My wife and I chose to meet her during the week for breakfast... She was in Vallejo, and I was in Chico. We decided to look around before we sat down, and we were amazed at the building and what was inside. Deli, alcohol, ice cream, and SO MANY types of condiments, oils, syrups, jarred fruits/vegetables, hot sauces/BBQ sauces, and wines. We made our purchases and then made our way into the restaurant. We ordered coffee, and then I got the full stack of pancakes with sausage patties while She got the French toast with a Spicy sausage link. When I say it was plenty of food, I'm being generous. It was too much to eat, so we took it to go. The service was excellant and quick, and our waitress didn't let us go more than 3 minutes between refills or additions like extra butter or syrup. THIS is a place we will frequent again regardless of time or place. You have to go here, shop and eat, and see if YOU don't feel the same way.

The food is delicious!!! I've been coming here since the early 2000s. We would stop at the deli on road trips and restaurant on the way back. This was my hubs first time. He's Italian and picky about his sauce because his Nono. He loved it. The food is amazing. The place is very cool. Hotel, gift shop, deli, store and the bar is very cool. And don't be alarmed if in the parking lot someone says, "Hey, how are you guys doing tonight?" It happens every time! It's a local who lives in Williams. They're friendly. Sometimes, it's shocking! Our waitress was awesome!

I have stopped in here over the years multiple times. If quantity of food was what was being rated I think it would rank high. But since I am mostly going to rate quality I just can't much love. Tuna melt with fries is $20 which I knew when I ordered. But for that price I expected albacore Tuna. Instead I got the brown mush type that is mostly suitable for cat food or something. The location is a good traveler trap with all the things they offer in cans an jars.

I enjoyed my lunch at Granzella's!I've passed by this place a few times and finally stopped for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised.It's a restaurant, bar and country store all wrapped up into one.The bar is definitely worth seeing for all of its taxidermied specimens...unless you're a vegan of course.There were friendly faces about and my server, Jeff, was on point.I had the country fried steak and gravy which was delicious. The salad was just OK.

What an amazing value the Surf and Turf (Tri-tip, Scampi, Spaghetti with meat sauce, and salad) and Happy hour is. I had a double well whiskey and coke and this amazing pile of food for $39.48. Tori, my bartender today was also polite and professional and stayed busy while offering me and the rest of the bar amazing service. I will be stopping here more often!!!

Great place with a lot of local history. It’s a huge plex, with restaurant, deli, bakery, gift shop all in one. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you get, but you won’t get anything else like this close by. I’m friends with one of the family, and he recommends getting the big Tom sandwich. I’d have to agree. They have some great ice cream selections. I haven’t tried yet. They also have baklava…Need I say more?

We stopped at Granzella's for a quick lunch on the Thursday between Christmas & NYE on a long drive south. Options along Hwy 5 are largely limited to fast food, so this was a welcome alternative! We ate at the delicatessen (rather than the sit down restaurant) which offers pretty quick counter service. They had a full menu board of sandwiches, as well as a salad option: you can turn any sammy (meat/cheese combo) into a salad with your choice of dressing. The food itself was good, but not phenomenal. My salad was large & fresh, but house-made dressing would have elevated the salad significantly, rather than pre-packaged Kraft brand.The deli area doubles as a mini specialty food store with locally produced goods, which were fun to peruse as we waited for our food order to be prepared. We didn't get a chance to walk across the street to Granzella's Gift Shop, but I'm sure we'll pass through again on a future drive south.

Granzellas in a must stop at on your trip across highway 20. They are a large part of the town and many of us are quite familiar with them. They are the Disney Land of Epicurious delights. Wines, olives, and the freshest deli meats are found here. The service is fast and professional. We tried the restaurant today with a Mediterranean Pizza which wax rich, light and tasty- the blue cheese was 🔥. The Monday special is the Prime Rib sandwich which I highly recommend. It was the most tender and juicy piece of meat I’ve had in sometime- get it. A fabulous place for date night, a driving break or to even find a special delight for the person who has it all.

If you're looking for a family style restaurant, or maybe an old school Italian deli that's hidden away in a small farming town, you have found your place, since they do a good job in both of these areas. They have become an institution in this area of California,and if you're traveling on hwy 5 and you need a bite to eat, this place is a great option, and a much better one than the basic fast food option. Pro-tip, if you want to pick up a sandwich quickly and continue down the road, call it in advance so you can be on your way. Additionally, this place was previously featured on a Diner's, Drive-ins and Dives episode, which can make it a little more fun to checkout.

Good place to stop while on the road if you want to grab a bite from their deli. If you eat at the restaurant, it’s pricier. The muffuletta was on a baguette - their version! And the chili, not my style - it’s good if you like 95%+ of the bowl to be beans. The garlic bread was the best part. The flavored slush from the coffee bar was nice too.

My kids and I came for lunch. One of my boys ordered the pizza, my other son ordered a cheeseburger, and I ordered chicken fried steak. Both my bus were very satisfied. However, I was not. My chicken friend steam was a mess. There is nothing positive to say about it. It was dry, overcooked, with thick clumpy gravy. I can say the atmosphere was great and the service was very accommodating.

Another great find. Stopped for lunch at Granzella's on our way to Yosemite. What a unique place. Store, deli, restaurant, and bar all in one place. We ate at the restaurant. I ordered the 1/2 chicken pesto flat bread, which came with a salad. Hubby ordered the 1/2 plate of spaghetti, which came with soup. He chose clam chowder, and it also came with garlic bread. I'm so glad they offered 1/2 plates as we could barely finish them. The food was very delicious, and our server was very attentive.

When it comes to food in Williams California this is the place to stop. Locals from close and far come to this local shrine. The food here was exquisite and reasonably priced for what you get. The food menu was as long and deep as the drink selection when you walk in. I highly suggest this place to all people getting off of I-5 and heading west on highway 20. #thepuddingcreektrestle

Wow! how did I make it this far in life, without stopping at this place! Amazing food, and great service! They have a full bar in the back area of the building. and a quiet dining place up front. Huge gift shop full of wine, pastries, nut, olives, honey, and much more! What a great place to stop along I-5! Huge RV and trailer parking lot! We definitely will be returning soon.

Really great place to eat! We came in after 8pm so we sat in the bar. Reasonably priced. Good service.Salad was great and had home made croutons. Ribs were really good and tender. Good flavor. Shrimp Scami was great. Side of ravioli with pesto sauce was excellent. Bread was good too. Really great environment! Lots of exhibits for 📸!Parking: Plenty of parking.

Stopped here on my way home from surgery. Was a bit busy. Nice place. Did not know it was rebuilt after burning to the ground. Waitress was great. I ordered fish n chips. I took a bite and stopped the waitress and asked if I ordered fish. She said yes. I asked why did I get chicken strips. She said it is fish and I relented. Was having a bit of fun. She said she thought maybe the anesthesia might still be working. She was great. Food was good. Will be going back. This place also has a deli if you want a sandwich and not able to sit and eat.

Loved the vibe, it feels like a gem out of nowhere. Oh the goodies! Gelato was ok, but a bit underwhelmed with the sandwich, we were expecting a hot deli sandwich but it was a cold one, may be should have mentioned? Not sure.

I’m writing this post to let everybody know that this place is very good. Food is tasty. Service is wonderful but I’m really writing because of the amount of money They charge for their prepackaged food and very unthoughtfulness in the packaging as you can see by the photos I purchased a $55 jug of olive oil and muffulettata Olives, pickled eggs and garlic well the olive oil, which is highly susceptible to leakage leaked all over the box. It was laid down sideways when I purchased it from the counter girl at the gelato counter I trusted fully that it was packaged where I would have no leakage. I am a truck driver, and I travel all over the country And buy different packages from everywhere and I’ve never had this issue. Specially, being a bottle so expensive you would think that thought would go into it not leaking like high manufactures do I’m very disappointed that I paid so much to take this oil to my family in Georgia and I’ve lost about 3 ounces of it and God knows if the air that got in it Spoils it so at this point I have a big gripe with this establishment in the packaging. Everything else was wonderful I had a big Tom sandwich which was awesome gelato was amazing with the apple pie but I’m very highly upset and I do encourage people to be careful when you purchase package goods from them and the way they pack it because you will be out a lot of money I’ve spent over 100+ dollars to transport this stuff to my family in Georgia, I do not recommend their olive oil because of the packaging don’t even know how good it is yet If you are going very far I haven’t had the chance to even taste it because it has spilled on the box I’ve gotten all over it’s been a nuisance so if the owner is reading this, I highly recommend you contact me because I’m very disappointed in your packaging again everything else was wonderful up until that point.

We had high expectations given the ratings, but the food was just fine.All the dishes were fresh. Bruschetta was delicious but pasta was bland. Jalapeño poppers were tasty but I think those were stuffed mini bell peppers.Super convenient location by Tesla superchargers. So not a bad spot to refuel your hunger.

Seating in two areas, dining and bar but bar is pretty nice. If you're into traditional American comfort food, you'll find plenty. Otherwise, not so much. Grilled salmon was fine. Half-size spaghetti and meatballs was pretty big. Tuna melt is made with dark tuna. To give you an idea on pricing, appetizer of onion rings is $14+.There's lots of shopping with a deli, cheeses, jams, honey, crackers and more. They also have a bakery and gelato. Oreo, Butterfinger and Snickers gelato were all good. Lemon and mango had that weird after taste.Vegetarian options: Very few. Minestrone soup has a beef base. Salad (ice berg lettuce base) with garlic bread, Impossible Burger, or pasta with veggies are your options.

We have heard about this place my sister and brother-in-law and mother always stop here. We were a little disappointed when we ordered the fried chicken and found out they were out of it. They said they hadn't had any in 2 weeks. So I ordered the turkey club and french fries and a small cup of their chili. The chili was good and the club sandwich was good bacon was crisp and you could tell that the tomato was fresh on sourdough I was very happy. My wife had the hamburger and salad with thousand Island we both had iced tea. Everything was good service was great lady was very nice. restaurant was nice and clean there is even a bar in the back a deli and a small place where you can buy ice cream plus a gift shop. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner here. I would definitely recommend this place if you're traveling by.

Stopped in here for lunch mid-week while visiting Colusa. The atmosphere of very unique, with a lot of mounted trophies on the walls. Not necessarily for animal lovers, but well done all the same. They also have a jukebox with a well rounded selection.We were seated right away and had water and soft drinks served quickly.My friend had the Philly Sandwich and I had the Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich. Both were well prepared and served very quickly. The server was very attentive and drinks were always topped up.This place seems to run like a well oiled machine: fast and efficient. Well worth the visit!
