. Thanks Joe!

My recent experience with Petco's grooming services, particularly with a manager named Joe, was deeply disturbing. After trying to make an appointment with 38 unanswered calls, I was met with outright hostility. Joe's behavior was shockingly unprofessional, including the use of homophobic slurs and cursing. Such conduct is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about Petco's standards for employee behavior and customer respect. This incident demands immediate attention and action from Petco to address and rectify this unacceptable behavior, ensuring no customer experiences such disrespect. We used to love our groomer but will never be back.

Left in the waiting room for over an hour while my dog was having his ear cleaned . Usually only takes 10 to 15 minutes. Then charged more than an actual vet. Ear cleaning + two meds for for $350 after using a $70 coupon!!!!Never coming back to Petco/Vetco again.

I normally take my pets to the longmont Vetco. I LOVE THEM! They never make me feel insecure or judged for anything I ask or any of my decisions. They’re super transparent with prices and make me feel considered. I recently took in a friends 1 momma and 6 kittens. A kitten got very Ill and I took it in. They told me I was doing an amazing job with mom and kittens but maybe this once just wouldn’t thrive. I really appreciate them for that. It was a hard 7+ weeks at that point.I took two of the kittens to the boulder clinic to get 3 shots. Without ASKING or consulting prices with me they said “it will be $97 a kitten” I have a family and animals that I am accountable for. I wanted to get their first vaccines and get them to their families. I didn’t plan on all their extra vet visits they also snuck in a check up. Which was weighing them and taking their temp. A visit I anticipated being $59 was now nearly $100 per kitten. I could go more and more but really, they just were condescending to me. I expressed this had been an extremely expensive favor I had done for someone and they seemed to be angry I wasn’t willing to schedule a check up. I hated my experience in boulder but will always use the Longmont clinic as my vet.

Julie did a great job grooming my sweet boy Denver. It’s been a challenge to find a groomer where he feels comfortable, he is a rescue and is often scared and timid, but he looks great and is happy as can be! We will be back for his next bath. Just stoped by to get my frenchie checked up, id never been to this location, I needed to get my dog checked up asap, I was concerned about her health. I prob won’t come back since it’s so far but I wish it was closer. The dr and the nurse were amazing!!! Thank you for fitting me into your schedule so quickly

I bring my 12 yr old greyhound here for nail trims/buffing. He is nervous about anyone touching his feet and he has arthritis in his right back leg. Grace is usually the person who does his nails, and she has such a great way with him. We have had other people do his nails as well and I must say that everyone in the grooming department is knowledgeable and compassionate. I have taken him to other groomers, and he has come away sore in his nails and his arthritic leg. Here at PetCo we always have a wonderful experience.

Had to get a cat toy for a XMAS present and I am NOT a cat person and don't know which toy to get, the girl at the counter gave me honest feedback and was knowledgeable so I appreciated the help. Seems to have a good selection on food and toys so I would definitely recommend this store / location.

The store is always clean and well organized and I find that it's fairly easy to find. Hope if you're looking for something and it isn't obvious.Her dogs and cats you can find pretty much everything you could possibly need, I also have fish and find the selection fish to be limited, but for an entry level hobbyist probably all you need.Parking in this area is pretty easy, although the lot isn't very well organized, so drive around the parking lot with caution.

He normally hates having his nails trimmed. As you can see he was actually pretty happy with Zoe! I have joined the monthly unlimited nail trimming and teeth brushing service. It's awesome!

My very timid mini goldendoodle got a wash and groom. Ashley was amazing! She was kind and gentle and calming, and did a great cut. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Riley was very helpful with the fish section. Unfortunately, when I went to check out there was a huge line and only 2 people working. Once I got up to pay for my 2 fish the scan code did not work. It took forever for them to figure it out. Once I got home, I noticed one of my fish had already died. It wasn't worth me to go back and wait in line again and deal with all of it again.

I went in to get a beta fish. I was spoken to aggressively for asking simple questions. I felt that the only thing the sales lady cared about was selling me products. I ended up getting a beta and without asking the lady handed me everything I “needed” when I asked her to explain why I needed it all she said “you just do, or your fish will die” once I took my fish home I followed every single direction this lady told me. I took perfect care of the fish and tank/water. The fish died the next day. Before it died I called to ask questions as to why my fish was acting weird, and the exact same lady responded “I don’t know but it’s probably because you don’t have a heater you can come in and get one.” I am so infuriated by my treatment at this store and by this lady. Now my first fish ever, sharpay, is dead and I can’t get her back. I am furious. Never go to this store ever.
