This is the 4th time I've taken my English Cream Golden Retriever to Best Paw Forward. I won't take her anywhere else! They all are amazing and so sweet to Abby. Prices are reasonable considering the amount of work that it takes to clean my big furry pup! Her fur extremely soft and she smelled fantastic. I feel bad for them having to put up with her barking when I leave, but they have never even mentioned it. When you make your appointment, it's for that time! No squeezing in and waiting all day for her be bathed. That's huge for me. They are so gracious and accommodating, never rushed. Abby looks spectacular after her visits there. They are the best!

Edit: Unfortunately the review below was for one visit, the girl that cut his hair must not work their anymore because no one was ever able to cut it the same way or even close to. I brought in another pup and they basically butchered his hair. 😕So cute! My mom always used to get him shaved down way too much I voiced my concerns and the staff came up with a wonderful solution. Tight teddy bear cut, super appreciative, love his new cut ♡

Called in and they scheduled me right away, took in my Maltese and was 100 percent pleased with the results. They bathed him and gave him a trim, took care of everything for a great price.100% Recommend and will be definitely come back.

I want to start out by saying I have two dogs that have went to this groomer a few times which were positive experiences. We had no complaints about the grooming and they had no complaints about my dogs prior.However, I took my dogs to the groomer at 10:30 am today and received no status update on either dog until 2 pm, saying that they are done being groomed. I called to tell them that we will be a moment to pick them up, when they informed me that one of my dogs was barking all day and needed to be picked up immediately. They also said that my dog will not be allowed back unless we stayed and waited with them due to noise complaints, which never was the case prior. I’m assuming they had my dogs separated all day, causing extreme stress on one of my dogs. Whereas, at other appointments they kept them in a large crate together and we had no issues.When I picked up my dogs, my large Great Dane mix dog was in a crate so short that he could not stand up in, when I know they have larger crates. He is also now limping and I’m unsure why.I won’t be taking my dogs back here because they seem stressed and maybe hurt. The grooming was good but not worth the stress.

Tried out a new grooming place to get my dogs nails trimmed since we just moved to CA. We came here for a walk in nail trim and while the gentlemen was cutting her nails we heard her yelp since we stayed inside to wait for her. We carried her to the car and when we got out of the car to go on a walk after the visit she immediately started limping. Couldn't have been from anything else since we didn't let her walk until after we left. Its been 3 hours and she’s still limping so just hoping we don't have to pay a visit to the vet because of this.Other than that they were pretty nice.

The gentleman who tended to both my dog's nail trimmings was extremely kind and helpful. He handled my dogs with so much care and you could tell he enjoyed his job. I was very impressed and will be returning to this location in the future for all my grooming needs. They have my recommendation.

I will never come here again! This was my first and only time coming here. They told me on the phone and in person it will be $70 for each of my pup's. But when I go to pick them up and pay they changed the price and said one $90 and the other $80. Never herd of a place changing prices after agreeing to a price from the begging. I usually go to Jon's pet grooming which I've used for couple years now where they are much better and charge much less! Do not recommend this place. There quality is not worth there rates at all.

Took my dog here after a horrible experience at another groomer. They did an amazing job and my dog looks so cute now. He has always apparently pooped himself out of fear, and he didn't do that hear. It was such a great change of pace and he looks adorable. Before when I got his coat cut this short he came home with razor burn and was miserable. This time he came home and was just as happy as he could be. It was such a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Used to go to expensive Petco then they refused service to my rescue dog cause she didn't like having her nails trimmed being not used to it! She not a biter, just whines & fidgets a lot. Said she was too much trouble. So I found Best Paw forward!!!! Yay!! I don't have to wait a week for an appointment & John knows exactly how to handle her & gets her done in 5 minutes!! What a professional!!! I can usually just walk in if I don't mind waiting 5-10 minutes. All staff there are really good but John's a dog whisperer. And so affordable!!!!!! What a concept! Excellent service with great prices & caring people. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Screw Petco. Tell all your friends this is the BEST animal groomer in town!!!😊😊😊

This place is excellent. I wanted to bring my aging kitty in because she doesn't clean herself as well as she used to. I contacted the owner and he set a non-stressful appointment for her during the week when there wouldn't be as many dogs (No weekends for cats. Too stressful for them with all the dogs). When I arrived he greeted me like we were old friends. He took great care of my old cat, and we couldn't be happier. I feel in John and Kim, the owners, I don't just have a groomer for all my pets now, I have friends.

My dog is a Skye terrier/shitzu mix (maybe), mostly mop and rug. He's a skittish rescue and Best Paw does a fabulous job with him. Their stylists keep a cute yet functional look and he comes back happy and smelling lovely.

Best pet groomer in Roseville. Always accommodating, friendly and helpful. Clean, sanitary conditions and pet holding spaces, they truly care for your pet. My dog always comes out looking amazing. Wouldn't take my girl anywhere else. Love them!

this place was horrible i took my dog shes a golden doodle and i came back 4 hours! later for a $100 Doller bath and she looked the same after 2 hours at the house 0.5 stars also the guy there was talking and talking for 5 minutes about how he was doing all this stuff like giving her a "special" washing and drying which was 30 dollars but at the end it was just a bath and dry

Not a fan of this place anymore. Took our little bichon poodle mix Ollie for a third grooming session today and they didn’t finish his face and paws stating he was being snippy and biting. Ollie hasn’t bitten anyone and will only be snippy if someone is too aggressive or harsh with him. Also like I mentioned earlier, he’s had 2 other prior visits at this same place and we’ve never had this issue and at each visit we mention Ollie doesn’t like getting groomed and has anxiety. Very disappointed in this place. Not sure if the owner guy was having a bad day or what but didn’t do anything to resolve the issue besides tell us to book with a girl who doesn’t mind getting nipped. Disappointing. Will not be coming back here.

I was referred to them by a neighbor a couple years ago and I'm so glad I was. I need to bring my dog in more often than I do, but the I wish the owners, any employees, and their business success. They work hard and have always gone above and beyond for me; stayed open for me as I was running late to pick-up my pup, I dropped her off looking like a hot mess and when I picked her up she was the Heidi Klum of dogs; really good-looking LOL, clipped the nails of my other dog who came with me, etc.Happy camper here.

I can't think of a place I trust more to take my pet than best paw forward. The staff there are the friendliest and they care they care a lot about your pet. The owner is a wonderful man he goes out of his way and above and beyond all the time you can tell his heart is in it. You couldn't put a dollar amount on what they're worth at best paw forward.

We have a 9 year old labordoodle whose grooming got away from us. He had long hair and it severely matted. We went to another groomer who woluld not tackle what needed to be done to him. Best Paw Forward not only took our dog but did a fantastic job. What was also amazing they did not charge an arm and leg for the work. All our friends cannot believe how well he looks. Thank you!

I bring my lab Jack & American Bulldog Abby for baths, ear cleanings, nails & teeth. John and his assistants treat my dogs & me like family & do an excellent job. I couldn't be happier with the way they look or how they are treated here.

I brought my husky shepard mix that is 1 year old and he fought the bathing the entire time. He came out looking so good and it was cheap compared to other places. They really earned these 5 stars.
