I have a fear aggressive Mal, she absolutely hates adults, which doesn’t make vacationing easy. Usually all 3 dogs come with us, however Lake Siskiyou doesn’t allow dogs on the beach and well, it’s a nice beach! Since leaving them at the camp site wasn’t an option, and with limited people with whom I’m able to leave her with, I found Siskiyou Pet Care and spoke to someone about my dog and her quirks. Once I arrived, I found that they had a different muzzle than what we normally use, I wasn’t comfortable leaving her muzzled the full stay, Jennifer took the time to bring her dog and show me how their muzzle fit on hers, showed me how it would allow her to eat, and reassured me about my dogs care, and suggested I visit. Worst case it’s a 15 minute drive from where I would be and if there were any issues I would be picking her up.Later on that evening I received a picture of my quirky dog without a muzzle, but most impressive of all was she was being pet by strangers! Normally it takes lots of introductions, many steps, and then maybe she will allow someone to pet her. I’m shocked, overjoyed, and grateful all at the same time! Huge step forward for Brena!My other two (Jade and Blitz) are friendly and they all were well cared for! I received updates about each one, and I was able to relax! I did go visit one day just so they wouldn’t feel abandoned since it’s their first time boarding anywhere. The staff were friendly, my dogs looked happy, and I felt at ease! Thank you for caring for them, thank you for taking the time to work with Brena so that she would be comfortable, and thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, and address my concerns.(PS. They had a blast at the swimming hole suggested on our way back home)

Just picked my boys up at Siskiyou Pet Care, and I would not leave my boys anywhere else but there! Dusty & Dallas were trained with Freedom K-9 and now we board @ Siskiyou Pet Care a few times a year for business trips and some vacations depending the things we have planned. They know when we take the exit to drop them off and get so excited. That makes me feel good, cause that way I know they are being well taken care of while there. The staff is always friendly & attentive even when busy. To all at Siskiyou Pet Care thank you for taking such great care of Dusty & Dallas!

I've brought my two dogs here twice when I've gone snowboarding and it's been a great experience. The website is easy to use and the add ons are nice, very affordable. The staff is friendly and the picture updates throughout the day are nice.

My dog has stayed here several times. He loves it! He’s even had the training session add on option.Every time we walk into the lobby he’s pumped to go in the back, it doesn’t matter who comes to grab him he’s just clearly stoked to be here!The staff is always helpful & understanding of his special dietary needs. This is not a small dog & at only 6 months old the first time they watched him, he was a handful I’m sure!I definitely don’t worry about him while I’m their care, which makes my trip more relaxed & enjoyable for sure.

I can not believe the 2 poor reviews. I had my boy there for training as well as boarding. Unless things have changed in the last 4 months we both had a wonderful experience. My boy is a rescue and has many issues but he thrived during training and is very happy during boarding. I am planning on boarding again next month.

I took my boy there today and did a self-wash. How convenient was this? I did not have to deal with any hair on my shower or floor. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, and what a great low price. I love this place.

Some of the most pleasant people on the planet. Know what your pet should have, pay for it and then pick it up. Lex is an 11 yr old German Shepard. She fed, she's comfortable and always comes back easy to relax. All I can ask for.

My wife and I left our two large dogs with Jen and the team at Sisikyou while we hiked Shasta - what an AWESOME place.We have two very different dogs, one of which needs a lot of attention because of dog aggression. The staff completely understood right off the bat and gave her everything she needed. For an extra $10, they were able to do an expert job at trimming our other dog's nails and did a great job.When our plans change dunexpectedly, they were able to quickly change with us and gave us the flexibility we needed to not stress out while enjoying the area.Cannot recommend enough!

Why does this place smell like death? I entered and was met with a stench unlike any other I have ever witnessed. Truly unreal. Rude workers, unhelpful and unfriendly staff. I’m honestly shocked at positive reviews. Has management changed recently? Either way, would not ever trust my pet was safe and well cared for in this stinky, rude facility and will absolutely never return.

Remi was trained by Freedom K9 and only stays at Siskiyou Pet Care when I travel places that aren't suitable for him. Crazy how dogs know their locations as soon as I take the exit at Truck Village Remi starts getting his high pitch sound of excitement. He truly loves being at Siskiyou Pet Care we call it his spa or retreat. Staff loves him and he loves staff. I love the conversation with Jennifer and her team when I drop off and pick up. I always feel as loved as Remi does. Siskiyou Pet Care and Freedom K9 are amazing.

We brought our two small dogs here to board for a few days. We were greeted by Nathan who went over everything and made us feel very comfortable leaving our fur babies. I love how easy it was to book and all the extra add ons you can choose! When it was time to pick them up, Nathan was there and went over how they did and what they liked and didn't like. So happy to have a great facility like this in our county!

Definitely needs an attitude lift, Jennifer was extremely unpleasant to talk to, seemed like she couldn't be bothered to answer questions. I didn't trust my gut and left my boys. When I picked up most of their treats were still in their bag, their kibble was barely touched. Their bed stunk like piss and so did they. I wouldn't trust them with a fly let alone my dogs. Only saving thing is they maybe got their add-ons, which I doubt cause it sounded like they had to make up a story about my dogs walks and pup ice cream.

I trust Siskiyou Pet Care with my dogs, I have large breed dogs and it's great to have a place I know they'll be handled with skill and care, as the owner is also an extremely experienced dog trainer. She's set up such a comfortable environment. Would recommend!
