It's basically a clean store with cheerful cashier's even though they're under staffed .. . It's a positive experience for the most part rarely leave upset and usually leave with much more then I went for . It's very down to earth and even when standing in a long line most people are very friendly and talkative. 😁

The one complaint I have about this store is the dirty grimy outside of the building it looks like the homeless sleep on sidewalk and use it for their rest room…def needs a good couple times a week power wash to outside of building and sidewalk

Clean store well stocked shelves and plenty of parking. Lots of Easter goodies. Candy candy candy why pay over a dollar elsewhere ?

Employees are always so nice. Lots of holiday decor, for a smaller DT.I would love to see them have more sugar free options for candy, food, drinks, etcI'm making two ingredient pumpkin cake for my grandbabies today with supplies I got at DT.My only complaint is the transients that hang out in the parking lot.

I absolutely love the Shasta lake dollar tree, it's always full and clean and very well kept. The management has done an amazing job and everyone seems happy and enjoys helping customers. Yolanda is by far amazing. Great help and sweetest lady to the elderly, offering for associates or herself to help them to their car. All around one of if not the best store in Shasta county.

Yes..yes..I love me some Dollar Tree. Now-a-days though it seems they are never stocked up. The people are just as nice as ever, and it is pretty easy getting in and out. If they raise the prices it will put a damper on me shopping. It is just so easy now with everything being a dollar. I know my total before I get to checkout....you know.

For the most part this store has always had friendly sales associates that had always been eager to help out customers with any questions asked. The managers and workers have done a fair job with the cleanliness on the sales floor, & steering customers clear from covid-19. Most of the times I've visited the Dollar Tree store, the shelves were always stocked well & never falling short of sales products which is always great. The only thing i would have asked for if the pandemic wasn't still in place would have wished they had public restrooms for customers.

My first time in this Dollar Tree: I really enjoyed looking through the store and will definitely be going back. I was blown away by the Michelina and Banquet Frozen food varieties they have. When my freezer runs low the next time, I will definitely return. I had never seen or known about the many types of dinners they had. It's a clean store and the employees are helpful and friendly.

Not the biggest one around so they don't have the selection that some of the larger ones do but they make up for that in customer service with the exception of the manager. Her name is Yolanda and I have ONLY seen her be rude to customers. I haven't had a personal experience with her but have seen her treat customers horribly. I have seen her stand by with one cashier and idly gossip with a friend or other employee( heard the conversation) while there were 11 people in line. One customer politely asked her to open up another register and her EXACT response was " Well I was going to before you rudely interrupted my conversation, guess you just ruined it for everyone" then she went in the office...ALL of the other employees are wonderful and will do anything they can to help you. Almost as if they are aware of how their manager treats people and are compensating for it.

Where to start... lately the store has taken a dive. Items broken or slashed by box cutters still shelved (so check your items closely) and if you happen to find damage after you leave the store, don't hold your breath about exchanging it, I believe she said "That could have happened after you left". Although they do have a few great cashiers (so sweet and always happy to help), the management at the Shasta Lake store seems absolutely horrid lately (because these complaints fall to them, do they not? Closing early, stocking unsuitable merch, etc)They need to hire better people. Tonight was the last straw for me, I checked online before driving the 8 miles to the Shasta Lake store that listed store hours until 8pm. At 7:19 they had the doors locked while they re-stocked. So don't trust the hours of operation for this location. If you can't hold true to your store hours, don't post them. Thanks for wasting my time and gas. Get new people who actually do their job. 12-5-21

Absolutely horrendous manager who runs the store. Employees get about 4-8 hrs each week, her attitude is toxic, and she goes out of her way to belittle and cultivate a unstable work environment. I am Jewish and she even forced me to participate in things that went against the things allowed for a Jew. When I told her I was uncomfortable and happy to do something else, her response was "well your hours are going to be effected by this". That was the last day I worked at dollar tree. A unhappy store run by unhappy people.

After reading the comments I just had to laugh and then comment. I work at this location and have for aboit a year now. I LOVE my job and I LOVE YOLANDA lol. She is an amazing boss. She is constantly reassuring me that I'm doing a good job and telling me she's proud of me. I get good hours. She's funny and has an amazing personality. She has never had to but I can't tell you how many times she's gotten me coffee or a gift of some sort as a thank you for my hard work when she doesn't have to do that.. I was surprised to see such negative things said about her. Just know us employees here at dollar tree are well cared for and spoiled and I have NEVER witnessed her being rude to a customer. Even if they deserved to be kicked out of our store.

Great place .From pet products to munchies! The staff sre always friendly! Apparently I havent met, Yolanda!🤣 Seems there was a Yolanda bashing era on reviews. I think I'll ask about her next time I'm there...I'll let you know😝....I shop here all the time..only a couple odd ball cashiers they didnt last long.Ethel needs a raise!I bet she's seenway too much.Thank you to all the employees who work so hard to cater to the needs wants,demands of sometimes petty, selfish, narrow minded, entitled asshats.Calm down,princess,its the dollar store🤣Customer service has been hell the last couple years🙃Thank you for always welcoming me.

Used to love going in there, David the cashier was always so happy and helpful. Now with that new hag of a manager Yolanda I hate going in there. She treats customers and employees like absolute garbage! She yells at her employees IN FRONT of customers! She so rude it makes us customers feel uncomfortable. I know several people who wont go in there anymore because of her. Why did they switch management?? It was perfect before. I hope they get rid of her soon 😔

I used to LOVE this store and the employees were always so nice and cheery. Then they replaced the managers and now all the employees look like they hate their life. The new manager, Yolanda is very rude to customers and I heard her chew out and be very rude to the nicest cashier there. The poor kid. They've changed where things are in the store and now I can't find my favorite candy half the time, and they keep trying to get me to buy these stupid items of the week. I won't be coming back for a while after Yolanda was so rude to an elderly man, she has no respect for anyone, especially her employees and the state of the store reflects that. I hope they change it soon.

This Dollar Tree in Shasta Lake, CA is clean inside and out. The shelves are well stocked and neat and organized. The employees are kind and helpful.I enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree Shasta Lake.The other Dollar Trees in my area fall way short on all accounts. Before you enter the smell of urine is ever present😬

Mike and Tina are awesome! I go in there all the time and they are wonderful. Today the day of my daughters 13th bday, they helped me out ALOT! She wanted nails and they helped me with a no answer lol. Thank you guys!!!

The people that work there are sweet. They always greet you with a welcome to the dollar tree. It's so cute . I would not survive well with out the helping bargins. I love the cleaning products. Mild and lots of natural beauty supplies to choose from . seriously if a persons shops there, they will go back. $30.00 fills my cupboard with months of used often suppliés. They have "the goods"!!

This is our local Dollar tree and Shasta lake City but we call it CV. I know one of the employees but I have always liked this Dollar tree they have food they have my soda they have everything you need at a reasonable price the people that work there are friendly they laugh and they smile and they're very courteous and helpful next time you're in Shasta lake stop by and by a burrito 💖👍🐾🐈

Just went in to grab a few things. Ethal was AMAZING as always!!NEW MANAGER RUDE AS HECK!! NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. I Said "hello" no response!! Passed her a couple isle's down. I said excuse me. Again NO RESPONCE.Roxy, Tyler, Ethal, And the Other Managers are ALWAYS FRIENDLY. I sure hope you dont treat your employees as well as other customer's in such a manner!!!

This is literally the most organized little dollar tree I've ever seen in my life. I sort of feel like people don't really go here that often it was so clean and the whole store was faced perfectly.

They haven't been here long but they are doing a great business. Did you know they carry bread, milk, and other foods that you can find in the freezer and refrigerator?! Pet foods and snacks, toiletries, candy, human snacks...lol and so much more. Great clean store and friendly people.

I get a notification within 10 minutes of shopping and I did not use anything else but cash never gave my email never gave my phone number take me off your list permanently and I choose never to shop at your business again because of this...THank You. It's full of dollar items, you get what you pay for. Sometimes I find some good deals, but great for the kids to buy a small toy with their own money that you don't feel bad about throwing out when it breaks, you get your $1 worth!
