Nathan made the experience so bad I will not be returning. Rude and Unprofessional. I told him he was making my experience there really uncomfortable and his response was unprofessional. He also told me he was going to charge me after the fact for additional cleaning. He said I left hair in the bottom of the tub and paw prints all over the ground . These are my pictures after I gave my dog a bath. Not only did I cleaned up and throw the dog here in the trash, but I washed off the shampoo bottle which was already full of hair. Very uncomfortable experience, and never will return again

If you didn't already know, this is a great place to bring your dog for a haircut! Ashley did a great job taking care of our old Yorkie and puppy Chihuahua. 2 happy Dogs in America ;)

Yucaipa gem! This pet store has a little bit of everything. It's very clean and the staff has been helpful. I've purchased fish, crickets, worms, and dog treats. Last time I was in, there was a tank of blue worms they were harvesting. Super cool! Groomer is very good, fast, and affordable. My 17 year old dog had a great experience. I liked that the grooming appointment was done in 1 1/2 hrs. Other spots take 5-6 and the mobile groomers don't seem to take their business seriously.

I love Uptown Pet Supply Shop. This is where I prefer to shop, It has everything I need for my Dog and Snakes. They have a new young man who started today, wished I would have gotten his name but next time, He was a big help and I know he's going to be an great employee for the shop.Congratulations young man....

Uptown Pets staff were very rude and dismissive when I needed help as a newly disabled person. Unkind and condescending, even telling me to shop elsewhere, knowing they are the only feed store in Yucaipa.When I bought a pair of finches, the employees let one fly away in the store until it knocked itself out running into a window... and the other finch suffered a plucked tail feather because the employee grabbed it by the tail to catch it. I was then asked if I "still wanted the birds" which I agreed to, as any other person with empathy would. Sadly, one of the finches ended up dying and on the day of his death, I went back to the store, very distraught and upset, And was met with indifference which shocked me. After I began to voice my dissatisfaction, the manager accused me of "wanting a discount" on another bird, although I had never even mentioned a cost. I would've bought two more birds if that was what they wanted, but I was told to pay for my new bird and buy what I needed somewhere else. Then the manager turned his back to me and got on his phone.Since I suffered my stroke and returned to the land of the living, I haven't been treated as bad by someone who wasn't my heartless ex wife.But there isn't another feed store near me in Yucaipa, so I'll likely swallow what little self-worth I have and shop there again to care for my beloved animals. I hate it, but what can I do but vent here to try and inform others?

They are very knowledgeable about there products and they are a greatly healthy pet food store. They are pricey but you get what you pay for here. great quality food and different supplements to help a lot of animals I enjoyed talking to the staff and I will be going back this weekend to get my dog and cats better food and a better life. Don't get your dog groomed here the groomer looks like she's having a bad day she uses thick chains that are to heavy for a small old deformed dog that is totally cooperative and makes your dogs nails bleed I found somewhere else and it's cheaper fast friendly and excellent job

Avoid Uptown Pets in Yucaipa. There groomers are incompetent and she killed my dog. She left her alone in the cage without water and left for two hours. These people are worthless.

I went here last night because my new baby guinea Pigs were in need of a water bottle, due to the one I purchased earlier that day from another pet store not working properly. The nice lady with the glasses asked if I needed help and I explained the situation and she was beyond helpful. Not only did she give me a recommendation for a bottle to buy but she also took time to show me what she meant on how to get it to work. So greatful to have a pet store in town that has such friendly and knowledgeable workers! ❤❤

Emlyn and Avery were some of the nicest people ever. My girlfriend and I walked in to grab a bag of dog food and they shared more info about the brand and also showed us other brands that they recommend and feed their own pups. Every single time we walk into this feed store they make you feel very welcomed. Highly recommend this place and will no longer be buying food from tractor supply :)

As much as I love the staff, the owner of the store is horrible. She uses people to get the position she has, and does not always do what’s best for the animals. She’s truly lucky to have the staff she does but still doesn’t even pay them minimum wage. Does not ever go to work but watches the cameras daily. Has cameras in the break room which is also highly illegal.

I always bring my kids here with our dog Luna. My kids love to see the animals and the fish, the staff is always very friendly and professional. Yesterday we took our dog in to see the groomer Jordan. She was a real nice friendly person who cut Luna's nails and she did a wonderful job our dog doesn't usually like to get her nails trimmed and where other's have cut them too short they were perfect today very impressed with the service and how friendly everyone is at uptown pets.

this place is definitely not a bad store i always go here for crickets and stuff like that but i had a couple of bad experiences i went in there looking for a new pet reptile and they had a baby crested gecko and we wanted to get it so a girl comes in and started treating my son like he was a baby. She started asking him all sorts of questions it was like she was testing him. he already knew a lot about crested geckos but she kept pushing him more and more It was like she was trying to stop us from getting the gecko. Even tho its not her business to be doing that type of thing. There are some very nice people there and some mean people in this store but i wouldn't say you should stay away from it.

If I could give a zero I would. Needed to find new food (canned) and my dog would not touch this. Tried to take 2 unopened cans w receipt. "owner won't let us take back food". Poor customer service and will never return

The girl behind the desk was super friendly and answered all my questions about the pet food perfectly. All the food is great and healthy with plenty of options far cats and dogs with a variety of ages and needs. Definitely my new favorite spot to go to for any pet stuff!

Very nice establishment, I go here for all my pet needs. The groomer is also wonderful! $60 for a hairy German Shepherd, with nail trim and ear clean. My dog came back fluffy and beautiful. Couldn't be happier, and will always go back.

What a GEM! A pet store with employees that are knowledgeable and passionate about animals. I had a few questions regarding my dog and they gave me some great advice...worked like a charm! Plus they have everything you need in a cute, clean downtown shop!

I've always loved Uptown Pets but tonight they went above and beyond! One of our rabbits was bitten by another rabbit and her lip was in bad shape. We traveled all over the Inland Empire trying to get someone to see her. Either clinics were closed or vets wouldn't see her because they don't treat rabbits.She was bleeding, her lip was separated from her face, they wouldn't even give me advice on how to care for her until I could get to the right vet. No one would even advise me on how to clean the wound. They just sent us away with a clucking suffering young bunny. I wasn't sure what was more upsetting, the pain our bunny was in, or the absence of compassion from people who made a career out of caring for animals.I decided to check with Uptown Pets just before they were closing. Not only did I get the right product to treat our bunny's wound, but Emlyn asked to look at her and then talked to me for a long time giving me instructions on how to use the product to treat the wound, how to watch her during the night, things to look for, how to help her eat, drink, and even how to keep her cage while she is healing. She went online and showed me her vet of choice for rabbit care and instructed me on next steps and the best way to get the appointment I needed the following day.Emlyn reassured me that our bunny would be fine during the night and gave me action steps to help prevent serious infection or other unwanted health issues due to refusing food or water. She helped me after several emergency clinics wouldn't even set their eyes on her or offer any instructions on how to avoid infection. Emlyn even gave me a contact number so I could reach her if I needed more help and asked to be updated on how she is doing!I am beyond grateful! I can't say enough about the compassion, encouragement, and the beyond the limits care we got there! Uptown Pets isn't just a pet store, they love animals, they know their animals, they know their products, and they care about their customers!
