There is a lot of wonderful about this store, cleanliness, good selections and you'll find what you need. However I was disappointed when I bought red potatoes that were on sale and was charged for yukon gold which were not.. I'll be more aware at the checkout next time.

Ive been going there for years and loved the place but lately theres been a newer female employee who over charges on their items. At first I thought she's did it on an accident but me and my man have to tell her every single time to pay attention. She says sorry and tries to pretend it was an accident but it's every time for the last 2 months now. Just watch what u buy and make sure this worker don't over charge u too!!!! 😵😡😠

Would have gave it a 4 or 5 if not 4 the super rude & mean spirited lady in the meat department with the real nasty attitude!The young guy cashier in the front with the dark hair is the sweetest most kind polite personable young man that you'd ever want to meet on the planet! He is just so nice, like he is the polar opposite of the lady in the meat department.Sunshine is a small store right down the street from Century Farmers Market. Century's is so expensive you cannot even afford practically anything in that store but you go down to Sonny's place there to sunshine food market and I mean you can actually afford to buy like a steak. You know they don't have tons of quantity of everything but they got the basics. Like Meat, cold drinks, beer, booze, bread, snacks, can goods, cereal, milk, eggs, cheese, vegetables, TP and you know like I said they got the basics that you can afford. They have been doing a lot of upgrades to the store they just finished replacing all the wood on the entire outside of the building. They plan on doing more remodeling on the interior and putting in a pizza shop, so that'll be nice to get a slice of pizza and a drink.They really need to do something about that meet lady though.

I will never be shopping here again. Beware of the clearance rack they sell for that has been expired for almost a year. And when i brought this to the managers attention she told me that wasnt her problem and speak to the owners if i wanted something done about it. I am very disappointed in the way businesses have started treating honest paying customers in this town.

Piemont Market was super busy we waited 45mins just to get to the front door. And the the credit card machine went down. They announced cash only no problem for us. But before we could get close to the counter they were out of the meatball subs and the cannoli that we had driven out there to get. The ladies behind the counter were nice. We will come back another day to try again for meatball subs and cannoli.

The new owners are trying to keep the friendly atmosphere going. They have always had what I needed, and the prices are reasonable. Parking is not the best, but it's do-able.

I LOVE THEIR MEAT COUNTER!! They have a pretty good selection of specialty beers. Very nice folks!! Donna is the best butcher around!!!!

This was thw first time there and thw people were friendly and knowledgeable. The meat apparently is fresh and fresh cut every few days. The veggies are a little less then desireable cause they dont appear as fresh as they should. They carry a wide variety of grocery type items as well as a large induan type spices in big quantities. The place is old so dont expect the most cleanest but they appear to keep it as clean as possible. There prices are better on some of the staple items That a person uses daily then sentry. So yes i will be back.

Sunshine Market in Central Valley is a nice Mom and Pop's store that has reasonable prices and yes pretty much they are all year round and have anything that your heart desires for food tobacco and cigarettes as well as beer and liquor I would recommend your store for anybody that needs to go and do a quick shopping spree before they go to Shasta Lake.

If your a bargain shopper, DO NOT come here. Other than that it's always ben one of my favorite. Being a local throughout childhood gives it a lot more "at home" feeling.

This place has gone down hill since it sold and has new owners. You used to be able to do your Wic shopping there. Not anymore! Hardly any produce and the inside of the store smells
