As a local resident, this place has it all. Good prices. They carry gas, propane, and oil. Snacks and treats, beer, soda. The employees are fantastic as is the owner.Great stop to hit the trails or just take a break.

Gas isn't as cheap as you would expect for being in a real area. Definitely taking advantage of the limited location. The place is ran down and Definitely due for an upgrade. I find my bike doesn't run as smooth with this gas, yet many bikers find the point a good place to stop before heading up to mountain. I'd rather fill up in LA Jolla Rez where it's cheaper and they have outstanding food options there.

Excellent experience! While driving to Julian, I noticed I needed AIR in one of my tires. The air machine In the parking lot said it cost money.I decided to ask the LADY who worked there If I could get some AIR even though the machine said it costs. She was “extremely friendly” & replied “no problem, don’t worry about it I will turn it on for you…”I really appreciated HER kindness!!!I will definitely shop here again!Thank You!!

Good but typical selection of gas station store items, reasonable prices on petroleum products. Formerly wretched restroom was remodeled nicely but then closed during covid-19. As far as I know it has not been reopened. Hi canopy and lots of pumps make easy access for RVs and other large vehicles. Regular Diesel and red diesel both available

This place has it all! I have never failed to run into some guy riding into Ramco in some hot ride. Well located at THE Crossroads of my life. (Carlsbad-Borrego). Also, I have never failed to stop here. Bladder the size of a faerie, and I refuse to make use of those infamous adult disposables.

They get their pound of flesh between their debit fee and high prices. No bathroom

Always sweet service and a great selection of your typical mini mart goods. Slushy machine is yum when it's working. Excellent variety of gummies. I give it my 2 out of 5 toilet rating, as the facilities are only two porta potties outside. Otherwise 👌. 🚽🚽_ _ _

Extremely Overpriced Gas and fuel , Counter staff is awesome and give great service. Charging tourists prices to every day consumers is just highway robbery , it's not like you guys are using the profits from gas price gouging to fix the place up or anything.

They have a few canned grocery items and pet food as well as a good selection of cup of noodles and top ramen. They get 5 stars from me because they are one of the few places in town where their fountain sodas taste like they actually clean the lines in the machine often. The people that work here are nice and their gas pump area is a large are. It's perfect for people w horse trailers, RV's etc. Large beer and wine selection as well.

I always go up to julian and i've never stopped here because it looks rundown. Yesterday was the first time I have. I got 87 gas and immediately after starting my car had a check engine light. I used a scanner at ramona autozone on the way down and had multiple codes for both o2 sensors, catalytic converter and faulty emissions. My car is a 2018 so the only thing I could think of was maybe they had poor quality low octane gas, or water from the rain was seeping into their fuel cell. Thank god I only put $10 which was about 2 gallons of gas. I went to chevron and filled up my tank about 14 gallons with 91 and about 100 miles later the codes were gone. Id advise getting 89 or 91 if stopping here is a necessity.. or carry around a bottle of octane booster

A good place to fuel up before hitting the more remote roads in the area. Easy and convenient so it is a nice way point to ensure you have a full tank before continuing the day on the road.

This place is a lifesaver! Went for a long ride and was getting low on fuel and low and behold this gem shows up! I'll definitely be returning for another ride and fuel stop.

The go to gas and mart for the locals and motorcycling enthusiasts, that always spend $ there. So, what happened to the porta potties???? There is a CA law that requires it for gas with 600 feet of a "major highway" which 78/79 certainly is.

The prices here are usually OK. If you can wait a bit, though, there are better prices closer to Ramona. But if you're heading the other way, perhaps a motorcycle ride up over the mountain, better gas up here.

Also know to motorcyclists as "The Chairs" - due to some donated chairs (by the SDBMWOC) for folks stopping for a break before continuing their ride on some of our tasty local roads. Always full of bikes on the weekends and often during the week. Access to Julian area, Ramona, Mesa Grande, Borrego, Mt. Palomar, basic San Diego Hill country. and they have PayDay candy bars. plus gas. Only port-o-potties, though.

Ramco is the local chain with three stations on hwy 78. Us locals are glad they are here to serve the backcountry. A few groceries and automotive supplies, and some weird stuff for sale like male enhancement pills, kratom, alcoholic beverages, really just a little something for everyone.

Good place to gas up in San Isabelle, and get a snack. Central back country location to Julian, Ramona and Lake Henshaw. Porta potties as public restrooms.

They're not requiring people to wear masks in the store. I've been sitting out front and saw several people without masks coming out. I guess I won't be shopping here
