Came by for an art show. They have wine, food, and also art! I was so enthralled by the experience my girlfriend and I shared. The service was great, the staff was knowledgeable about their wines and also friendly. The wine was great, we tried one of their flights. We also had the salami and cheese board which was a slamming good deal, presentation on the board was stunning and gorgeous!Came for the art (by Peter W. Harris) and stayed for the ambience and wine. Stellar combination of att and wine. I'm glad such a cool wine place, that is locally owned, has the imagination and boldness to invite artists and their works into their business space. Will return and will buy lore of their wine, CHEERS!

I visited twice from Tokyo, Japan. I like the atmosphere and taste in wine. I would love to visit again in next trip. The tote bag is nice as souvenir too.

We were excited to visit, Pax being a rotating favorite in our house, they did not disappoint with the tasting and staff were knowledgeable and very friendly!

Nice place, very cozy setting. The wines did not consistently deliver on my expectation, although some of them were really good. Spite our reservation the seating was not given, however after a moment of confusion someone left and we got decent seats.

Did the esoteric reds tasting flight and got an extra complimentary trosseau gris white wine taster. Everything was delicious and comes with a cheese charcuterie board. Ambience was great and loved the explanation of the diff wines. Bought 2 wines from here and would come back!

Located in the outdoor Barlow market of Sebastopol, California, Pax Wines is a comfortable, unpretentious spot to taste the wines of the talented vintner Pax Mahles . They feature many varietals, but at Pax Wines, Syrah is king. Don’t miss the Syrah from Grizzley Ridge: pure smoke, wood, and pepper.

My friend and I tried it out since the ambience looks very charming. Unfortunately if you're a sparkling wine only kinda person this is not the spot for you. The only sparkling is on tap, which is fine, but it ended up being flat and essentially a still rose. It was awkward mentioning it with the gentleman who either was an owner or manager as he seemed very offended. Another kind server turned up the "bubbles" and served another glass that was still very flat rose. My friend said it was tasty rose and drank mine. So if still wine is your thing and fun ambience, highly recommend.

Super rude.Place was completely empty, I sat down at a table outside FOR A MINUTE so I could set down my coffee and send a text. A guy came out immediately to tell that they’re not the coffee shop next door. Thanks Buddy. I’m decidedly not coming back.If there were ANY people inside or outside, I would have understood the eagerness to shoo everyone away. If he was friendlier, I might have come back with a book and had lunch. But no thanks.Do not recommend.

Place looks nice enough and popular but we declined due to the excessively LOUD non stop music. It's certainly a personal choice But if you're looking for a nice, quiet time to relax and visit with friends it might not be the place to go. If loud 10 minute guitar rock solo discordant grunge band is your thing, you'll love it.

Wonderful spot - great selection, service, and live music! My wife and I were in town with our 9 month old. One of our glasses spilled in a gust of wind and the server took care of it immediately. We will be back!

The tasting room is really nice, with lots of seating (including comfy couches). We did the New California tasting, and 3 out of the 4 wines were honestly the most bland wines I have ever had. The Chenin Blanc was pretty good though. The girls working the bar that day (a Sunday afternoon) both looked pretty miserable, but maybe they just had a long day. Overall, the tasting room is worth hanging out for an hour, but don't expect much from the wine or service.

Cozy and rustic tasting room and friendly staff. Their reds are lighter and smooth which can be a nice change from the big Napa Cabs or fruit bomb pinots.I love their wines with thanksgiving dinner!

Great hand crafted low alcohol wine that shows it's terror. Subtle balanced wine that has a lot to say if you are paying attention. Get a few growlers and enjoy as everyday wine. Great prices compared to the Napa Valley, and not big in your face wines!! Well Done! I'm a big fan.

Gorgeous tasting room with reclaimed wood, concrete and marble bar and big cozy couches to nestle into. But the best is the wine! Delicious. Restrained yet lush. Many varietals to choose from. Their tasting guide, Alycia, is the best!

Wow, where do I begin...Let’s start with our smug server Mitch. I learned more about the wines from reading the back of the bottle whilst he was fawning over some open shirt hipster guy. Andrew at least pretended to be nice, but the overall professional and friendly/knowledgeable service wasn’t offered to “us”. It was plain to see that other people were welcomed and treated differently but we were certainly aware that we were not wanted here. Tolerated is the best word to describe how the staff treated us, and that’s even a very big stretch. While being “served” our flights we were corrected on how to say the names before we ever spoke them. Condescending and unprofessional service to say the least. The entire vibe was pretentious and unwelcoming. My wife and I come from Woodbridge/Lodi, and I can honestly say we have been served much finer wine for half the price with 90% less attitude. The cheapest bottle of wine was $26, and it tasted like a Two Buck Chuck from BevMo. And you had to buy 2 bottles for the flight to be waived. Outrageous for this poor quality of wine.By the way the “skinny jeans” is absolutely awful. It tasted like they put a bunch of dirty skinny jeans in the vat when they made this Swill. When we took one sip, it was apparent that this wine was awful. We sent it back, and asked for a substitute. “It’s not for everyone “ Mitch pretentiously replied to us and said that if we don’t like it it’s still part of the “experience”. It’s not for “Anyone” with taste buds, change the name to “Dirty Jeans” for a more accurate taste description. Or maybe they realized it tasted so awful nobody would drink it, take in less calories and be able to fit into skinny jeans. It’s garbage either way.1 Star, not worth the drive or the money.

First Gamal Noir was okay, Definitely the starter in the tasting series. Unfortunately all the rest were bad to horrible. I never dump a glass of wine, I dumped the rest and actually spit the last Syrah out! So sad, great location!!

After years of fervent devotion to the wines produced by Pax Mahle, visiting today was a truly ethereal experience. Perfect wines encapsulated in the most suitable ambience, a fever dream of satisfaction and sensory nirvana. In the words of Douglas McArthur, "I shall return."

Was lucky enough to stay in an Airbnb with a growler for this tasting room. We filled it with an incredible Trousseau Rosé. Only issue was it took a bit to find because it has changed names to Pax Wines.

Quite rude and unfriendly folk - there are much better places to grab a glass of wine in the surrounding area.
