Month ago my mutt got tape worms; the meds upset his tummy. As most ppl know - walking w runny #2 is dreadful for dog & parent. Called vet, researched for a month…no improvement- went to UP to get pumpkin/sensitive food. Gentlemen working asked if I was looking for specific..explained situation- he showed me pumpkin powder - I asked if I needed more..he said; “this will work in a day”. OMG he was 100% right. He has no idea how much he made both Henry and my life so much better. Every time I go in here - they are SO incredibly lovely.Note: I NEVER take time to review..but this was worth it.

Love supporting this small biz. Zach dies a great job of providing excellent products for your pet needs. The convenience of the LaBrea store is great for me. It is a smaller store and Sometimes they are not as well stocked as the Beverly store. But the staff is always happy to help you out with any stock challenges.

Everyone at this store is so helpful every time! Certain items have reward set up which is awesome. The staff are always lovely, the selection is always great, and for items I couldn’t find, they looked into order them. (Lovely ceramic pet fountain and filter refills!) I love this stores staff and the offerings they have.

What a great selection they have of treats and dog food. I love the duck hearts for my dog. It's wonderful. I like this place I definitely recommend it guys.

This is one of my favorite places to take my dog. It's so great to know that not only did my dog get a treat, but also they were taken care of. My pup loves all their treats and I'm glad we found this place!

I was attracted to this store for the amazing waterfall at the very front of the store! It is an amazing eye-catching water feature. The staff working were wonderful and did their best to find a great toy for my cat! Ask for Naomi who has amazing customer service and drew who is a big time team player.

It was New Years Eve and I wasn't sure the hours so I called to ask and spoke with Naomi. I asked if they had something to help my dog who gets scared and anxious with fireworks and she said they had a few items. When I got there Naomi was at the front and helped me find the best option for my pup. She explained my different options and how it may or may not impact my dog, using her own experiences with her pets of different sizes. She also assured me that anything that I was not satisfied with after trying, I could return. The items were not as expensive as I had anticipated and cheaper than alternatives I had found online. It was a great recommendation and my pup even got a freebie treat while we were at the store. Great experience overall!

Had never heard of Urban Pet before and decided to try this new location out. The one staff member present was very helpful and attentive without being overbearing. He came over while I was browsing to let me know if I didn't see what I was looking for, they could order it for me by request! After that, he left me to browse the store - they have a surprisingly large variety of food and treats for both cats and dogs, and a nice selection of dog toys, leashes, gear, etc. I saw several items here that I've never seen at other pet stores. If you're looking for something you haven't been able to find elsewhere, this place is worth a look! To promote the new store, at checkout, I was politely offered a free 12 month membership, which grants a small percentage off the purchase (5% if I recall?) and normally costs a yearly fee. Overall I really enjoyed shopping here and will definitely be back!

I was looking for Orijen dog food and was directed to this store. My first visit was extremely pleasant and shopping was easy. The employee at the register was helpful and friendly. Also, this location is convenient as it is only a few minutes from my gym! 👍

This is my favorite pet store in the Hollywood area! They have a great selection of hi-end cat stuff, food and treats. A good selection of cat stuff is hard to find and having one close is awesome.

They are the only place in West Hollywood where I could find the very specific food my dog needs. They have it on refill order and call me when it comes in. They also have a ton of products that can be hard to find online and a very helpful staff!

so Happy this store opened up near me. It’s alittle small but they carry great brands. Customer service is top-notch. They really go out of their way to make customers happy. Not only do they have treats for your fur babies, but also treats for adults!!

I'm so glad they opened a location within walking distance from my house. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of dog food, treats, toys and everything else you could possibly need for your dog. The location is great. Right off Santa Monica boulevard and La Brea.

Walking in, there are beautiful koi fish to greet you in this cool store. I was looking for cat food and treats, but the brands here at Urban Pet all surprised me because it’s not the stuff I see at Petco or PetSmart.. The options for food, treats, toys are not only healthy but REAL! All at a price I can’t really compare to but appreciated because I didn’t find it too expensive for what it was. Thank you, Naomi for your suggestions and taking the time to show us through the store.I’m sure i’ll be back again soon!

Walked in the store for the first time today October 11, 2019, at around 10:30-11 am. With me, I had my 18 months old son. As we walked in the store he accidentally broke a glass plate for a cat cast of $ 5.60 to $6:00. With an apology, I said, "I'm sorry my son broke one of your plates." A woman who worked that morning took a broken plate and looked at me with a facial expression of dislike and kind of "I want you to be out of here." Because she made me feel uncomfortable I offered to pay for it, she gladly stopped documenting as broken inventory and quickly took my money.Littel about me, we rescued 4 street cats and gave them our home to live. Also, we have 2 dogs. Recently we became parents of 2 boys 18-month-old and 6 months old. For those of you who might think $5 to $6 dollars is not much of money for us that money is used toward kids or animals.In addition to all I said, we are definitely not going to shop in this store in the near future just because she took my money for something that accidentally 18 months old child broke. For some readers who belive that I might have had to pay for a broken plate, I simply disagree only because of my moral process.Urban Pet store located on La Brea uses such a powerful message printed on their wall "The greatness of a nation and its moral process can be judged by the way its animals are treated."-GandhiSo my question to a reader, is this the greatness of our nation?Thank you but I do not need a receipt for a broken plate.

These people put petco to shame lol. Urban pet west has everything you'll ever need and i mean everything from a nice greeting at the door & the sells clerks are always willing to stop what your doing just to help a customers needs. 🙌 hHands up all the way!! 👍 forget petco who are always out of cat supplies, go to Urban Pet and you to will be happy you did.💆

One of the best stores with goods for animals, and this is one of the best in this chaine Urban Pet. Very nice staff. I wish this place have a Royal Canin dry food for cats. This is the only thing I have to buy in another store.
