First of all I love grocery outlet.Now DO NOT BUY PRODUCES HERE. Not sure about other locations but typically they’re not fresh - which is visible for most produces but for avocados, you find out later, and I bought bad avocados there probably 5/6 times. Most of the time I don’t keep the receipts so can’t do much, but now I tend to just in case, few months ago they actually refunded me, but this time the guy didn’t even look at the avocados and told me “I know you’re a regular but you didn’t buy this here” and wouldn’t budge. Anywhere else when I bought bad fruits they refunded or gave me good ones.Well I bought one more avocado and there’s the same (same sticker). I posted a photo - the “good” avocado I just bought there - when I open it I see it’s already starting to rot inside

Will not go to this one probably ever again I usually go to the one in Arcadia up by my house above foothill. I go to this one sometimes as on way to vet in San Marino yesterday the girl working on register was so rude after I bought a bunch of stuff I walked across to look at a price on a item and she starts yelling from register I can’t walk w bag over and over I was like? And I also noticed she took a man’s backpack from him before he could shop! The one by my house is so nice and polite friendly people she was like a drill sergeant w zero trust won’t go back

This is a business I frequently visit at least once a week since 2020 and I enjoy most of the staff's attitudes but for the past few times I've gone and had a specific cashier during checkout, that positive vibe I share with other cashiers is diminished instantly. The name on the receipt says Tyler and aside from everyone else, he doesn't really greet or have a positive energy when customers are paying for their items to leave. This evening was no different except something happened when I tried paying for my 2 items. Usually I use my card to pay but this time I decided to use cash since I had some on me (and because I had 2 items). Once I handed him a $20 he seemed distraught, probably because he had to do extra work to provide my change. Once he had the change ready for me, I held my hand out like any normal person, ready to accept the dollars and change. The way he handed me the change was not proper and it was almost as if he was throwing it into my hand because a dime bounced out of my hand upon impact. Usually clerks say "sorry about that" or express some sort of fault but he did not. The entire exchange was awkward and I left feeling really disappointed in how it was handled, especially since I enjoy going there for any quick items I need. I definitely will be watching out for this person in the future and might have to consider if I want another dull interaction with him.

I've been here on at least five different occasions, and each time Grocery Outlet San Gabriel never has more than only one cash register open. This makes for a lengthy waiting experience, even on weekdays.They do get two stars for carrying a variety of products. I've found Keto Pint ice cream, Taylor Farms salad kits, and Rip Van Leos cookies here in the past. The prices are cheaper than most white American markets but not as much as Asian ones.Also, they used to have bathrooms, but now they don't, even for customers. What if people need to go? Not really convenient.

Great location for a quick grab and go item, as well as full on grocery shopping.What I like about this location is their products are very fresh and well stocked. They usually only have 1 cashier, but it move along quite nicely.They carry a nice selection of meats, deli products and coffee. Probably my staples here. Also, they ALWAYS run sale items on expensive items like Haas Avocados, trailmix, nuts, and coffee.It is important to mention their frozen dept is top notch. They carry a very nice selection of frozen seafood (fish, shrimp, scallops, salmon). They also have a pretty decent selection of heat and serve frozen goods.I appreciate the efforts the owners have been putting in ever since they opened. I prefer this location for many reasons, but a really nice bonus is their ample parking. Plenty of parking in their spacious lot.With a try, I recommend.

My favorite new discount food find. Daily Deals in the store, just have to look for them. Home to the Greatest Tasting Corn Chips on earth made by "Juanita's Brand Corn Chips" I go out of my way to buy them here. Best on Earth !!!!! Period !

when a "neighborhood store" *cough cough fail its neighbors. Multiple calls and messages to the manager/"individual owner" of this location - no call backs. When escalating the issue to corporate - also no calls back despite multiple calls and messages.Zero accountability. Zero customer support. 100% take your money and leave you hanging.

after eight months absent , I decided to give this store other look , and frankly nothing has changed ... hard to change a wild old Stray dog. the food is always below par... mold, mildew and smells terrible ..the service always below par, unfriendly staff , poor shopping environment ...although my checkout clerk was semi pleasant ...but overall something very unpleasant about the staff ..specially the stock people... coupled with poor quality food ... will certainly never returned.Mediocre line workers , always reflect inferior inapt upper management.Overall Very poor service - lower grade food

Rude cashier called me a liar (not literally) when I asked for the restroom key. He told me they never had one. I know for a fact they do. He’s not a new cashier either. Employees don’t seem to want to be there.

I like buying here. They have almost everything I need at really good prices. They only thing you are not going to find is fresh fish. However, you will find fresh meat (chicken, pork, ham or even turkey).They have a good wines variety with amazing prices and added discounts.You will find almost everything on the frozen department.They also have vitamins, pills, and diet supplements, also with competitive prices.The fresh fruit is good, and they have vegetables (although not a big variety).They also have a organic department with a reasonable variety of products.If you subscribe to their newsletter you'll receive coupons with even more amazing deals.The staff is always friendly and will help you find everything.They always tell you how much you saved comparing with other stores.The parking lot is big enough, I have never had problems finding a spot to park.

Surprised at the kinds of items they sell for such low prices. Premium cat food, organic vegetables, pressed juices and fancy pastas and sauces. Always a joy to shop here and find new deals. If only checking out was easier. Lines are usually long and slow. Watch out for expired food as well. I've found expired tortillas and teas. Otherwise, clean and organized.

The owner is Marvelous! Sweet charming kind and wise. We have great conversations when I can get over there. This store is Well stocked, clean, fast line (even during this Covid 19 times.) Makes for an overall excellent experience. I've been to several Grocery Outlets and this and Whittier are my favorites. Thank you guys.

All around great mid-size grocery store. Not the largest variety to select from but what makes this place stand out is the unique options you can find here at great prices. Very clean and well maintained and stocked. The employees here are all very nice and helpful. Locating one to help can be difficult sometimes as they have small screws for each shift. Store aisles are well labeled and spacious with lots of interesting options so shopping trip was enjoyable.

This store is usually quiet, which I like, but they can handle more visitors. I admittedly didn't know what to expect during my first few visits but I caught on quickly.Over many months, I've observed certain products are frequently on the shelves while some unique finds are gone once sold out. I welcome you to come in and try your luck at adventure shopping.

They are clean and usually well stocked. The cashiers are friendly. Expiration dates on food need to be looked at because some of them are close to expiring soon. Prices can range from good to average, and many items are unfamiliar brands, so you feel as if you are taking a chance at times. Also, as with other Grocery Outlet stores, the shelf tag prices are too often missing on items, and it can be hard to track down a clerk who can get you the correct price. That may be my biggest complaint, and it's the reason I've left without purchasing some items blindly. The positives outweigh the negatives, however. The restroom is clean but locked, and you'll need to ask a clerk for help.

It's literally what it says it is:An outlet store for various overstocked grocery items.The downside is that the selection of some items (like ice cream flavors) is a little random. But they're solid on the staples like milk or produce, and darn are they cheap... I've been here three times in the last month and never spent over $20.The best strategy world be to stock up on basics here first and then get anything you couldn't find at one of the other local stores.
