Beware, this Company is only after your money. Palm Construction is only Sales people who subcontract everything out. When Palm started working, I asked to see the permits and results from calling 811. Palm Construction said they didn't need permits or to call 811 even though we had discussed this was needed when reviewing the work to be done. I also asked for receipts for downpayments made, and Palm Construction refused and said they never do receipts, and I told them that was unprofessional and the most unbusiness like thing.When I tried to stop the work due to safety issues of no permits, not calling 811 (AT&T has lines in our yard, along with a cable line and a water pipe) and multiple building problems (see photos) and that their subcontractors were having injuires, my calls to the company about problems and lack of basic safety equipment went unanswered, The Sales people denied any problems, lied and started whinning like spoiled children and said I was making their families starve. Palm started sending people to knock and ring our doorbell all times of the day. I have never dealt with such unprofessional and whinning like babies business in my life. I had to file a complaint with The Contractors State License Board(CSLB) and hire a Lawyer so I could keep my Family, Neighbors, Neighborhood and their subcontractors safe.I also found out Palm Construction has their own Employees write 5 star reviews on Yelp. Palm Construction also uses/steals stock photos from other Construction and uses those photos to show as work they have done but they never did the work. And Palm Construction's office in San Leandro is just a mailbox. No one knows where they are actually located.

I started working with Palm Construction when I wanted to replace my back deck this past summer. They were the most professional and well priced out of all the contractors who gave me quotes. Reuven was very nice and checked in with me regularly and made sure I was happy with the work that was being done. The workers did a beautiful job and added lots of details that really improved the look of my deck. I was so happy that I went with Palm Construction again when I decided to remodel my kitchen.All of the workers were very nice and the work on the kitchen was done beautifully. They put in new a new counter top and backsplash, replaced my old appliances, refinished the cabinets, painted and put in new lighting. Reuven came up with solutions when we ran into issues and worked with me to fulfill my vision. He was very understanding and if I had any questions or concerns, he would respond to me right away. Not just by text or phone call, but he would come over and look at the kitchen in person. I highly recommend Palm Construction and I’m planning to use them again in the near future.My only negative comment would be the people they had doing my electrical work left a mess and needed to come back to fix things that were not done. We had a number of remodeling projects on our to-do list and originally planned to only use Palm for our bathroom renovation. However, after experiencing the quality of their work, the responsiveness & ease of communication with the team, and their attention to detail, we ended up using Palm Construction for all of the projects on our list. This included 2,000 sq feet of siding, upper and lower outdoor decks, and a new pergola.This team was awesome from start to finish and we couldn't be happier with the final results. We started to use this company for the reconstruction of the front porch. Our house is over 60 years old, and when we purchased the property, the previous owner didn't take care of the house well. So, we had a lot of problems and needed to have remodeled, but we didn't know how to ask.Project manager Yonatan came to see us and suggested we remodel our kitchen, dining room, additional bathroom. He is so understanding about our needs and personable, so we trusted him. That was the best thing we did. He helped us to refinance, purchase the finish materials, also, design the interior.  We found many problems in wiring and the outside siding was falling apart so he also helped us rewiring and installing a new 200A main panel and replace the old siding with new and painting the entire house. We also made an additional back porch to stargaze. Without Yonatan's suggestion and help, we couldn't have this done. He was with us through the entire construction process, and he always answers our calls immediately to help us. The company's workers are very professional people. Update 11/01/21 - the company contacted us and after a couple of months, they have completely fixed the deck and it is BEAUTIFUL. It was so professionally done and they involved my mom in every step of the process. Thank you so much for doing the right thing and fixing it. We appreciate it!We hired this company to redo my mom’s deck, which was ruined by a prior deck contracting company. They assured us they would fix all of the problems the prior company caused (so severe it was taken to court and they had their license taken away), and seemed professional and like they knew what they were doing. We were sorely mistaken. They absolutely ruined my mother’s deck all over again, and are now refusing to return my mom’s calls or fix the gross mistakes they made. The county inspector wouldn’t even approve it and said it was done completely wrong and needed to be fixed. We don’t even know if it’s safe to walk on because they are ignoring our calls. They re-installed the balcony bars incorrectly and unsafely, and made a mess that will be impossible to fix. The deck is unfinished and looks to be just covered in asphalt, which they even got on the paint on the deck and we can’t get it off. We are disgusted by their work and lack of responsiveness, and will be pursuing legal action as a result. My mother is supposed to be selling her house this month, but because of their mistakes we will be losing tons of money on the sale. If you don’t want to be out $15k+, do not use this company.

Palm Construction does not take bids from Property Management Companies. I manage nearly 100 properties in San Francisco Bay Area and I have never had a company deny a bid because I am not the homeowner. That is ridiculous i have full authorization from the homeowner and the funds available. I have 30 project that need painting or remodeling and they straight up denied me a bid. Wow

Project managers, Shay Avioz and Eldar Bizi, are two of the greatest people to work with on projects. We had our roof replaced in September and just finished with our home's exterior painting. Their work crews were fantastic and just knew on how to get the job done. Debris cleanup is a pet peeve of mine but what I can say is that my property and that of my neighbor's were left cleaner than when the jobs first began! I realize getting honest and equitable cost estimates can be a nerve-wracking situation. However, it did not feel that way with Shay and Eldar. What I'm saying is if you have work to be done, contact Palm Construction and ask for these guys! Everything that was promised to me, they lived up to! My house looks great! Very well built and solid! This deck will last for many years to come. If my house goes down in an earthquake, this deck will still be standing!Thank you to Rafael and his partner! I recently used Palm construction for a roof repair and painting. I was happy with the roofers they were quick, courteous and professional. When finished they cleaned up everything nicely. I was not pleased with the painters though. They were hired to replace the trim around garage and then paint it. The trim turned out fine. But I was specific about the type of paint and color. The brand of paint I asked them to use was not. And the color type was not used either. Also in the process of the work they were doing they broke one of my solar lights. If you value your life and home, stay far away from Palm Construction. An extremely poorly installed exhaust fan created conditions for an electrical fire, toxic mold, and a ceiling collapse all in one. I wish I could say this was the only problem we had. Unfortunately, it is but one example of really bad work. The attached photos speak for themselves. Electrical wiring with insulation stripped back more than foot from where it enters the box. No grommet or wire retention at all. The vibrations from the fan could eventually cause the sharp edge of the fan box to chafe through the insulation, potentially causing an electrical fire. The exhaust hose connector wasn’t installed correctly, leaving a quarter inch gap for humid air to be blown into the attic space. Humid bathroom air in the attic is one way toxic mold forms. I do not understand why they installed the fan in the middle of where a ceiling joist was. Instead of selecting an appropriate location, they just cut through the ceiling joist. Who cuts a foot out of ceiling joist and thinks that’s okay? This was a net new fan install in a 1954 home that did not originally have a bathroom exhaust fan, just a window.Your life and home are worth more than contracting with Palm Construction.Service: Bathroom remodeling
