Best place to go for good prices for pet supplies. Lower your expectations on cleanliness. They aren't paid enough to care. The manager there is going through a divorce why I know this is strange. I don't have a personal relationship with this person . However, he overshares .

Great source for all things pets - and at really excellent prices. Big selection of items for cats, dogs, small mammals, birds, fish - food, fun, beds, meds, etc. It's a really big store with a huge selection of products.Parking is easy - it's in the same small shopping center as Smart and Final.Staff are friendly.Spots to donate for local pets in need on your way out.Adoptions and shot clinics - check schedule.

Not your typical pet store. Definitely with more local roots, they have a good selection for a lot of different animals, but I feel like they understand the pet customers here in San Mateo - which I can't say is true for the big-box stores. This is where I go to get all my dog food, and have a selection for my dog's other needs as well!

Pet Club of San Mateo is the best animal care store on the Peninsula. From my observation, I feel that the Pet Club beats out Pet Smart & Petco. The pet food prices, medicine, and equipment are competitive. The store offers a mobile veterinarian service on Sundays. I particularly appreciate the huge stock and clean store. I also appreciate the staff and managers who are always helpful and consistently nice. Whenever I shop, I learn something new about pet products because of the rotating product line. The parking lot for Pet Club is plentiful and seems safe. I recommend a visit. The Pet Club in San Mateo 5 stars is well deserved.

I feed multiple cats, so cost is really an issue, and the prices at Pet Club are the very best anywhere. Their merchandise is easy to find and the employees are very helpful. It is a warehouse with a wide array of pet supplies, and if you're lucky you will see many cute and well behaved pets! Love the place. It's worth a drive from Daly City to San Mateo to stock up!

MASSIVE stock and variety of cat and dog foods. Huge variety of small animal food, treats and toys (birds, rabbits, Guinea pigs etc) not to mention they also sell goldfish and other types of live fish and also reptile supplies. Prices are really cheap too compared to big box stores (target, Walmart, safeway)

This place is great.Prices are an amazing and it's local. Vet service on Sundays is also great.One downside there quite a bit on their stuff so don't expect there to be people who are able to help you with your questions on the floor but you can always ask cashier anything you want to find out.

I tried to use their coupon which states that that if purc $15 Pet supplies excluding cat food and treats and kitty litter and I would get five dollars off. I purchased plants for my Fishtank and water conditioner for my fish tank however they will not honor the coupon because they considered As food category. I explain to the manager that on the coupon they had no problems putting in all the exclusions but they did not add plants Under excluded but he didn’t seem to care. I spent over $100 at the store but no planning to come back again since I don’t think they care that much about their customer service.

LARGE store carrying some harder-to-find brands of cat and dog food. Doesn't like to come up in search for some dumb reason? Very legit pet supply store and our go-to now, even with Petfood Express being practically next-door to us.

The fish section lacking not too much to selection mostly bread and butter stuff. They do have a decent selection of dry goods and aquarium products which are hit and miss on some of the pricing

Came her for VIP veterinarian services (annual rabies shot) for my cat. Long wait,of course, on a Sunday afternoon, but necessary. The store is gigantic. It’s like a veritable Costco for Pets. Every dog, cat food or treat imaginable is available and prices are fairly reasonable compared to other retailers. Here, you can purchase cat litter and dog food not in the traditional 16-20 pound bag, but in 40 pds or more. Would be helpful if more staff were available to assist you with your purchase, however.

Been shopping for pet supplies here nearly 30 years. Great prices, weekly specials, and most of all rarely out of stock on items I've needed mainly for cats over the years. Cat/kitten adoption fairs often. Also vaccinations usually on Sundays if I recall correctly. They have a lot to offer.

Nice selection of pet care products. The store was empty on a Friday afternoon. The cashier, "Marisela," was exceptionally rude and discourteous, accusing us of stealing a bottle of soda that we purchased from Office Depot next door as we paid for our bag of premium cat food and cat toys. Never coming back here again!

This has the largest pet variety of everything store including fish supplies, pet doors, cat trees, food, snacks, toys, etc around. Unfortunately, even though I live a couple of blocks away, I forget its there! It’s kind of hidden at the end of a small strip mall so it’s mostly out of sight and I never see advertisements. Until recently I literally had not been there in at least 2 to 3 years minimum. I end up purchasing through the online app at Petco for good online purchase discounts. Or I go to Pet Food Express for their buy three get one free of everything. I do need to go there more often as it’s convenient and well stocked. I was able to find some Orjen healthy cat treats there that are almost always out of stock at the others, so I was happy about that!

Please don’t support a store who treats its employees badly. Manager VERY RUDE and Reprehend the cashier when cashier called needed a manger key to apply coupon. The manager reprehended the cashier and said “he was wasting his time all day In front of me! Decided to not purchase from the store. I then Spoke to the manager and told him I choose to not purchase from his store because of the way he treated his employee. He went on to say “you don’t know the back story to understand, I don’t care if you don’t buy from me” and walked away. Will never support this business.

Great prices! My dog’s food is a full dollar per can cheaper here than at any of the other stores or even online sources. When he eats almost a can a day that really adds up.

I went to bay Fancy Feast cat food brand on March 20 of 2022 but I didn't find a single can of this product. But they have other brands. Please call first at the store to make sure that they already have Fansy Feast products otherwise don't waste your car gas for no reason.

People are friendly, however store used to sell bulk loose dog biscuits by the lb. but since Covid19 they have discontinued. I guess you can get the Bat Flu from handling the dog biscuits. The store could have provided a plastic bag style glove that could have been discarded after use. Other than silly corporate decisions 😔, the staff are friendly and prices are reasonable.
