Two years ago, I had a positive experience self-washing my dog here. Unfortunately, my latest visit was a letdown. The machine lacked shampoo and produced no bubbles, but the staff didn't inform me it was empty or less shampoo —even upon inquiry, it appeared only water was coming out. After we completed the wash, I was then told the machine was having problems. Despite this, they still charged the full price without prior notice. The staff seemed impatient and unfriendly. Worse, after returning home, my dog started itching far more than usual. This visit has completely altered my previously good impression of the store.

This location is smaller than the Campbell location, but has the same great customer service and friendly, very helpful staff found at every P.F.E. I've been to. Additionally, we've been taking our dogs to use the self serve dog bath stations here for years. The staff here have always been very helpful whenever we needed assistance with the baths, towels, and when we needed to find certain treats or other dog products.Pet Food Express routinely has the best quality food products for our picky, very well cared for German Shepherd (and previously our collie as well). We always come here for the Rawbble.

This is my dog son's most favorite place. The staff is so friendly towards him, remembering his name and giving him enough treats he can skip dinner. I take him here for baths exclusively because he's a delicate old man who is afraid of other dogs and the open and easily accessible bath area is ideal. I live closer to other locations but still prefer to trek it out to Saratoga. A really great food selection, I love the high end choices (my wallet doesn't but my high maintenance pets do). So many good treats and toys! I've taken him to various PFEs since I've had him as an almost baby and I definitely prefer supporting this chain over ones that sell animals.

Thank you Pet Food Express. I've gotten used to shopping online that I forgot how nice it was to shop and bond together with my dog as we walk around this cozy and clean store designed for us.My dog and I walked through the sliding doors. It's not a big store, but both of us were greeted and asked what we are looking for twice. Everything was well stocked and shelved nicely. They had every flavor and size of Nulo. If they had no space for the flavors, they had the flavors interchanged (like instead of having turkey turkey turkey with salmon salmon salmon on bottom, it was like turkey, salmon, turkey, salmon) so it's never hard to grab the one you want. Small touches like this thinking about the customer gave me a smile.When I asked a worker a question, she walked all the way to the cash register and back just to get me the answer.My dog felt so comfortable here. She's usually in a rush to get out, but was actually sniffing and choosing which bone she wanted from their bone buffet area.Don't forget! They offer Buy 3, Get 1 free. Unfortunately this also means you have to do some math. Like.. is it better to buy4lb x 4 (1 free) for $68.9710lb x 4 (1 free) for $134.9722lb x 4 (1 free) for $221.97then you have to consider you can get different recipes, if you have storage for the dog food, will the food expire, what if your dog doesn't like it.... so you might want to have a plan before coming in or you'll be scratching your head in front of the shelf full of food.

Good store with a pretty wide selection of pet foods. If you buy 3 treats you get 1 free. Check the dates on the live crickets to make sure you get fresh living crickets. Staff here are friendly.

This particular store excels in knowledge of pet needs for healthy foods. Always helpful and friendly. I need novel protein, not kibble, not factory farm and raw but no room in freezer....they usually help me figure it out!

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and organized items. I take my newfoundland there to be washed and the tubs are big enough for her. I do wish the soap settings supplied more soap when washing but, she gets clean every time!

The staff here are always friendly and know their merchandise. The employees always seem to have knowledge about other things, too, like breed information as well as knowing general info on training and best practices of pet ownership. I have a service puppy in training, and they are always really helpful when I want to have her work on greeting appropriately.The parking lot is large and there are other stores, as well. The place is clean and the merch is always well stocked. Although they don't have as many options as say PetSmart or Petco, I always have a better experience here.A plus! Woof :)

Great for all your cat and dog needs. There are some other products here for other animals, but not much. It's a small store so I wouldn't expect them to cater towards every pet. I really like the dog food selection, I had a dog who was allergic to so many dog foods, but I was always able to find a brand he could eat here. I've never tried the dog washing stations, always wanted to, but my current dog gets car sick so I never attempted. All around great store.

I love this place. Staff is really friendly and helpful and actually knows my dogs' names. The dog bathing area is perfect. There is a scale when you walk in so you can weigh your dogs with treats nearby to help coerce them onto the scale. Merchandise is well organized.

I'm socialising a rescue dog by slowly introducing him into society. The people who work here are always understanding and supportive (thank you! ) They always make my dog feel welcome. The people are always so nice and helpful and very educated about the latest in pet food nutrition. I have other dogs and cats too, and I always feel confident I am purchasing top quality products for my family. The store is always clean and the shelves are neat and orderly with plenty of stock. Thanks again, guys! :D

Awesome place for quality food for your pets, customer service was great. The employees genuinely care about the pets and are very informative of the foods they carry. The pet washing station is fabulous and so convenient to keep your pets clean and sparkling! Jose Farias, the supervisor/manager was extremely helpful and kind! Definitely recommend to anyone who really cares about their pets!

We love going here to purchase items for our Golden Retriever. The staff is excellent, always available to help with our questions. There is a great area to bath your pet from having aprons so your clothes don't get (so) wet and all the items to wash your furry friend. There are always great prices on treats (like Buy 3 get 1 Free), training classes and recommendations for trainers outside of the store. Glad it is so convenient, nestled between Safeway and CVS stores (and a Starbucks at the very end).

Every employee is extremely helpful, friendly and enthusiastic every time we are there. In addition to carrying large bags of dog food out for us, they also help us with treat suggestions. Today one of them mentioned a good deal on a big box of treats and another one joined the conversation and went to bring the box to us. Then while we were checking out one of them noticed that we had 3 dog toys, so she told us that if we picked up a fourth, it would be free.We could by our dog food on line, but we patronize them in person to help support their presence.

All of their stores are amazing! The people are friendly and helpful.Also they ALWAYS have buy 3 get 1 free, even on the most expensive stuff. You can do that with the petwash tokens as well!

This store used to be great. With the new staff, they are not interested in helping you. The manager is a pill and has no customer service skills. As a teacher, this staff would definitely fail.
