Believe the hype...Hector is awesome!The best customer service you will find.My wife and I went in to buy dog and cat food to donate to local shelter. Not only did Hector suggest some economical yet healthy food for the animals. He was also gracious enough to help us carry it to our car.... Honestly if I could give ten stars I would!

This pet store is a jewel of the West valley. If you have pets, please shop here first before you go to the big box stores. I get my chicken feed here for much cheaper than anywhere else. The owner always makes sure he sells my daughter the smallest crickets he can sort out of the batch because she has really small toads. No one else would do this. We are customers for life!

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. The owner (Hector) even sold me my first Ball Python that I had for over 10 years. He is very knowledgeable and always answers all of my questions. Highly recommend. Its just a really great local small business that I encourage everyone to support.

I went in and bought some dirt for my gecko, everything was fine and I was chatting with the owner. I go to the register, PAID for my dirt in CASH, was given my coin change and no receipt. I talk with the owner for 2 minutes afterwards, then decided to buy some crickets. He bags my crickets and proceeds to try to charge me AGAIN for the dirt. I explain that I had literally just purchased the dirt from him 2 minutes earlier, and showed my coin change. He asked for my receipt which I never got one. We went back and forth on whether or not I bought the dirt, insisting I didn't! I offer to stay for him to count the till, or offer my phone number so he has my contact info but he refused. How do you forget that you charged me 2 minutes earlier? He made me feel very uncomfortable and I will never go back there. Make sure you ask for a receipt no matter what you buy because that man has memory issues and may accuse you of not purchasing your items. I was the only one in the store, he was the only employee working, it was not busy and there were zero distractions during our interaction.

I'm always happy to visit Hector and his shop. He helped me when I had reptiles and also helped with some quality kibble for my dogs. His reptiles are well cared for and he's got a great selection for many types of exotic pets. Good man, good local store to support

Great small neighborhood pet shop. Owned and run by Hector, a very nice guy. Always happy to talk to you and render good advice. Very knowledgeable guy. I have been buying pets and supplies from him for 10 years. He sells primarily reptiles and feeder mice as well as worms and insects. Also sells all kind of supplies and feed. Not just for reptiles but other pets including cats and dogs.

Being going there for years to buy dog food and when I bought a snake from the store owner, Hector, he helped me get set up and patiencely answered all my tedious novice questions. He even told me to call him any time with additional questions or concerns. The frozen feeder rats are the best I've ever purchased from anywhere else. Hector is extremely helpful and his prices are fair. I've had nothing but positive experiences there.

Hector is great! I would always come in to get worms and crickets for my bearded dragon. Very smart and is helpful and nice to talk to. At times the giant meal worms sometimes were not the same size. Same for crickets. But overall nice guy!
