I visited this location two days ago to adopt a kitten and the staff, ESPECIALLY Ana Carolina, were so helpful! We have never owned a cat before and she walked me through every aspect of cat ownership and helped me, very enthusiastically, pick out everything I would need. She was so great and I really enjoyed my experience. Thank you again Ana!

This place is better than the Martinez or pleasant hill petco as it has more variety than either of the other 2. If you can't find something at the other ones you most likely will find it here. They don't have much vitamins or things for your pet if they are hurt... OTC medicines etc though either but as far as food (all types of pets) beds, carriers, leashes, treats also have other pets... birds, fish, rats, they have a variety of items as well as the different pets.

For my dog supplies this spot is my go too but for my fish keeping hobby this spot is very disappointing there is always dead fish and on the occasion there wasn't any dead fish in the tank I wanted a fish out of I would get them home and they would die more times than not my tank is fully established and water is on point I Been fish keeping for decades they really should step there game up in tracy they are the only shop to buy fish in town I have to go to stockton, Hayward or San Francisco to go to a real fish keepers paradise

I bought some worms, brought them home, and found that 25 out of the 50 worms were dead. I brought back the dead worms the next day, and the associate offered me 50% off if I bought a new batch of worms.

Heads up for others with anxious dogs: Petco won't take a security blanket, toys, or treats when you drop off for grooming. They also don't take pets that have been given sedatives beforehand. Find this out day of, but gotta shout out to groomer Charli who went above and beyond to give my anxious German Shepherd the best possible experience. At pick up my dog was bathed, brushed, and smelled very fresh.

I was shopping for Proviable-DC for dogs and cats. When I compared prices between Amazon, Walmart, and Petco, Petco had the lowest price $14 something while the others were over $19. So I ordered from Petco. When I went to pick it up, I noticed the carton was much smaller than what I used before. Then when I got home I took a closer close. It was Proviable-DC all right BUT for cats only. The capsules were much smaller. I kept it because I have a cat also. The Amazon and Walmart price were probably for dogs and cats, much bigger capsules which is what I needed.

Have loved taking our dog here for years but have had a weird couple of experiences lately. Assuming it was a change of staff but got really abrupt, arrogant responses to simple questions today. Just a heads up - Instead of the usual grooming, they now kennel dry if they’re busy, at no reduction to the charge/cost and no heads up to the customer.

Zoey, our golden doodle, looks great; Our groomer is fantastic. the work is also fast. Zoey is only there for 2-1/2 hours or less and is not stored in a kennel for most of the day like other places. PetCo in Walnut Creek is our fourth groomer place in a year. we weren't satisfied with the others. The staff here is ultra-nice, friendly, accommodating. I noticed how careful staff is when handling dogs.

Great place to find what you are looking for and great costumer service! I have a baby leopard gecko I got from there, and today I went to buy food and as always the people are very nice and I had a great time looking at the animals. Great service for getting leopard gecko food and talking to the workers there, also good stock.

This Petco does have some great employees who are friendly and will do their best to tend to your needs. They sometimes have a limited stock for goldfish water filter refills. They do have birds, lizards, turtles, goldfish, other types of fish, Koi, hamsters, Guinea pigs, mice, and more. They have a wide variety of foods, toys, treats, and more for the animals. They always have parking. They do have a bathroom and have a Vet at the facility and also provide dog training as well. It’s a convenient little store. There are animals that owners bring that do walk around while they shop but are leashed which is great.

Paid for the puppy training and got canceled on twice. They don’t call you to reschedule, and it’s funny how both times their trainer Julia got sick right after a holiday. Don’t waste your time here, this is very unprofessional.

Customer service at this location is really on point. Always greeted and helped in a timely fashion. My only drawback is after two visits I noticed the same tank with dead fish stuck to the filter two days in a row. Grooming department looks clean and everyone seems knowledgeable in there respective departments.

My dog, Sandy, has been groomed at Petco in Walnut Creek for almost 4 years. They do a great job, listen to instructions, and Sandy always enjoys visiting Petco (for grooming or shopping). Unfortunately, many other people have figured out that Petco grooming is wonderful and it is taking longer to get appointment now than previously. Actually, I better go book Sandy's next visit now. :)

I went to my neighborhood pet food stop and they didn't have what I was in need of so I drove another 10 minutes to Petco. As I entered the staff was friendly and although I followed the signs I had no problem finding the isle where I found dewormer. They didn't have the syringe in that section but had other things and I decided to ask and they did have them in the puppy section. I decided to walk around and familiarize myself with the store that was twice the size of my local shop. I was really happy to see their live pet selection and grooming and vet care services. I will be going back.
