The associates are sad. They dont know what they are doing. 3rd st is way better. They're more busy and might take an extra 10-20mins to be attended sometimes. But atleast they know what they are doing. And that location is more open to different insurances such as GoodRx. One thing i dont understand is how can the walgreens in san rafael accept goodrx for one medication and northgate say they dont. Yet my walgreens app. Acknowledges goodrx and allows me to use it too. But in person, its rejected.Never coming back to this walgreens

This is the only pharmacy I'll go to. The staff is great and do the best they can. When I couldn't find a medication that is on a national shortage, one of their staff was looking out for me and when they were able to find some they immediately called me and held it. Sure, sometimes there is a wait, but that's gonna be all pharmacies. I really appreciate these guys.

I came at 11:30 to pick up a prescription. They told me they were behind and it would take about an hour to fill and asked if I’d wait. I told them I’d come back later. So I returned at 4pm, waited in line for fifteen minutes, only to be told it still wasn’t ready. The person who assisted me was unprofessional and flippant. Rolled his eyes at my direct but professional frustration at the situation. I could then see him in the mirror making small talk and joking with the pharmacist while others waited in a 10+ person line behind me. Amanda Waite, the pharmacy manager, has always been kind and professional. The people I dealt with today, specifically Sam S., was not. I will not be returning to this Walgreens pharmacy.

Things have really changed the past couple months. This used to be my favorite location and I even stayed with them when I moved and drove 30 mins to pick up my meds but recently things have gone really downhill. Whenever I call I can't reach anyone. I am usually on hold for 30-45 mins and then it seems like they pick up and hang up and then I have to keep calling and waiting until someone does finally pick up. The lines at the pharmacy have gotten really bad as well. I have to devote so much time to trying to get ahold of someone and then more time picking up my prescription, it's just like all the other locations now. 2 stars just because I'm hoping this is temporary and they'll go back to how they were before.

When Iooking for a product I came across an employee who was stocking shelves. Wasn't sure if he was an employee or a merchandiser from another company, I asked if he worked here. He continued to stock the shelf flashing his badge at me s (i guess that ment yes)continue to stock the shelf without acknowledging me. I saw his name, I asked what that meant and assumed he worked there. Continuing to stock his shelf I asked him where the product might be, in a very low tone without looking at me said top shelf. I had no idea what Top Shelf he was referring to. He then walked past me stared at me said top shelf right. Then walked away. It was useless to ask him, because I felt like I was annoying him. The product turned out to be on a lower shelf. There are so many jobs out here that people don't want I feel this young man by the name of Sam is one of them. Walgreens should do some employee training on customer service. This was very poor customer service⁹

The staff and Pharmacy are unreal rude. They make sure to keep you on hold. I waited on hold for over an hour, only to be hung up on. I called the store manager and he said sorry and put me through the same phone answering service for the same thing. I waited again for another 30 minutes and then got hung up on again. A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes on hold. I guess they think they won't have to answer the phone if they just keep putting people on hold forever especially when it's close to closing time. Excellent scenario..........NOT!!!!

Had an 8:30am appointment for a vaccine booster shot and a flu shot. Upon arrival I am told that the pharmacy does not open until 9am and I will have to wait. The person I spoke to (I believe it was the manager) had sort of a "well tough sh!t" attitude and didn't offer an apology. He asked if I had been called to be notified about my appointment being cancelled and I said no. I even got an email confirmation from Walgreens the day before.I waited until 9am to get the shots but the pharmacy did not open until 9:15am - 15 minutes late. Other people waiting in line had the same issue as me and were not called and notified.I chose this appointment time to miss as little work as possible but ended up missing an extra 45+ minutes of work. Won't be going back to this store for any reason.

Unforgettable Experience with dropping of fedex package and its disappearance at this Walgreens store.I dropped of a package 5 days ago. When I tracked the status it was showing that Fedex never picked it up. Came back to store, my package was sitting in one of the boxes that no one had an idea it was there. Then, one of the employees put it on the other shelf for Fedex to be picked up. Again, next day I checked the status and still was not picked up by FedEx. Went back to store and asked about the package. None of the employees took this seriously. They were laughing and saying that we are Walgreens not FedEx. We don’t know where your package is.They received the package and must be responsible until FedEx picks it up. I called FedEx and they stated that the package was never picked up from that Walgreens.FedEx started investigation but not worth spending time on it. AVOID having business with that store. Very unprofessional employees.

I paid for a photo order online in advance on Jan, 24, 2022, with the print to be delivered "express" within three days -- on Jan. 27. Walgreens has listed the order as "in production" for a month, and never delivered it. I called to complain and the call went to the Philippines. The guy in the Philippines apologized but could not provide a tracking number or explain what happened to the print. It was a birthday present for my grandson and they failed. And now they still want to charge me the express fee to deliver it or refund the whole order and I am free to pay again, but now the delivery time will be five days instead of three. Very disappointing.

Unprofessional, And directly not following company policy/Fedex partner agreement.Francisco, the "Shift Lead" denied a package on 5/31/22 due to his personal subjective opinion on what is defined as too large, Disregarding the clearly posted sign showing the maximum limits of parcel drop off. Quoting, I can leave the package but it wont be safe because he refuses to scan it. Formal complaint with weights and measures is in process, Customers beware, The other reviews here clearly identify the issues with management at this specific store, The location in downtown San Rafael accepted the parcel with no issues or complaints, As expected per their agreement with Fedex.

BEWARE of the partially bald-headed "friendly" staff member!!!!!!! One time, I was at this place, in line and the woman in front of me clearly had a nasty experience. She was purchasing a bag of chips. As she walked up to the register to purchase them she was greeted by a partially bald headed man who was WAYYY too friendly and made way too much unnecessary conversation. Not just that but he had the audacity to say to her face when she was buying the chips, "Wow! That's a LOT of chips! You eatin' those all in one place?!" It was extremely rude and offensive. It is NONE of his business how much she is eating and he has NO RIGHT to ask her a question like that.After that, when it was my turn to make my purchase (a Monster Energy Drink), the same cashier was again making WWAAAAAYYYYY too much conversation/small-talk to the point where it was holding up the whole line, even though I was clearly in a rush. Like, seriously? Just tell me how much the freaking Monster Energy Drink costs so I can get on with my day and leave the place.

Came in to pick up photos an hour after I received an email saying they were ready. The staff member who helped me couldn’t find them and half of my order was left on the printer. They called for someone from the back to come help me and 10 minutes later still no one had come so I just left empty-handed with my time wasted. Dreading going back to get them later today and have more time wasted.Serious problems at this location - avoid at all costs.

I signed up to get a Covid booster shot here as they had many appointments. My prior shots at other Walgreens and CVS took 20 minutes, start to end.Here there was a 20 minute wait in line and complete paperwork, then an hour wait to get the shot.It just seems this pharmacy and the vaccination station are poorly and inefficiently run compared to other Bay Area pharmacies- go elsewhere if you can.

The Walgreens itself is great - service is wonderful in the pharmacy.Unfortunately, in front of the store there is a broken yellow patch with upraised bumps full of jagged holes (between the parking lot and the store). It’s use is supposedly to prevent shopping carts from going too fast. The jagged holes caught the toe of my shoe last week and I fell hard, bruising my leg, hip, arms and hands. When I mentioned this to the manager she said she would look in to getting it repaired. Still hasn’t been addressed - Extreme danger for seniors who might trip over it and break a hip. Walgreens - you should get this fixed ASAP, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

It literally takes this place 10-15 to check out each customer. I waited for 45 to get my medication and there were only 3 people in front of me in line. Use any other pharmacy except this one.

I love this Walgreens! I use their pharmacy more than anything else, but the store is well stocked and management is super friendly. There's one manager (African-American) in particular who always greets people and makes sure you get what you need.Over to the pharmacy. Two thumbs up, hands down, the best place to go. When they say 15 mins to fill something, they mean 15 mins.Liem is the best pharmacist! Amanda is great too. And the non-pharmacist ppl behind the counter in the pharmacy are high-five good.

Chris is a hard worker. He works hard day in and day out. I shop a lot at Walgreens for my bare necessities, and everytime I see Chris he always has that smile that can penetrate deep into the hearts of many. Chris is always motivating both his co-workers and costumers to bring out the best in them. He retores my faith in the younger generation again. We need more people that values family. People who are devoted, dedicated, and responsible. We need people to be there when the calling gets tough. We need more people like chris. He also gave me good costumer service

The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the pharmacy is very good. The store staff in general is not very good, especially in finding an online order that came in. I’ll never order from them again because of the problems I’ve encountered.

The pharmacy always has the longest lines and items aren’t ready by their guaranteed date/time so even after having to wait for 15+ in line, you have to wait another 10 minutes still.

The worst customer service I stood waiting for assistance while my allergies were out of control and the person who has the key to the allergy isle cabinet wouldn’t come help .Even after ringing the bell several times and his coworker asking him for the keys .
