Just found the best spot in Tahoe. We have been bumming around checking out the shops and the majority our the basic tourist trap stuff- which we dig.And then we found this spot. Everything inside is home made crafts, from local people. The freaking detail in the wood work, soaps, ornaments, it's ridiculous. Feeling overwhelmed, Jason took the time to guide us through all our questions, and point us in some directions from getting to know us. Glad we shopped here before spending cash in the other spots!

Such a cool and unique shop! Definitely worth checking out! There are a ton of different 3D maps of lakes and bodies of water from all over the world. The items are a little pricy, but you are supporting local artists. The staff are really friendly and helpful too!

On Tahoe Time is my favorite store at the Heavenly Village Shops. Offering unique artwork selected from around the world, it is a great place to find a special gift or enhance your home decor. From vintage to 3d art they have a large selection to choose from. I just purchased a large coffee mug emblazoned with a Van Gough painting.

We stumbled upon this beautiful shop before hitting up Base Camp Pizza! So, so glad we did. We didn't know what we were looking forward, but we love adding to our gallery wall at home. They have a variety of art, ranging from, mountain ranges, lakes, rivers, and cities. After we found what we liked we began talking to Coral. Coral was fantastic!!! She showed us all around the store and telling us how we could make things more customizable if we wanted too. She was extremely helpful, so friendly, and very knowledge about all the art in the store. Definitely would recommend - thank you Coral for an awesome experience!!! :)

Such a cute art shop in Heavenly. Their wooden maps of Tahoe and surrounding attractions/structures are unique and beautiful- couldn't walk out of the store without one! I constantly get compliments on the 3-D wooden map of Tahoe when I have guests over. Aside from the maps, there is a large variety of unique pieces by local artists. Will be returning the next time I am in town!

I purchased a lake relief map/carving for a special occasion for a relative. I searched a lot of places on line and based on a couple of personal preferences and also the location of this lake I took a chance with On Tahoe Time after months of trying to decide which company to purchase from.Well it has arrived, early, and is exactly what I had hoped for and more (but could not really tell from online photos). Beautiful craftsmanship, great labels of roads and depths of the lake. I did buy the 11x14 size its the smallest one that actually shows the various depths, which was important to me. I also got the cherry frame finish which I thought might be darker but looked light on the website and it is close to the matting color and I like that so that "fades into the background" and the lake it self stands out. I also was a bit hesitant because this version IS very sort of turquoise forward and other places do something more green. But that color is also a fav of the person I got it for, and it is beautiful.And finally this site was somewhat cheaper than others. I don't mind paying more for small business and crafts-people, but actually not knowing what it would look like in person or my relative would like it, felt more comfortable with the price. I totally recommend this place and this idea as a gift. The recipient was so very surprised this idea even existed.

Beautiful goods! The cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They had these bars of soap that smell amazing and look so beautiful! Great place for higher end souveniers, but still affordable.

A custom design was requested as a birthday gift however once the proof was sent over the quality was far below what was expected. A request to cancel the order was submitted and had to be followed up with to get processed. They have refused to issue a refund for the $45 "design fee" to digitally plop a small house on a map. Beware there is no verbiage on the website about canceling orders prior to design approval or the fees they impose for poor quality designs.

I absolutely enjoyed visiting this store. We were immediately greeted by someone who was very friendly. She took us around the store and showed us the work of several local artists that are for sale in the store. For the quality of this hand crafted art, the pricing was really good and fair. The art work was fun to look at and I plan in the near future to order some of the work on display here to gift to family or display in our own home. Be sure to stop in if you're nearby, this store really celebrates the Lake Tahoe culture.

This store is a must when shopping around Heavenly! Their curated art pieces are really fun and unique. We went in hoping to discuss a custom wood working piece, and lo and behold - Kate scoured the back room and found EXACTLY what we were looking for! We were able to take it home, although they do offer shipping. Kate was quick and attentive and wonderful to work with, thank you!

First let me start with an apology because I did not get the Manager's name. To her, I give the greatest gratiitude for being one of the good one's out there. I had an issue (not of the stores doing) to inquire about an item being turned into the store after me leaving it at a table and walking away from it. I had hoped that maybe someone turned it in. Nope! She made my day by making my mistake not a problem anymore. I made an effort to do right by the store but she insisted that it was ok. My greatest of THANKS to her. You made my day great and my son will be happy that the mistake was corrected and he will still have what he wanted. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

A short story on why this place is great. Went to tahoe for our 10 year anniversary. The only souvenir we bought was from this store, a momento for our first solo trip in over a decade. After about a week being home our dog chewed it up . As a gift idea i decided to try and get another. I contacted the store, they were super friendly and sympathetic to my story, got in contact with the artist and were able to get me my replacement. My wife was over the moon with the gift!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Cant wait to visit again and buy on our next anniversary trip. 😁

Visited the store on a trip to Tahoe a few months ago and then called to order a beautiful wood map of a lake in my home state. The owner was beyond helpful and told me I would see an email about shipping in 3-4 weeks and to call and follow up if I have not. I called after a month and not helpful gentleman just told me to call back at 6 weeks. Didn't offer to look at my order or give me an update. He also implied that I made up the information the owner had given me, which I did not appreciate. The store and owner are great, but disappointed by the customer service when I have already spent a good amount of money on custom artwork.

The items they display in the store are beautiful. They had to order the piece I picked out from the artist as it was out of stock in the size I wanted. I asked how long it would take and they said 4 weeks. So I will have long before Christmas? Absolutely. That was the response on Oct 13, when I visited the store. Here it is Dec. 16 and my order was never submitted to the artist, until Nov 6. Still more then 4 weeks ago. My first phone call trying to locate it was on Nov 23. I now believe, that was the date my order actually was found and sent to the artist as now they are hoping it will ship next week, hmmm. Dec 21 or so. I will not have it for Christmas and there is nothing the store will do. I asked if they one that is in the store could be sent and was not answered. So, if you go there, take it with you. The follow up on orders is nil and they are not helpful in solutions, even though it was their mistake (not mine, nor the artists).

Had a real great salesperson sell me an absolute fantastic masterpiece of the Great Lakes. Even though I changed my mind on the piece the sales person and store made a quick change for me and had one shipped right to my home in Vegas. This shop has incredible wood engraved crafts that for sure you want to buy. All the souvenirs are very detailed and amazing. It's really hard to exit this shop without buying something. Perfect for high quality gifts. highly recommended.

This store did not honor time of shipping. They did not show any customer service after taking payment. Do not pay for anything you need on a certain time!I know that many items are delayed in shipping now, but this was not what I Experienced. Complete indifference.I would rather have my money back and it is a large sum of money to me.

An excellent source for local/ regional artists...The interior,and most notably,the new expansionwith its “ open yet separate” layout,is a journey through retro and topographic art,and an insight to this magical area...The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable-more like guides than sales people...The “Sister” store,Sealed With A Kiss(SWAK),is a Women’s boutique clothing/jewelry/accessories,and was also represented in the form of a discount there based on the amount of your purchase from On Tahoe Time...This store is definitely an experience...a Memory Maker...Awesome,like Diane!

We were close to passing this store when the 3D maps caught our eyes. Weeks ago I told my wife I wanted a wooden 3D map of GTA 5 seemingly at random. Guess what was at the store? A 3D wooden map of Los Santos! Diane helped us out tremendously and I couldn’t pass the opportunity! This is a must go for any one interested in decorative maps with different locations.
