I witnessed Christie be extremely rude, disrespectful and belittling to an elder veteran. It was such outrageous behavior I stood up to her since he was too humble to do it himself.Christie took forever to help the really long line of customers and was rude to most when they had to talk to her.I would fire her yesterday. She's a tumor to this business. Worst person I've ever encountered in my travels. She is a disgrace, to say the least.I will always talk about how terrible this place because of Christie. I'll advise anyone in the area to not stop here, because of Christie.

If you’re buying lotto tickets, make sure you bring cash. Their atm is not working and they don’t bother to fix it. They don’t accept debit or cards even if you buy their merchandise. The store clerk chit chats with their friends in the store and doesn’t care if there’s a long line. She’s too comfortable as if she’s she’s not on the clock.

I thought this was just a little gas station but once you walk inside its a shoppers DREAM! So many different stones and accessories. Lots of canned and jarred goods

I've come to this store quite a few times over past few years. You can find some very unique items there. They have simple essentials and snacks, beverages,and sell Lotto. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

Everyone who works there is very nice. We drive in once a week for scratchers and the gentleman behind the counter on Sundays is so nice and is always in a good mood (even when ticket sales have people lined up for hours). The store itself has a nice variety of items for purchase, including little carved rocks that my kids have to buy every time we go out there 😀.

You don't come here for the gas prices. However, the staff and all the stuff in the store is really cool! Cold sodas? Absolutely. Water? Absolutely. You want to add your mineral collection like as in rocks? This is the place. A lot of handcrafted goodies and snacks to go.

Exercise extreme caution when attempting to buy lottery tickets from Charles Brown Market. I attempted to call them numerous times before visiting to verify when ticket sales would end, but they don’t answer their telephone. I then drove 80 miles from Las Vegas, arriving before 4 p.m. They’re supposed to be open until 6 p.m. The line for lottery tickets was small in comparison to what’s typical at Primm, probably 30 people. When my spouse attempted to get in line an employee told her that he wasn’t allowing any further lottery customers for the day. Don’t waste your time driving to this business from Las Vegas, they don’t value you as a customer. Go to Primm, or better yet, Baker, which has numerous lottery retailers and very small lines.

Very friendly nice lady at the cash registry. Such a cool store with some amazing minerals! We couldn't help but purchase a few of them to remember this place. Also clean toilets! Thank you for everything.

I went from Vegas to buy some lottery tickets and it was still 2 hours before the store closed.their were only like 20 people in line. When my friend and myself went to get in line I felt like the security was racist and turned us away she said that they weren't going to sale anymore lotto tickets for that day. And the reason I'm saying this is because all the people in line were white. So I suggest to all minority people like myself not to even stop at that store.👎👎

Went to buy Lotto tickets but the line was too long to wait in the hot sun so we skipped it. Did not have any of the winning numbers so we were happy for choosing to leave instead of wasting over 3 hours to get inside. We estimated the line moved 10 feet every 20 minutes so it would have taken about 3 hours just to get to the door. Who knows what the wait was inside.

This place offers a wide variety of items for travelers to shop from drinks and snacks to souvenirs and lotto tickets. I rated 4 stars because the store is a great place to stop along a very long highway but the prices can be a bit high for some items. Take into account the location when comparing those prices. Fuel is also above the average cost of other towns but if your limited on how far you can go on a tank of gas then this is an excellent opportunity to stretch your legs, get a snack, and top off your tank.

Shoshone Village is a privately owned property located at the southeastern entrance to Death Valley National Park. The store is part of the complex and features gas, water, and an assortment of essentials and souvenirs. Everything seems to be family run with friendly and helpful service. Yes, the prices are high but it's the only lifeline for miles around so be grateful that it exists at all...

Always love coming here for lottery tickets . Browse the store for unique items like Indian jewelry , soaps and lotions , books artisan crafts . You can also find many grocery items and camping stuff . Great nostalgic store .

I love this little store. Everyone is so friendly and lots of neat stuff. Great little shop to stop at on the way to Death Valley. They have everything from books about Death Valley and ghost towns to snacks and handmade items.

A nice little market. They don't have much in the way of food, but they've got a decent selection of souvenirs. Gas up before you get there. The gas is about $2 higher than in Pahrump.
