Organized some items for pick-up today. Went home and discovered the baguette that was in the order is 5 days past the best by date. I'm not a stickler for expiry dates but the baguettes were both covered in mold. Do better, Target!

Huge department store. Clean. Didn't get through the whole store but found what I needed quickly. Grocery section has a good variety of food and prices are reasonable.

A very small Target compared to the La Mesa and Lemon Grove locations. They did have a lot of shelves that were not stocked in the food sections and home sections. I believe this could be due due it being a new store. So if your wanting a target run, the other locations could be more helpful. This Target is great for quick basic pick ups.

I had the worse customer experience today. I order one item yesterday afternoon for order pick up. You figure if you order it yesterday and it was only one item that it wouldn't take too long to process the order. I showed up this morning at 8:30 because I was out doing my shopping. I go to the front counter and can see the item in the Cart. I informed the young lady at the register and she told me. That I have to wait that they have to process each one in order. I explained to her that it was a single item and I am here now. She told me I would have to wait that they still have 55 minutes to get them done. Of course this is why I don't use this service. I went to the back and of course this would be the last one they have so now I am just standing up at the front of the store having customers ask if I work here while I am waiting for one item.

Target is great for quick trips. You can purchase household supplies as well as personal items. However, the prices of many items have risen substantially, so it's not a place for the best bargains.

They need to improve in their customer service . This target has a lot of improving to do starting with the rude manager who can barely understand English . I ordered online and the item was defective but the manager refused to swap the item and said it’s not her problem. Target was my fav store but not any more !

Tried to return kids clothes and they told me I couldn’t because it wasn’t in the system when clearly I saw it on one of the racks. I didn’t expect my money back since I didn’t have a receipt however store credit would’ve been fine but no they didn’t take it and told me policy is…. I said ok, went to a different Target and guess what they gave me no issues. This Target doesn’t like you to return anything. Same thing happened to my friend. Don’t waste your time trying to do a return here!

I had an online pick up order here & when I clicked for directions it sent me to the target off Jamacha in EL CAJON. I’m like, no biggie I’ll just go to the right one. I drive to the spring valley location and once I get there , there’s no one outside at drive up . So I call their number, no one answers at guest services. So I call another department and they answer. They assure me that they will contact someone for drive up.I’ve been here 15 minutes , no one’s come outside and there’s cars filling up the drive up spots . It’s cool to have a target here but c’mon spring valley target. Get it together .

Very clean, stocked, and wasn't crowded (around 1-3p). Took my 1yr toddler and allowed her to walk around since it looked so clean and it was spacious. It was nicely stocked so I was able to finally try out some new snacks I've been wanting. They were always out/low number of choices at other Targets.This will be my new go-to Target location. Plus it has Ross, DDs Discount, and Smart n Final right next door so I could do so much shopping without having to make multiple car ride trips with my toddler.

I’m happy that Spring Valley has a local Target, but if you can avoid coming here to make a return I would HIGHLY suggest it. I don’t believe everyone at this location is unhelpful because Thania the manager/or floor lead on duty was actually informative. However, the specific Target employee I originally dealt with, Cene, wasn’t unknowledgeable about online returns and her customer service was nonexistent. I understand people have off days, but that didn’t seem like the case in this situation. She was nice when speaking with her fellow coworkers, but when it came to trying to assist me, it was attitude central.This location isn’t the biggest and might not receive all the same merchandise as other Targets, but if all you need to do is pick something up and it doesn’t require having to interact with anyone who works here, I say go for it!(Had to add an extra star just for the fact that I’m rooting for Spring Valley. We deserve nice things here!)

This Target is going downhill. Shopping carts everywhere in the parking lot, clothes section looks like a bomb went off, the people that come here are rude and openly cuss around children, store never seems manned (check out) and the bathrooms are horrendous! I drive past the store and go to bonita or lemon grove. It's mostly the area/people bringing this store down unfortunately 😕

This Target never has cashier manned checkout lines in use. There are always multiple employees around the store, however only the self checkout lanes are available. It seems as if this store’s management is lax on it’s s employee as they are not very friendly and some seem irritated when you ask questions. Just going to head out to the Grossmont Target from now on.

They don’t take WIC fyi or so I was told.Limited on items, better off going to a bigger store. Not enough cashiers they only use self checkout most of the time even when it’s a full cart of over 20 items.

Please be aware that this store essentially offers 100% of the price at 50% of the service. When you go to this store you should keep in mind that this is an outlet. You must use self-check out ( a problem if you are elderly or if you need extra help). You need to be prepared to wait in a long line as you wait for a single overworked employee to wipe down one of the 4 self check-out stands. I addition, supplies often do not make it to the store. It is not uncommon for shipments not to be delivered all. If you really need something, you might consider calling ahead to check for availability or just driving to another store where you chances will be greater -- maybe north of 8.

Just off the HWY. Easy parking in large lot. Had what I was looking for at good prices. Clean store with lots of shopping carts. But NO Pharmacy! Friendly, professional staff.

Driving by today, saw the ribbon cutting ceremony & thought, great! They are open! I parked & walked in & was told no- can’t come in, have to wait till Sunday. So I said, ok- must be a private opening for employees & families. Left to another store, and on my way home noticed it was still packed! Drove by & asked someone walking out of store & was told it was open!!??Frustrated, I tried again & this time was told yes, it’s open now- but the store closes in 10 mins!So! My son & I walked around & it IS Beautiful inside! Very Excited to have Target down the street, but what a disappointing first impression 👎🏻

Bought $50 iTunes card and it was already redeemed by the time I got home. Target and Apple are useless to get any help with the issue, so it just perpetuates. Even when trying to explain to them that their gift cards, unsecured on racks (or in the supply chain), can be tampered with by opening them, especially the "envelope" style iTunes cards, where a slip of paper inside contains the code. Once someone gets the code, they replace the gift card on the rack, and can run a computer program or script that periodically attempts to redeem the card. Once you purchase the card it gets activated, at some point before you can redeem it, the scammer's script runs and redeems it before you. Target says too bad, it was activated and this is not possible. Apple says too bad, the funds were already placed in a different account. And the scam continues, you can confirm this is happening to others by a simple Google search. Shop here if you must, but I will never buy another gift card here.

I love this store. It is in the middle of spring valley that has nothing. If you want to go to target you have to drive there (college, Grossmont, Rancho).Although this store is smaller that the other, this is one of their smaller ones for a reason. They have the necessities. If you feel like shopping for clothes, furniture or more bigger items go to a bigger Target.It's clean and organized.

Unlike Walmart I don't have to walk all around the store to find something but at Target I know exactly where it's at I can always find what I want one there .this was not very big Target but does have a lot of stuff I'm looking for.I love Target it's one of my favorite stores go to it's a little expensive but it's worth it!!

First they would not answer the phone when I tried calling, then when I arrived rosalie said I could have called ahead to place my order for an Xbox series s. she wasn’t very polite either and lied to me about making a phone order. Angel came by and further clarified that consoles are only for sale online regardless of the sign that says it’s for Xbox series x and PlayStation 5 only. Due to COVID they no longer sell games consoles in store, but sell everything else under the sun. Some times things don’t make sense like this target and Rosalie. Angel also said that in the last 3 years he’s worked here that all console sales are done online when this didn’t happen a year ago when I bought my PlayStation from the same exact target. Angel said that some employees sell the consoles to in store customers when they shouldn’t and that is the reason the website said they had 5 in stock for store pickup when in reality they didn’t have any.

Just cuz we're in a PANDEMIC Doesn't mean WE shouldn't get "GRT Customer Service". As a Manager part of your Job is to Handle and Rectify Problems in a "Courteous Manner". As well as you Get paid A Higher Salary for that Position.Your Manager NANCY in your Sweetwater Road Store has NO Business Being a "MANAGER" letAlone being an "EMPLOYEE". Her"Customer Service" was "QUITE APPAULING". After I Explained mySituation She said she Couldn't HELPME because it was an Online Order.I told her she NEEDED to call them up and She "Interrupted Me" and said You're NOT going to tell me What To Do, I then asked her What her Name was she replied "NANCY" I Asked her if she could Write it Down Since I DIDN'T have a Pen. And her "REPLY" was "NO" you can Write it Down "YOURSELF", as She came out from Behind the Counter, she goes on to Say She's trying to "Help Me"and that I Don't Need to Talk to Her like That, and She "Walked" Away.What Part of "ANY" Of That is "PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS".If I were her "BOSS" I Would Have "FIRED" Her "IMMEDIATELY".She could have DONE something About it. Meaning if she WOULDN'T have CUT Me Off She Would Have Heard What I Was "Suggesting" As Someone who has been in "Customer Service" nearly 35 YRS. Which Was to Contact Online and Explain The Situation And Ask Them How They Could HELP Me To RectifyThe "PROBLEM".I Will "NEVER" Shop There "EVER" Again

Needed something that was locked behind glass in eectronics so i looked for help in the surrounding aisles but didn't find anyone so i went to the service desk to get help. They said they'd send someone to help so i waited for 5 minutes before just leaving and ordering what i needed online
