This groomer went down hill. We gave them chances to groom our 6 pound mini poodle but they fail every time. We have been coming here for ever but will no longer bring our dog here. Last time we complained they refused to do anything to make it right , which in that case would be a credit for next time since they cut his hair so bad there was no way to correct it.

WARNING!!!Came in for a nail trim with my pup, I usually go to Earthwise (the old Krisers on McBean) but unfortunately decided to try this place out since it’s closer. My dog was yelping and screeching in pain as they trimmed each nail, this is not normal and has never happened before in any previous nail trims. I see the front desk girl clamp my dogs snout closed with both her hands and that was it for me! I opened the door and said- nope, I’m done give him back to me I don’t care if he’s not finished! I regret not stopping it sooner. BLOOD ON EVERY PAW!!!! They didn’t finish the job since I got so upset and left but I took him straight to Earthwise, our regular spot. The groomer there took a look at what they did and said- in these exact words- “they butchered him”. Precious Pets had cut every nail too short and packed it with the syptic powder to try and stop the bleeding.I. Went. Off. Do not take your pets here if you care for them at all. These are where the nightmare stories happen. Places like this with untrained,unprofessional, uncaring amateurs.

No Stars......Ever since the new ownership, there is no management to supervise the groomers, need to continue to remind them about the cuts because the have the wrong information on file and they never change it, never knew where the wrong information came from, the groomer gave a straight edge cut (flat top) at the tip of the tail, Who does that? The body cut is completely uneven, time to fine a new groomer.

Brought my cat here the same exact day my mother brought my childhood cats in. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years since Edna was the owner. Since Hector took ownership this place has been nothing short of horrifying for animals. After picking up my cat I noticed she didn’t get the haircut I asked for, they only shaved her stomach and they completely cut her nipple to the point it was still bleeding after our half an hour drive home. I called my mom and she was in tears. Her 14 year old persian cat had her hair ripped completely out of her skull and neck. Hector simply told my mother she had slight matting on her neck and some irritation when she picked her up. When she saw her once she got home she was mortified. Her cat barely ate for 3 days, needed antibiotics, and is regularly seeing a dermatologist to keep her skin from developing any problems from this. What’s crazy is this is the SECOND time this is happening! It happened months ago with my moms other cat, however it was a much smaller area. They told my mother the hair had just randomly fallen out. We thought it was a fluke since we had been going there so long, but that’s my fault for trusting them again. Hector could care less, finds anyway to blame your animal and you. And is completely unbothered and rude on the phone. He could care less that animals are being totally abused in his business. Look at their recent yelp reviews and facebook reviews from local groups, many animals have been severely harmed. We’re currently looking into how we can take this further because something has to change. Animals can’t keep being put through this pain. I also find it interesting that Hector told me my cat was very aggressive and was biting, but I used to be told that she was one of their favorite cats with the old owners. I decided to watch the whole time she got her cut at a new groomer last week to see what he was talking about, and she was the sweetest and most gentle creature. What was happening at Precious Pets that my sweet girl was so upset? Shame on you Hector!!!

the people that work here are morons and they rip you offi took my pet to get grooming and claws trimmedwhen i got him back, he was still shedding like crazy and seemed like he didnt get a haircut and his claws were not trimmedbesides that, when i took him in, there was a rug i left for his cradle, when i got him back, the rug was gone and there was a paper towl instead, when i asked them they were oblivious.. what a joke

The best grooming place I've found in the valley. I was recommended here by my mom and I am so thankful. I got a new puppy and took her for her first grooming. The staff was so kind and called me with updates when I told them I was nervous to leave her for her first appointment. They even took a Polaroid picture of my dog and her first appointment so I could have it as a memory. Easily the kindest and most professional staff :)

Grate pet's salon, good prices, owner nice and friendly, just one star less because it's a bit smelly inside, we hope they can clean with special chemicals, detergents, just to read of the smell and it is possible for sure! 😊, cose it's hard to breathe inside .

The service was honestly horrible. The only reason they get a single star is because the groomers almost did their full job. An ear cleaning and trimmed nails aside from their bath and brush was supposed to be done and it was never done. Aside from our name not being in the scheduling system even though we called to make an appointment, our dog came out incredibly distressed and with a limp in his front paw. He was overheated AND EVEN HAD A SWOLLEN CUT/BRUISE THATS WAS BLOODY ON THE SIDE OF HIS FACE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE PRIOR TO HIS APPOINTMENT. All the man said was "We aren't responsible for that." It's absolutely ridiculous how stressed and in pain my dog was after his appointment. And because they "forgot" to put us in the system, they squeezed us in and kept our dog for 4.5 hours. We were originally okay with the time, assuming they would at least give him water. But we suspect they never gave him water or a bathroom break the entire time. Horrible service, never returning, and demanding a refund first thing tomorrow.

I absolutely adore the staff here and the way they are able to get my elderly Tibetan Spaniel boy and American Eskimo princess looking so wonderfully light and fluffy. They do tend towards being quite busy so 10:00 a.m. appointments have the potential to take all day to closing around 5:00 p.m., but this is not the norm and it is to be expected from any good business doing good work. If there is anything I do not like, it is the parking lot since that particular shop center has been there for so long, so smaller cars will have an easier time parking. The only thing I would suggest would be for pet owners with large dogs to only make appointments for 8:00 a.m.; as previously mentioned, they can get busy, and having to keep the big pups in the kennels for longer can be uncomfortable for them, which again is the case with any groomer. For my medium-sized dogs, I love them and cannot recommend them enough. Thank you!

Honestly if I could I would not add a star .Ive been coming to precious pets since 2014 and have always had a great experience the staff was so professional and I felt soo comfortable leaving my dogs there., but today was soo different. The staff is very cold. When I came in to pick up my dog normally the staff will bring her out in one of their leashes but the young lady just opened the door and had my dog run into the lobby with NO LEASH , No one else in the waiting room helped to try and catch her me and my husband struggled to catch her and no one even tried to assist.What if the door was open and my dog would if run outside into cars? Based on the staff they don’t care . Very unprofessional. This is the last time I will be bringing my dogs here.

Pets always come out clean but also always come out with razor burn on their belly and nails trimmed way too short. I’ve taken my dogs there a hand full of times now and very slowly it seems to be getting worse. They’re nice people, but you can tell they’re kinda getting sloppy and just pushing animals through 😕They’re very busy people, so if you have an anxious dog this isn’t the place for them. Very loud and fast paced from what I’ve seen.

Paws down, the best groomers in Santa Clarita. I've taken my Westie here for years. I frequently give different cut instructions to the groomers as the seasons change, and my dog looks great every time. I've tried several other places and my dog always resisted when we returned. Every time we go to Precious Pets my dog is excited to go in. They really seem to care, and it shows. I give PRECIOUS PETS 5 tail wags!

I Took my 4 month puppy for her first grooming. What a disorganized place. A shampoo,Blow Dry with a trim around the eyes and sanitary trim on the rear end should not take 5-1/2 hours. They said 2 to 3 hours. She not only missed her mid day feeding she came out of there dehydrated, and coughing. It took half the night to calm her down. This place is not a friendly place to first time dogs being Groomed.

I had been taking my golden retrieve to petsmart to be groomed and the staff seemed annoyed to have to deal with me and my dog. Charged me $100 every time!!! Precious pets to the rescue!!! About half the price and always seem so happy to help me and my doggy. Also gave him a cute scarf to go home in. He and I were happy campers !! They have lifelong customers now!

I would give there dog groomer a 4.. I am very happy with the bath and brush!! But, I asked for a clip on the back side. I guess they were too busy, thankfully I did not get charged for it. He looks beautiful though. Thank you!!Reason for the 3- I was disappointed by the poor customer service. Really rough

I have been going here since 2003 and they have always done a great job. I am now on my second set of Corgi's since the previous two have crossed the rainbow bridge, but I now take my two baby corgi's Gus and Daisy here and they treat them with the same respect and love as always and they always get it right and my Corgi's are not the best babies when it comes to going to the groomer. Let's face it they hate it but always come out of there smelling better than when they went in. Thanks Precious Pets for taking care of my dogs. P.S. However, I do miss the picture taking events a lot. I really wish you would bring that service back. :)

Terrible Terrible Terrible, Zero stars. Completely butchered our dog. They asked how we wanted it cut, they actually wrote it down but did the exact opposite and it was crooked and uneven. Will not be back ever again. After talking to manager the next day he refunded our money.

WATCH OUT! They cut too close to my westie's eyes and scratched. I had to rush her to an emergency clinic because she woke up in the middle of the night frantic and because she couldn't see she ran into the wall. When I took her in i was told that her eye had been scratched by a blade. After I went to talk to the owner of Precious Pets, she said that I had to understand that she has an assembly line on a very tight schedule because they have so many animals to groom and that accidents do happen! That was her response, I did every thing in my power not to smack her for telling me how little she cared about the animals that are given in her care. She didn't offer an apology nor compensation for what she did! Which I was not looking for but it is amazing that anyone would give her such high ratings. I have talked to several other pet owners that have had the similar situation with this lady and her Grooming facility! Just watch out people!

My daughter is a first time owner of a small dog with an attitude. It was her baby's first experience away from the family. The staff was incredible, professional, caring and the groomer was an artist. We thank them all.

Just picked up my dog. NOT HAPPY. i had an appointment set for noon. Dropped him off at 11:45. I called at 2:15 to check on him. I was put on hold 3 seperate times. Each time they came back and asked my last name and dogs name. 3 times !! Why?? They finally told me they wouldnt get to him until 4:30pm. WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING AN APPOINTMENT THEN!!! He is a small 30lb dog. Didnt need a wash. Only a buzz. The front desk never explained their "process". She told me its "first come first serve" thats rediculous. No point in having a appointment. Then front desk says that the groomer is just waiting for a table to open up.. lame excuse their as well. Customer service is a 0. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

We provided Precious Pets with instructions NOT TO CUT our dog's whiskers (vibrissae), which (1) prevent animals from colliding with walls and objects, and (2) keep approaching objects from damaging their face and eyes.Precious Pets did the exact opposite, cutting every hair on her face.Additionally, they left a 2.5" x 8" gouge of fur on our dog's back, explaining that they initially used the wrong cutting shears—but they never bothered to smooth it out!
