I've had my pup Hugo groomed at this location several times and just adore the groomers, I really appreciate the extra care and love they give to my now aging pup. I tend to pick up orders at the same time and the staff in the store are super organized, even when I'm not. Thank you all for making me and my pup feel welcomed and taken care of.

I frequently visit Petco locations at Tower Road and Southlands Pkwy. The critters are always taken care of by passionate and knowledgeable employees.

I always take my baby to take a shower, because I think this Petco was the best before it smelled. I just picked up my baby and today is the special day of his birthday, and he came as if he had just wet... Did they change the bath material or didn’t they give the bath correctly right???????He doesn’t smell, but smells like a poorly washed dog

Waited in fish for someone to help us, several minutes go by and I start looking for someone. Then the announcement goes that the store is closed. Walk up and ask if I can quickly grab the one fish I came in for and am told no it's too late, we are closed. Tell what I assume was the manager that I had been waiting to be helped for awhile before they closed and no one helped us. She simply stated "oh we don't have anyone in aquatics"

Unfortunately not a great selection of interesting new fish. I asked an employee about a failed fish tank and he basically said I’m on my own and didn’t care that my house was flooded. Then to top it off vital care discounts are no longer 20%. Wasn’t worth the hassle of stopping there.

This is one of, if not the worst Petco… Stacy should not be working around the public in any capacity. She makes up her own prices and doesn’t like to sell any of “her”animals, to customers … they don’t like price matching their own website… not a competitors site but their own. do not go to this Petco… you will pay for the privilege of being over charged and talked down to. (not that any Petco is great) but avoid the lady at the southlands location. Also the other employees there lie to your face … they don’t like working there. Maybe they shouldn’t. I called Petco corporate to let them know… and Stacy wanted to argue and fight about previous complaints made about her absolutely rude behavior…( there are may complaints about her on this review page) advice …don’t work in customer service or retail if you can’t be nice.

The girl checking out was amazing! She was so sweet to my daughter who really wants a Guinea pig but we can’t get one right now with allergy testing. Thanks so so much! You guys made her day by explaining everything to her about the Guinea pigs!

Drove quite a distance to get needed items for my pets only to find that the store closes at 8pm now instead of 9pm like the Google page says. It would be nice for your customers to fix this since it is wasting peoples time at this and many other locations.

My dog spent so many hours, came home distress, didn’t feel comfortable. His grooming was not the best. Is a golden retriever , his hair was cut too much. I won’t be back there.

Staffs are friendly and experienced.I started to use their services beside just products. I actually enjoyed the dog training class and scheduled my dog 1st Petco grooming service. I am going to make this my one stop shop.

The employees were extremely friendly and helped inform me on the pets and what they need to stay happy such as getting a large enough enclosure for a hamster. I was very happy that they take care of the animals and wouldn't sell them unless you have a correctly sized habitat as a lot of other pet stores don't do that and only focus on selling more pets for profit regardless of treatment.

Do NOT try to order of the website. It does not work. I'll pay more going through chewy but at least the chewy website works. Also if you have any questions just stop by the check out person it will save you from walking around the store a few times not finding any employees.

A well organized and clean place, but there was no one to help me. I was looking for cat food and wandered the isles for probably 20 minutes or so looking for the right brand and/or someone to help me and couldn't find anyone. I left empty handed - this was the middle of the week so it's not like they were crazy busy. I'll give them another try but I much prefer other shops near by.

I came into this petco to pick up a few fish and this review is primarily based on the fish department. There's a very good selection and the tanks are immaculate. I was very impressed with how well taken care of they were.

The groomer scared my dog and would not finish the haircut. The groomer was only able to clip one patch of hair between the eye before my dog got scared. I want to know who comes at a dog with clippers right between the eyes to start a grooming and expects the dog not to freak out. I have taken my dog to Petco for grooming appointments and vaccinations ever since she was 3 months old and never had an issue with her getting scared and having anxiety. And now, she is still freaking out when someone goes to pet her head. I will never bring my dog back to Petco, nor will I ever shop at Petco again. I am almost tempted to contact an attorney over this matter.ThanksTammy Anderson

Stacy is AMAZING with all the knowledge she has for reptiles. Every time I go in (which is quite often) she always takes time to answer alllll my questions about a breaded dragon that I got about a yr ago for my kiddo.Honestly, I had no idea what I was getting into as I know NOTHING about these dragons. But have done my best to learn and research.Long story short...after telling her some stuff going on with our dragon, she IMMEDIATELY knew what was wrong as I had NO idea that there was a bigger problem happening.Let's say she saved our dragons life!! She knows EVERYTHING!!!Thanks stacy, our little guy seems to be better as you said he would be showing signs of feeling better and he would perk up within a couple days!! You were right!!

I like to get my fish from here because unlike PetSmart they're actually alive most the time, anyways I digress, I was looks for fish and advice and this kid named Ryan was SUPER helpful and nice and understanding and didn't mind answering any of my questions, seemed very knowledgeable and he really had a back for the fish area, anyway my new tank is great and his advice went a long way
