Small store but packed full of retail. Plenty of fun toys and supplies and very well organized. About 10 designated parking spaces in the lot behind the store. Only giving 4 stars bc the employees seemed grumpy. I’m from out of of town and didn’t realize the self service dog wash was by appointment when I walked in to ask about using the services. The older woman gave me the information but didn’t seem thrilled that she had to educate me. The 2 younger employees never said hello and just stared as I walked around the store looking at the retail.

It's a cute location. I did prefer their last store. I don't really go here except for once in a blue moon. They are fairly pricey and don't usually have what I'm looking for.

This place and Sailor’s is where I get all of my puppy treats and food. The fact that they have a points/rewards system is a wonderful incentive as well!Super friendly staff. They are always stocked with what you need, and will give you a call if you ever want to be aware of anything that is restocked that you have been waiting for. Absolutely love this place.

Ventura Pet Barn is great! My lab puppy enjoys the variety of natural things I can get for her to chew on. They have a good selection of food, toys, collars, leashesself serve bath and more.It is fast to get in and out as well.

Staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Absolutely love the private bathing room! 2 dogs + 1 hour = $22I have a beagle and a wheaten terrier/poodle that both get anxious around other dogs, so having a private bathing room (with actual warm water) is game changing. They ask you for shampoo preferences and place a bottle of shampoo as well as a bottle of conditioner on the table for use. Really cool place

The short skinny older balding guy who has worked there for over 20 years is very good at what he does. He is exceptional at grooming dogs, selling dog things, petting dogs, carrying dog things to customers cars, complimenting dogs, ringing things up for your dog with a cash register, and he answers the phone well.He really makes a job a robot could do look easy.

One of the best places to get good quality food & toys for your pets Imin Ventura County. Staff is awesome & the vibe is very welcoming & doesn't have that generic chain store feel. Staff is a wonderful resource for help with picky eaters or special diets, even offering samples. I don't get my cats' food anywhere else.

The Pet Barn is amazing. They've got lots of awesome choices for your animal, they care about bringing in good quality foods and toys, and it all goes to benefit a great organization as well. The prices are really good and the staff is incredibly helpful if you have any questions. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who owns a cat, dog, or anything else to come here. They've got a great selection for the size and even offer a pet washing station and do adoptions in store for animals that need homes.

This store is the best! The staff is amazing and they are so helpful. Whether you are going in for toys or a harness, or if you need to switch your pets diet, they are able to help answer your questions. If they don't know the answer, they will certainly help get you an answer. They are so sweet and loving to each fur baby that comes in. It's a comfortable family environment. We love going there almost as much as our puppy Divya loves going there 😊💜

When we adopted our puppy last year, we went looking for a place to buy her natural, healthy food and supplies. We choose Pet Barn because I had experience with them in the past... and they are still a good choice! They carry a wide selection of the best foods, treats, supplies, accessories and toys. The staff seems knowledgeable and always helpful, which we appreciate because there are so many choices! Pet Barn also welcomes our doggie and she always looks forward to a visit! This store also works closely with a few local rescues... and we like to support their effort.

The shopping district was fantastic! My Kate Spade wallet arrived from New York! Because they had every color I wanted, I was able to choose the best pack. There was a lot of lovely clothing on the premises as well. I brought a new pair of shoes with me.

Friendly people, great selection of food and pet supplies. It is a little pricey, but the quality is good. The staff is very helpful when buying new harnesses, etc. They help you figure out how they work, and find the best fit for your pet.

This is a great place to buy all your pet food, toys and supplies. The owner is very conscientious about providing great quality for your beloved companions. Plus she happens to be real nice as well. All the employees who work there do a fabulous job, they are caring and you can tell they love what they do. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I can find it there.

I only shop here for all my dogs needs, food, clothes, leash, CBD, etc. Way better than Petco, they have high quality stuff at low prices. The staff is so down to earth and are all extremely knowledgeable. It's more holistic of a shop and they have something for everything. Plus, my dog loves going there!

It has better choices of pet food but staff is not well trained and are not helpful other than greeting you. It's so important to have a well educated team who shows excitement for what they are doing. This team is just there to get a paycheck unfortunately.

I recently purchased Advantage II, a flea control medicine, for my dog. 2 days after the initial application I noticed several fleas on my pet. She spent the night scratching, in obvious distress. The next day I applied a second treatment with no discernable difference in her condition. Since The Pet Barn isn't a licensed veterinary clinic, Bayer would not honor the product guarantee.I returned the product to Pet Barn where I was told no refunds we're available for flea medicine. No effort was made to help remedy the situation and I was told the manager wasn't available for comment.I was surprised and disappointed that Pet Barn handled this situation as they did and do not recommend purchasing flea medicine here, as they do not stand behind the product.
