Many name brands items from kitchen wear to groceries. I get my table cloths covers for my special occasions and my decorations for a fraction of the price from supermarkets. This location has plenty of free parking space and many other stores located in this shopping center.

Shahanna, one of the cashiers is really rude and impolite. I asked to change a bill she gave me in my change and she made these awfully disgusting face and told me that I had to wait until she finished with the whole line after me.

I really like this 99 Cent store! It's big, in my opinion, clean, organized, and a large variety of items., From canned, frozen & fresh vegetables., To greeting cards, health & beauty, picture frames, office supplies, kitchen utensils, automotive & clothes too! 🙆‍♀️ and they had several racks outside of plants & flowers! It's an all in one, one stop shopping experience! Tty it you'll like it! 👍

What a joke. While I am being followed around the store like a convicted or potential thief,( & I've been here 100 times & NEVER stolen anything! Why? Because I'm not a thief! But anyone who looks different than the status quo's "norm" must be, should be or could be!)Anyways...while I'm being stalked by the cashiers on a floor patrol break..... a bonafide real Thief (who BTW, DIDNT look like a thief at all!) skipped past us and out the entrance with a entire shopping cart full of goods! Ha! I hate to say it AGAIN for the 1000th time. Never judge a book ...Yahda Yahda yahda & BOOM!! SORRY BOUT YOUR LUCK 99 cents & Only way OVER! ( cuz nothing's 99 Cents anymore!!! (**CAN ANYONE SAY FALSE ADVERTISING!?!?!***)

This store shares a parking lot with a CVS next door. Well today was not a good day for me because a shopping cart from the 99 cent store hit my car. Severely scratching my mirror and driver's door. You can tell that carts are not frequently collected. Shoppers beware. You might park farther than other drivers but it's very likely you will suffer damage to your vehicle by rogue shopping carts. Let this be a warning. A quick trip to the store was not worth this aggravation.*Edit one month later and going back and forth with emails with no solution in sight. Customer service is sorely lacking. Admit your mistakes, create a way to fix the issue and move forward.*

So today I went to the 99 cents store and I am usually apprehensive about going to the one in Sun Valley because there was a woman who used to work there that was very rude to me. To my surprise I actually had a good experience this time and the new cashier named Oscar was very friendly and polite. He even bagged my groceries. I'm glad to see that there have been some changes made with some of the old employees. I wouldn't mind shopping here again.

I found new items that I really like. This 99Cents Store usually is better stocked than some of the others around this area. This seems to be the only 99Cents Store that keeps the Low Sodium version of the David brand Sunflower Seeds that I crave.

Usually when customers are upset they contact the manager and the manager should find a solution to please clients. However the chick at this store who's supposed to be the manager and keep clients happy, insults clients and drives them away.I had to wait 30min in line yesterday with my 4year old twins, we were all wearing masks and complilying with store protocols. There were 2 ppl infornt of me in line waiting right on the door step and after they went in I took their place and the old woman shook her hand and told me don't come in and wait your turn. I told her I wasn't getting in I was waiting at the same spot the ppl before me were waiting. She said you need to step back. I took one step back. She said go back more the door needs to close(it wasn't closed at all the whole time I was in line)I said I am away from the door(if I went backwards more steps I would be so close to the person behind me.)After that, 2 persons got out and it was my turn to go in, she came out turned around me and asked for 2 persons behind me to go in. those people were kind enough to tell her it's my turn and they stood still, then she asked for a couple standing behind them to go in, she was trying to literally find anyone who would accept to cut the line and go in instead of me .I said seriously? It's my turn. She said oh I thought you said you're not coming in and just waiting by the door in a mean rude way. Why would someone wait in line by the door????I said no I was waiting in line waiting my turn, she said you can't come in.I asked for a manager. She yelled at me and pointed to herself saying I'm the manager. I said who's your supervisor she yelled at me and said there is no one you have to deal with me. I felt so insulted being yelled at in front of my kids and that whole line of people looking at me. I was a regular customer there I go shopping weekly and do all my groceries and everytime my bill is over $100Is this how they respect clients.I wonder who chose to place this person as a manager when she is driving all clients away. I know how nice the cashiers are they should replace her.I have called and filed a complaint to customer service. I hope they'll take an action.UPDATE: I urge everyone to go to Sherman Way location which is like 5min away. Way bigger , more items and of course much more nicer and they appreciate clients. They literally have someone on the front door thanking clients for shopping there.Based on the response I got I know now who wrote it. I have filed my complaint and you'll receive the notice soon.I will also post this on social media

Incredibly unhelpful employee's they are rude unhappy and seem very judgemental they profile my husband who dresses "unconventional" even though we go in there once a week. I avoid it now because of it. Between the rude employees messy store and small selection, it's my last resort when I can't go else where. I am not alone on this opinion 3 different shoppers have actually commented out loud about how rude they are while I've been shopping even had a fellow shopper shocked by how rude the cashier was to me and very taken aback .

The sun valley location is by far my favorite 99 cent store. The shelves are always stocked and full of variety. This 99 cent store also has a huge parking lot available. My family and I frequent this location weekly. Tuesday seem to be the day that they restock and best day to visit!!

Dear 99, I am a stay at home mother with alot of time on her hands. This year I am growing as much produce as I can in my back yard to donate to church drives. There are Many hungry people in my area struggling to put food on their tables. I can't stand by and do nothing. Thanks to your store and low prices I've been able to get Many supplies, such as pots, small border fences and many other useful containers. To be honest, I am not rich . I struggle with money as well. If it was not for your store, there would be no way I could achieve my goal . Please if you can, continue to get garden items. Everything you can think of because I Promise you,I will be there weekly . Help me help a few struggling families. For anyone that reads this, Just one last thing... Plant a seed, feed a family. It is Just that simple.

This place is like a home to me and everyone there is so nice even the homeless people outside of the store. I recommend you go here because it inspires you to do great things for the communitty while making you believe that us poor people still have hope in today's society. Store is clean and complies with health dept. covid pandemic protocol limiting the number of customers inside the store at a time. Employees are polite and helpful. Produce are mostly in good quality.

kinda hard to find but when you do it's great! lots of rows of STUFF!!! when i'm in the area, i always stop here. WORD OF CAUTION ... BE CAREFUL IN THE PARKING LOT (not in the store, it's great in there)... as i was leaving one day, some dudes were doing donuts in the parking lot and another person hit someone's car... also same time, as i left the parking lot there was a big 3 car accident at the exit on the street...

This specific location does not care about social distancing. They will literally start ringing up the next customer before you even have time to grab your purchased items. This is a problem because it actively allows the customer behind get too close because they need to pay. This has happened on multiple locations with different cashier's.

Love this location its on my route for work and easy to locate. They have a good selection in refrigerated goods such as eggs milk and freezer goods aswell as produce. Just wish i can find one like this closer to my home like this.

This location is pretty well stocked and looks a lot cleaner than other locations, but It always has ridiculously long lines, even before the pandemic started. They need to have more cashiers!!!

They have a lot of products even name brand, and its clean. This is one of the nicest 99 cents stores I've been to in the valley most are dirty, and a bunch of stuff on the aisle floor. The staff is friendly to.
