We as a family love to come here from Sacramento until now in colusa county. We have a 55g tank, and all pets and plants came from Gaiser.Sometimes, I'm concerned the staff don't take time to remove dead fish, but as an owner of fish, I know it happens. Please, for business, take the time to remove dead fish. 🙏Another thing we loved was the free Bible. It is more than needed in today's society and we greatly appreciated this!!! 🙏

I'm from out of state, heard all this talk about an amazing pet store...I've been herping for over 40 years. My beardie was gravid, about to lay and I called to see if they could help with a dig box, and could keep her eggs, since I knew they wouldn't last the drive back to Tennessee. They offered no help but gladly took the eggs. Then after they thought I'd left, made rude, demeaning comments. Then made me pay for some food for her.I decided to give them a chance, returned after my trip to Bullards Bar to replenish the food, and though a different employee, still rude, and seems disinterested in anything than my money.Last time I'll ever step foot there! Better people at Petsmart, Petco, or any chain for that matter!!!Terrible place for real animal lovers!!!

Best place to get an awesome pet!Employees are very knowledgeable and know what to do when it comes to caring for aquatic creatures.They were nice enough to help me with testing the water quality of my tank and recommended medication and fish care tips to keep my goldfish happy and healthy!

Very unique pet store! Also locally owned , which we love!! They have so many exotic creatures. We saw a large selection of fish, turtles, birds and more. The only down for us personally, was the really strong smell of I guess a combination of all these creatures. The blond front desk gal did not make any attempt to acknowledge us or ask if we need help... or greet us on the way out. They can definitely improve this.

Huge pet shop. I was mostly interested in the terrarium and aquarium supplies, and they had a huge selection. They had stuff that previously I had to special order to get it to my previous residence in the Central Valley. The atmosphere was great and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I will be coming back here for my various needs instead of the giant corporate pet stores.

Some staff are a bit rude and miss with their customer service.They have a variety of your pet needs in stock.Reptile: crickets, worms, roaches, etc and they have all the accessories plus they sell reptilesDogs: they have some dogs for sale. All of the dog accessories you can imagine.Cats: cats for sale and the accessories you’ll need to keep the cat happyFish: they have a variety for sale and all the supplies and accessories you might needCutest turtle that roams around the buildingRestrooms are kept ok.The smell I’m the store is not the best but I’m assuming it’s due to their large variety of lives animals.You can pay 25-50 cents and feed the fish in the door pond. Staff will usuallyGive the kids free pellets to feed the fish and that makes the kiddos so happy.There is also an outdoor pond but I’m not sure if you can feed those.It’s Plumas street, parking is a hit and miss.Good location. Plenty of restaurants right next to it.

Great store, friendly people. Large selection of cat and dog food. They also stock many rare and unique reptiles and accessories. Great place for used equipment as well.

OMGosh I absolutely LOVE this place! It's my 5 year old sons favorite place to go. They have a nice blend of different animals. The people that work there are amazing. The lady that deals with the adoptions is super knowledgeable and takes great care of the animals. They have really awesome prices on rabbit care products which is one of the main things I buy from there. They keep the place really clean. They have a huge turtle and a huge lizard of some sort that they let walk around the store which is so cool. My son loves petting them. All in all this is an amazing pet store.

We had a great time wandering around and looking at all the animals. There's a sign that says to donate your fruits and veggies to the animals so we plan to do that today since we always have extra fruit on our trees. Staff is friendly and animals seem well cared for. It is crowded. I feel like there a a lot of animals for the amount of space in the store and also quite a few people. My son had a great time.

Skinny girl that works the cash register that looks like she’s been tweaking is extremely rude. Literally every time I visit. The guy with the curly hair and glasses is really nice.

I've been coming here for many, many years. Usually a really fast, in-and-out kind of experience. Most of the employees are cool people who have worked here for a long time. The aquarium section is really cool. You can look at fish here for hours. They have top brand dog/ cat food and really cool stuff for my fish (freshwater tropical), so that's why my wife and I come here.

This is one of the pet stores that I enjoy killing time in they have a wonderful selection and they offer free boxes for anyone on top of free Bibles I love their policies and I love the variety you really must see them

I was trying to buy 2 fish for my aquarium and the guy was pressing me to get 3 so they could be a group so I was like alright because he said I could get a discount, when he rings me up all the sudden there’s no discount to be heard of💀

I love the store and everything it has to offer, but 50% of the time I am helped by a very rude person or exceptionally indifferent one. For a local family owned shop, I would hope for nicer employees. Again. It is 50 % of the time, but at some point it will affect if I go and pay less elsewhere.

Cicero IL visitor here.Only came for a birthday gift to a relative, but even in the short time I was there I could see that the animals were well cared for and even trusting of people.The woman who helped us was very informative on caring for the guinea pig we purchased and shared info on how to care for them.

If you like exotics and aquatics, you'll love THIS place! The aquarium section is like half the store. There's a coi pond with a waterfall and feeding station in the middle and too many different kinds of beautiful water creatures to list, but I didn't even know electric scallops were a thing!

Rude nasty tattoo girl working the front. Has finches priced and labeled for sale. Ask to buy 3. Tells me not for sale until Friday ignore the signs. Whatever okay false advertising. There are laws about this. If it’s priced and marked for sale you have to sell it. It shouldn’t be labeled for sale and priced if it’s not for sale. I told them I drove 3 hours and wont be able to come back Friday. In the most rude tone of voice she says “Well you really should have called before coming huh?”. Now I will never shop here again. Congrats. You lost a well paying customer. I’ll just go to sac instead of shopping local. Better yet, I can just order online. Had she not felt the need to make a rude passive aggressive comment as I was leaving I would have been more understanding despite the false advertising and came back. How hard is it to say “I am sorry about that give us a call next time and we will take care of you”? That’s what I would have said if I was representing the people who help me pay my bills. Take pride in your job. That snarky comment costed your business potential tens of thousands in lost revenue from myself as I live in the mountains and have over 100 animals- I make a few town trips a month. Plus lost all the word of mouth business I would have given had they been respectful. Looks like I’m not the only one on here who this person has been rude to. Hire nicer people if you wanna stay in business. This is why brick and mortar is dying.

They have almost everything you need for your pet, or pets. A variety a fish, reptiles, and birds. Food and other supplies are bountiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this shop.

Really nice to see a pet store that also rescues animals such as reptiles which can be difficult. Helpful staff and great prices on pet supplies. And we really loved the animals roaming the isles.

Really friendly and homely environment, animals looked like they loved it there, minus a large lizard that kept clawing at its cage but hey it happens. Only real complaint is the aquatic section did smell a little ripe but i cant blame them there.
