Dropped off my dog on a Friday and picked her up Sunday. She had a great time and came back acting very relaxed. I had no anxiety about dropping her off. Everyone there were very kind and informative.

Blue Ribbon Pets is exactly what your dog needs. It is a daycare and overnight kennel. They are kind and personable. I have kept my small dog overnight many times. The staff is knowledgeable and your pet is safe. They offer other services such as nail trimming and baths. Truly a great place.

They are great here! My dog detested getting her nails trimmed in any way. They were patient enough to take her and spend the time she needed to get her nails done. They also gave us home recommendations to make the visits easier for her. She's made a lot of progress in the few visits we've had. So thankful for the team at blue ribbon!!

I’m not sure if they have a new groomer but my one dog looks, and smells, awful! I’m pretty sure they did not even give him a bath. His face is dirty and he smells like baby wipes. His hair on his face is crooked. I asked them to shave my other dogs bottom, and they did not. In addition, it cost $240 for both dogs before tip. Both dogs are under 20 lbs and they were last at this groomer 3 months ago. Last time I was very happy with the outcome. I’m not sure what happened this time, but it is awful. I’m very disappointed because I had been so happy with them in the past. I didn’t expect this. The picture below is 15 minutes after leaving the groomer. They also did not trim his toenails.

I spoke with Kelly on the phone even tho she wasn’t able to take my 2 cats she gave me all the information to a flea free life I’m truly impressed thank you Kelly!

Horrible experience. HORRIBLE. The owner Kelly Boesel is very unprofessional. I was trying to board my cats there in an emergency but she refused my business screamed at me that ihad shorted her brother on a job he did for me. I asked her who her brother was because I have never shorted anyone in my life on any job, even bad jobs, She told me Pest Control. I never had any pest control done at either of my houses. Then she said, "you look like a person who is going to dump there pets on me".!!!!OMG this woman was so rude and stupid. I offered to give her any amount of deposit that she wanted to feel safe about me dumping pets on her. Any amount and I also told her to call my Veterinarian Dr, Charlotte Burns who has known me for years and knows that I rescue kitties, I do not dump them. Everyone at Mendocino Animal Hospital knows me and would have given her a thumps up recommendation about me. But Kelly Bosses would not make the call. Instead she refused to board my 3 kitties leaving me stranded in a medical emergency that required me to get to SF as soon as I could.I ended up calling Charlotte Burns, my vet. Though they do not do commercial boarding at MAH, she took my kitties in, thank goodness. Love Doc Burns, Love her.Huge thumbs down on Blue Ribbon Pets and owner Kelly Boesel.

When I worked here as a kennel attendant in 2009 and owners didn't provide food I was instructed to feed them SIGNIFICANTLY less than they should have eaten and was told "all these dogs are fatties and could stand to lose a few pounds anyway".If they spilled their water more than a few times I was told not to give them water and that they could drink when they were outside (three times a day, to potty).I was also reprimanded for spending any time with them or giving them attention/affection while moving them from the kennel to the yard and was eventually fired for all of these disagreements, as well as refusing to medicate with acepromazine that wasn't prescribed to the dogs I was told to give it to BECAUSE THEY WERE BARKING *excessively*.Several other kennel attendants were fired during my time there for similar issues.I will NEVER board my animals, anywhere because of my experience working at this facility.

Tried them for the first time and the first thing I noticed was the attention they paid to the animals. My Max was not so anxious about being left behind. Then when I picked him up I could tell that he had been well cared for. He also looked amazing, he has never looked so good after a visit to the doggie spa. In short I am extremely satisfied and Max will be back and he will never go to another groomerTHANK YOU Blue Ribbon Pets for taking such good care of my boy.

These guys are great. I've been taking my 11 year old Luna to this spot and they are great! Very attentive to specific dogs needs for boarding and grooming with competitive prices. Do yourself a favor and take your furry friend to blue ribbon pets.

It was a five-star experience at Blue Ribbon. They're very kind, quick to answer questions pertaining to the business. haircut Nails shampooing all the things that dogs get . In the a perfect timing Manor. I'm was very please . It is going to be my dog's second home.Plus they have a kennel for the times you go on vacation. A nice safe place for your dog and will not have to worry about a thing.very nice employees that show you they care.Thanks Blue Ribbon! 🐕

We boarded our puppy for the first time and chose Blue Ribbon Pets because of excellent word of mouth reviews and we were not disappointed. Kelly has a great understanding of how stressful it can be for a dog to be boarded for the dogs and the humans and puts both at ease. Kelly and the whole staff tailored the experience to his individual needs and they all did a great job. We will definitely board our dog here in the future. A great place to board if you are in Northern California and going to the city. It's a nice out-of-the way location with a farm-style feel (goats, horses, farm cats, etc. nearby, but obviously kept separate from the dogs. They have a cattery too, and if I needed to board my cats, this would be the first choice.

I took Teddy in today for his first grooming after adopting him a little over a week ago from the Mendocino Shelter. They did an AMAZING job! He is so clean and soft! He was obviously pampered and loved, because he loves attention. We was delighted to see me, yet comfortable with the staff. Thank you, thank you!

I've used Blue Ribbon Pets for boarding and nail trimming for our three Chihuahua boys, and we always receive professional, and caring service. The place is clean, and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone in need of someone to care for their beloved furry family members.

My dog as well taken care of and got to play with other dogs. They gave her medicine and fed her the special food I brought in the correct portions. My pooch was happy and calm when I came to get her. I would do this again. It's not too expensive for the security of knowing your pet is well cared for.

My geriatric dog likes to stay here. In the past after staying at other kennels, she would cry and whine all the way home. After staying at Blue Ribbon she is of course happy to see me, but she doesn't cry on the way home. Their love for animals is apparent.

We took our dog to be groomed. She walked in and when my husband went to get her she could not walk. He had to carry her out. So think hard before you take you dog there.

First and only time!!! Our poor dog was there for two nights and they returned him with very serious eye injury and tried to play it off as dirt in his eye......A $300.00 vet bill later.....
