We have been using them 8 years and we still love Camp Run A Mutt. Their staff are phenomenal. The new owners are wonderful and they take amazing care of our dog. All the staff are very familiar with each dog and their own little quirks and it’s that personal touch that really makes the difference. We use them for all of our daycare and boarding needs and could not ask for a better daycare.

Our dog Cooper loves this place. We can't say the word "camp" at home without him running into the room wagging his tail knowing he gets to go to camp. The staff are so sweet with all the dogs and whenever we pick him up he's all smiles 😊

My family loves this location of Camp Run-A-Mutt. We have a puppy that is used to spending lots of time with her mom, so it was important for us to find a place where we felt comfortable leaving her overnight or for the odd day here and there. Our girl is so excited every time we drop her off, and it's clear that the staff love her. What originally sold us was that there are no crates (even when boarding overnight) and they have cameras so you can check on your pup if desired. Those are great features, but it's the kind and dedicated staff that really make this place the best. Highly recommend!!

Camp run a mutt is one of those places that feel like family! When you drop your best friend off for a couple hours, a day, or boarding for days… you can leave knowing your pup is in awesome hands!I love that they are cage free and that you can watch them on the live video during the day!I’ve seen the employees petting my boy without even knowing I was watching.Been going for 6 years.. that is a review in itself! My dog Maddie LOVES Camp Run A Mutt. She gets to play with dogs and staff all day. When I go on trips and have to leave her over night I do not feel bad as I know she is having fun the entire time. I like that there is always staff with the dogs, even at night. It is also fun to watch her play on their website. I 100% trust this place with my dog.

My pup started going here when he was around 12 weeks old until he was about 5 year when we had to move out of state. Leaving the state was hard but having to leave this camp was harder. Link loved everyone at camp run a mutt as much as they loved him and I never had to worry while he was in their care. We still miss all the people at camp run a mutt San Marcos dearly and are grateful for all the years of love and care you provided to link!

We have been taking our boy to Camp Run-A-Mutt since we moved to North County, 5 years ago. Their facility is cage-less, clean and the staff are always happy to see Shabazz for either daycare or boarding. He is always happy to go play with his friends or make new ones each time he visits. We highly recommend looking into this franchise in San Marcos or others located in the SD area. It will always give you peace of mind when you are apart from your furbabies.

Our family has often taken our two dogs Maggie and Bailey before the lockdown to this dog day care and after they finally opened back up again, I’m sure they were so happy to be back! The staff is great handling our energetic puppies and we are so thankful that they are patient and trained at dealing with Maggie who has problems controlling her excitement!Camp Run A Mutt is a go to place if you want your dogs well cared for and dog tired when you go to pick them up!

Camp is a blast!! My pup can't wait to get in the door and loves the staff. I know when he's at Camp that not only he gets to play with his friends but he's safely supervised every minute. If your pup needs play to or even an overnight stay I recommend you check these guys out. Lloyd and Sabrina are the best kind of owners. They treat my pup like one of their own.

My puppy loves to go to Camp Run a Mutt in San Marco's. I buy the packages (5 full day and either the 10 or 20-half-day) and bring him about 2 times a week on average.My dog is now 5 years old, and has been attending since he was one. He is a small do, 18 pounds, very gentle. The camp has several areas and these are careless. Dogs of all sizes are together. A dog gets evaluated for temperament and their vet history is checked to make sure they are good in packs and are healthy.My puppy does not run and romp, though he occasionally plays with another gentle dog. He likes to get on top of a structure in the yard, hide in a tunnel, or lay on the edge of the wading pool rocks and watch the action.I appreciate being able to look in on him on the mutt cams, flexible schedule, and the friendly staff. Even if I dont need care for a week, I often bring him in for a half day for the "socialization." Thumbs up!

My pup loves it here. I have been taking her here for 5 months after using an online dog sitting service. I love it. The staff is so friendly and my pup is able to let some energy out and make friends. Highly recommend to anyone. Services like this are expensive but camp run a mutt is worth the cost especially knowing that my pup is safe and having fun.

Our dog "Misha" had been going to Camp Run a Mutt San Marcos since shortly after they first opened. Misha LOVED going to camp and would still be going at least 3 times a week had we not moved out of state. The facility is clean and it is very apparent that the staff loves the dogs. Excellent care for my pup. She loved it and even got a great "report card". The facility is sparkling clean and colorful. It just screams fun and very dog centric! The staff are amazing and truly love the dogs.The owners spend individual time with each dogs so they know their personality. My dog was there for 3 weeks and she was still wanting to play when it was time to go home. The whole environment is planned around a dogs play and rest. Although my dog sleeps in a crate at home she loved the open sleeping room full of dog beds and sofas. She tried them all out.

I have been boarding my dogs at Camp Run-A-Mutt (CRAM) for about 7 years. I had a rescue that passed away during Covid and a golden retriever (Archie) that has been going to CRAM since he was about six months old. I like the fact that I can check on Archie on the live webcam. CRAM is well staffed and friendly. When Archie spends the night I am glad to know that he is not in a cage and with a human to make sure he is safe. I refer anyone who asks to check out CRAM and tell them Archie sent you

Camp is one of the nicest run facilities I have ever visited and the personal attention that the staff has given me is wonderful. Another benefit for concerned pet parents is that the owners are there every day and are available to speak with if you have concerns or questions about your dog's stay or his daily needs.. This is one of the only facilities that has a 24 hour staff which is one of my favorite features. They all know my dog's name and his special needs and I just love this place. I highly recommend to anyone that is as crazy about their dog as I am.

I'm a doting fur baby mom, and don't like to leave her at all. Sabrina and Lloyd and the whole staff treat my girl as if she were their own. She is a high energy girl and loves going there. She runs in like she owns the place and the play is on. I never worry about her when she's there. Love the fact that overnight boarders get a nose to tail exam in the morning and at night. Of course I love that she's never in a cage and that I can see her on the camera. Great place!Did I mention that I really love that they don't discriminate based on breed.

This place is incredible. The staff is amazing. The environment is superb. Cage-free and filled with loving staff and friendly dogs. My dog LOVES coming here. Practically jumps out of her skin with excitement when I tell her I'm taking her to camp. If you want a quality place where you feel like your dog is getting well-cared for while having fun, this is the place for you.

Love this place & so does my dog Leo. He starts barking a block away & can't get in there fast enough. The staff is super nice & really seem to love the dogs. The facility is clean & has a very happy vibe. Sabrina is one of my favorite people. She & husband Lloyd run the place very well & love my pooch Leo. We also attend flyball lessons there on Sunday & it's a blast. Another great feature is the "mutt cams". I can check in on Leo throughout the day. Really fun place with great staff🐾🐾

Our Henry has loved his time at Camp!! The staff took great care of him when we were gone. The staff noticed he wasn't feeling well and the owners took him to the vet and stayed with him until they could figure out what was happening and we could get home. We are so grateful to them!!!!

My first experience was a very positive one. Please forgive me but I do not remember the name of the young lady who took Bear back for his temperament test. I really liked her, she gave off a really good vibe. She was quietly confident and you knew she was good at what she does. I like you can check in on your dog on the webcam.Also love the report card! ☺️🐶We will definitely be using them again.
