This is a small Whole Foods. We were able to find everything we needed — hot coffee, fresh produce, ingredients for vegan lunches + dinner on the go, and more. JV was our cashier and he was super personable, helpful, and kind. Would honestly come back just to say hi again! These 3 sisters wish you and your triplet niblings the best!

Ideal Market has an impressive selection for how small it is. The produce section is always well stocked with an impressive selection of nice looking fruits and vegetables. It’s easy to pick up staple groceries here too, and the deli counter is convenient.

Great place to grab a couple slices of good pizza and sit outside for lunch. Bought some unique sodas.to go with lunch. Staff was great,.polite and professional.enhoyed the food as well. Stop in and enjoy the shopping and deli.

Worst parking lot. Worst store layout. Worst checkout lines. Worst concentration of uppity Boulder moms on juice cleanses. Every time I come here needing two quick things I leave with my last nerve being tested. Get a few self checkout lanes (for what is obviously a quick stop type store) and maybe this won’t resemble the 9th circle of hell.

Although it was a great find my budget could not go far here. This local gem just popped up as I was driving around Boulder. I shopped at Whole Foods market (very pricy) but worth the stop as I was In need of a snack. The parking is free for 2 hours but only if you are shopping in the small market area.

Better known as "Ideal Market" by locals (whole foods owns them though). It's essentially a mini whole foods and does get very crowded. Prices are also pretty high but that's standard for this chain. Their lunch food, however, is fantastic! They have great pizza and their salad/hot bars go half off every once in a while.

Went into the market during my lunch break, planned on getting a salad. Once there, I went back to the salad bar and there was hardly any Lettuce in the pan. I asked if it was possible to put out more fresh. Lettuce and I was told they can't do that until 12:30. So I guess in the meantime? I'm supposed to p*** away my lunch hour and wait for fresh lettuce for half an hour. , not to mention they charge you an arm and a leg for a salad. I would not recommend this store to anyone if that's how they treat their customers.

This North Boulder Grocery has wholesome food options. Always a go to place for quick small fresh pick ups. Produce is great with specials. Also To Go options. Gluten Free baked goods.

This is the little Whole Foods that I’ve always dreamed of! Upon walking inside it has a small town and cozy feel to it! It was very clean and offered very fresh produce! It was quite the pricey little grocery store so it’s certainly not for folks with a light wallet. 😳

Basically a smaller Whole Foods but it is convenient and has most of the things I would buy from a full sized Whole Foods.Only complaint is the limited checkouts, most of the time not a problem but during lunch rush it can get surprisingly busy with the amount of dining options nearby.

I loved ideal before whole foods bought it. Now it's like a whole foods with a small selection and fairly rude staff. Like, the selection is big for a small grocery store, but it feels like they tried to fit a giant while foods into a smaller building, but have no idea what to prioritize. There is some randomly obscure stuff and then it can be missing very basic ingredients.

Sad to see that this location is no longer bike friendly. I've been going here for years with my bike, with no issues. The staff has been friendly and accomodating. But it seems that bikes are longer allowed in the store. Sad to see it happen.

This store used to be so customer focused, had managers who cared but now with Amazon taking over it is nothing to write home about. The soups, which is why I generally go here are usually empty, they never have Matzo Ball soup, only very, very rarely in the plastic containers and lack many matzo balls yet sell for a pricey $8.00. The container fills just 1 soup bowl if that. The salad bar is sparse, looks terrible often and the selection overall is very limited. I have stopped going here and would not recommend it. If you do complain also nothing is done. Amazon could care less. I wish a really decent organic natural food store would come into town and give Whole Foods a run for their money. It's sad to see. Ideal Market at one point was an iconic brand for the town and neighborhood, but not anymore.

Great small “ I know where everything is” grocery store. I go to buy whatever meats are in sale…tonight it was bone-in thick cut pork chops $4.99/lb. Freeking great price and top quality meats.

Nice local store if you live in the area. Otherwise: $10 for hotdog buns.The employees are great at letting you know something you’re buying is NOT on sale, but terrible at asking for your prime membership when you are getting something on sale.

I give it 3 stars only because it’s my neighborhood grocery store for 10 years with history of great friendly customer service. However, first time meeting manager today and would give it a 1 star for being completely unhelpful so had to call Corporate to get needed order due to unforeseen circumstances.

Visiting a friend and stopped here. I enjoyed the small store experience personally. Would return for sure, as everyone was super friendly.
