I have been a loyal customer at this store in Roseville ever since I moved here(2015), mainly because the food in the deli department has always been of good quality. Their salad, in particular, is consistently fresh and delicious. However, my experience has been marred by the presence of a highly unprofessional and unfriendly lady who serves food in this department. She consistently questions the way I prefer my food to be served and refuses to fulfill my requests, even when I offer to pay extra for additional items. This has happened multiple times, and it is becoming increasingly frustrating. Unlike her, the other staff members are always willing to make adjustments to my order. Despite this issue, I used to buy food from this deli department at least twice a week due to it being my favorite. Unfortunately, today the same disappointing encounter happened again. I was so exhausted and sleep-deprived that I couldn't help but confront her. The disappointment I felt was immense. From now on, I have decided not to purchase any more food from this deli department. Even though the food is undeniably good, I will opt to go to a different location. I just hope the taste remains consistent. I would like to express my gratitude to the individuals responsible for preparing the food, as it is indeed enjoyable. However, to that lady, if you are not satisfied with your job, it would be best for you to seek employment elsewhere.

This Safeway is so clean and organized, non-judgemental, the associates are kind, knowledgeable, and not once has there been a visit that someone hasn't offered help or said something kind, and they have great specials for members. Great job associates,!!! PP. S. The pharmacy is packed with caring, extremely hard working to make sure everyone gets their meds. Whether the pharmacists, Dr's, Pharmacists associates, MA's, etc, they are all very devoted to being at work long hours, to make sure people stay well, feel better, get information they seek about a health matter or OTC med, they are AWESOME. God bless you all. P. S. Even the restrooms are regularly attended. 5 stars and a hooray from this devoted shopper.

I went to Safeway for the pharmacy the guy that helped me was Samuel he was very friendly and helpful he took the time to explain about my work comp. Medication process which was a big help he took the time to even call the company... So next time I need to have a prescription filled I will definitely be back...

The person behind the sandwich counter took a little long to make our Reuben and did not heat it up as that was part of why I ordered that sandwich, but we were in a hurry already so did not have time to wait or correct them. Was not a great experience for a review. ☹️

Safeway is the one store I depend upon for my everyday needs. They have an excellent produce department, which keeps us in fresh veggies and fruit year round, and their meat department never disappoints. Their private label "Signature" goods are also good quality at a good price. I also love how their Fast Forward system allows me to pay for my groceries without even touching my purse.

This Safeway hires "Karens" that are rude to customers and that can't take accountability for disgusting behavior. If you're going to help all the people around you, but not the person in front of you, that you're supposed to be helping, then you're bad at your job. If you're miserable with your job, you should probably retire so customers don't have to deal with crochety disgusting behavior.**Update**I spoke with the customer service manager about my experience who then told me that workers are protected by unions and that customers are not the boss. Let's see when my money is spent at Trader Joe's, who the boss actually is. It's not good for businesses to have no accountability for rude behavior to customers, guess why, because they spend their money where people treat them better.

It's a good store with what you'd expect at a Safeway. My only complaint is the sushi. It's sliced so thin that that you can barely taste it. I'm guessing they probably make $1000 profit on every piece of fish. Definitely go elsewhere if you want your money's worth.

Cara (in the deli) was soooooo helpful!! Such amazing customer service! Didn't even need to ask, she overheard my conversation with my husband and took it upon herself to offer us what we were discussing. Love it! Thank you so much!! You rock!

A excellent grocery store to shop at. Gas prices are fairly Fair. On Friday is five for five that's a good deal. Safeway hasn't changed just improved. Still a great place to shop. They have an excellent bakery.

I have never felt so disrespected. Today a checker named Danielle told me to bag my own groceries. With an attitude. I asked why? She said you can help, or bag them yourself. I asked, why can’t you bag them or call someone to help. She said they are busy. I said, well I didn’t know I worked here. She then again said, rudely, bag them yourself! She turned to the lady behind me and said, I hate when people just stand there and expect me to bag all their groceries. I said, I want to speak to your manager, she shouted out the managers name, and the manager said she would talk to her. I didn’t deserve to be treated this way. The manager agreed, Danielle should have bagged my groceries and should have not been disrespectful. I am still in disbelief someone would talk to a customer this way. If I would have talked to someone as Danielle did in my job, I would have been fired! I have contacted corporate about Danielle.

I was at the deli counter but had left my coupon flyer in the car. I asked about the $6.99 deal for 6 pieces of chicken. The employee said they didn't know of such a deal. I assumed that I was wrong. They charged me $9.99. Back in my car, I found the flyer with the deal. It was $6.99. I even checked the date and fine print of the deal.I feel cheated by the store.

The people specifically in the bakery are absolutely amazing! Always super friendly and attentive. They make such beautiful items that are always delicious. I've ordered many cupcakes and cakes special and they have never messed up, always ask all the right questions and really help you get the perfect amount for any party. Also they have a pretty damn good selection on flowers and flower accessories

I went in to grab a few things for home and couldn't help but notice the team atmosphere that is going on!!! Every time I go, I get a Mocha Frap and in all honesty... THE BEST EVER!!!!!!! As well the young lady in there is so Darn Sweet!!!!!!!

I went to get fuel for my vehicle and was having trouble operating the gas nozzle, I don’t know what was different from usual but it just didn’t seem to work properly. I went into the station and a young man named seth came out and resolved my issue almost immediately! I’m so appreciative of his service compared to the service of most gas station attendants he truly seems to care about his job. Thankful for people like seth reminding me of the older generations.

This Safeway has really gone downhill. They often have bare shelves and cannot keep consistent employees. Twice this week I’ve had to run to the store for something basic. Once for green onions and another time for croissants. Both times there was none of the above. Produce and bakery were practically empty. Also, the amount of homeless that hangs around the entrance/exit is unfortunate. The parking lot is full of homeless trash as people living in their vehicles are parked either selling bikes or god knows what else. It’s gross and feels unsafe.

I like this story, I really do, but lately, the folks in the bakery often act as though I'm not there. I literally stood in front of someone, and they would not look at me when I clearly needed help. I had to get upset before someone else came and helped.

I recently had to apply for food assistance and I have to say some grocery stores will treat you differently (maybe I'm sensitive but shouldn't be) but I was treated with dignity and respect on my check out. The checker at Safeway gets a huge 👍 thumbs up and the discounts will keep me coming back.

I absolutely love this store! It is the cream of the crop, and my favorite grocery store in the Roseville area. Clean, bright, and extreemly well organized. Their top notch employees always make me feel welcome and are quick to help if I have a question or can't find what I need.I gave 4 stars, because they are quite expensive if the item isn't on sale. I can't always afford to shop here at the end of the month. But honestly, this store deserves 5 stars anyway. You won't find a store of the same caliber anywhere in the area and if I could afford too, I would never shop anywhere else.

This is a very nice Safeway store. The Employees are very nice and helpful. The store layout is very easy to find what your looking for. If not any employee will show you were to find that item. The store and parking lot is always clean. The location is safe with police driving by. Once in awhile I have seen police waking around giving shoppers support.

Oh my goodness what can I say about this place.I come here at least 4 times a week if not more, My husband is very outgoing and he knows most of the people there at the registers as do I.So we get to catch up and say Hi.I remember one time I went in and somebody was harassing me and I went to 1 of the people at the registers that I knew and within minutes the person was asked to leave the store and I was escorted out, Just to make sure of no retaliation.Love my Safeway.

I usually go here for the deli sandwiches even though it's hit or miss. This last time was a horrible experience. The meat was rancid! Omg I've never felt so sick to my stomach in my life. :( I suggest you goto Raley's instead. I wish I knew about Raley's,along time ago. There meat is always fresh cut, bread is always soft, they have better selection and it just tastes sooooo much better than that used leather taste you get in your mouth at Safeway. Trust me it's like Night and day. Goto Raley's you won't be disappointed.

Probably one of the better supermarkets out there. It’s always clean a tidy. They have a wide selection of things and they have great customer service. Sometimes the lines get long and tiresome but overall a good place to shop at.
