The associate who help us was really nice and knowledgeable about the type of fish we wanted. We wanted the tropical fish. He let us know we did have to get the tank and water ready and wait a week before we could actually put the fish in. Hence why there isn't any fish in the yet. Update: we got the glo fish and 3 snails. My 4 year old is really excited.

I came to this place to train my dogs with the help of a wonderful trainer named Jacklyn. She is very passionate about her job and loves dogs. She never gives up on them, and I found her dedication to be very impressive. After 12 lessons with her, my dogs showed significant improvement, thanks to all of her hard work. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a great trainer for their untrained dog. Not only did she do an excellent job with my pets, but we also became good friends and enjoyed chatting with her. Happy and Friday, my dogs, loved her as well. I want to thank the Petco team for having such an amazing worker at their place.

Yikes, I came in here and there was a robbery in progress!! Some guy was running out with bags of dog food. The manager noticed and tried chasing him but he was long gone. She said that was the third time he has done this all in one day! Idk maybe move the pallets of dog food away from the front door Petco?? Just a suggestion. Also it seems like inventory at this store is aggressively mediocre.

Ordered online then1 item wasn't available. So I lost out on the buy 1 get 1 50% off and would've liked an equivalent option to get the promo. Then I had bought items and the sales person didn't even use the coupon attached to my pick up order.so I had to back in and get my refund, then he didn't return my original receipt. So if my cats don't like the food how am I to return it?

why does this place always suck? there’s usually workers that are “too busy” to help people. no organization for online pick ups, and weird how they ask for your id after the went all the way to the back to grab the items & are about to hand them to you, then suddenly grab them out of the customers hand because they “need to see id still”. that sums up maybe why their store sucks? excuses as to why no one has helped their customers who have been waiting 30+ minutes for help. petcos are usually top of their game but this one must not have managers or workers. i tell myself this every time but i definitely won’t be returning to employees who could care less about other people’s time.

Ask staff which tetra fish was on sale. The staff member said all tetras are on sale. When i get to the register only two types were on sale. Instead of making the situation right I was required to buy 2 more of the fish that was on sale to get the discount. Poor customer service.

Went to Petco to purchase a bird cage and a bird feeder, the service there was like what you would expect from a so called Sundown Town. I will never recommend the Petco located on Canyon Springs Parkway. I returned the bird feeder, if I didn't need the bird cage I would have returned it also.

Once again, we went to another location, no one that solved problems and given the same story. They really do care about your pets here. They only want you to follow their rules, and it is like they know they are the only place that carries this prescription cat food in the area.

Every time I go in to PetCo, there are sick Guinea Pigs! I know this, from experience. I bought a young Guinea Pig from PetCo & I didn’t know she was sick with pneumonia. Her lungs are damaged from the pneumonia & she had asthma now & has to go to the vet for medication and asthma treatments.You need to stop buying them from “Guinea Pig Mills” & start treating the ones that are sick!I am seriously considering boycotting your store.

Time to get a few healthy goodies!I don't feed my Chihuahua that garbage they call dog food tho. Most of that stuff can make your fur baby sick and shorten their lives. Make the right choices they depend on you!

I signed up my two dogs for separate private training lessons with Jaclyn. She did an amazing job with both of them! Jaclyn is friendly, caring and really caters to what each dog needs. She was patient when my dog was having an off day or was feeling anxious. We learned so much from her! 10/10 recommend.

Went in to look for a cat. They had none at all. Looked around at the fish. May also get a fish along with the cat. What a combo lol. Asked sales clerk about different cats. Very knowledgeable. Place was clean not stinky.

The staff are great, but there were almost no shopping carts. The person at the register said most had been stolen. I felt bad because there was an elderly person asking for one. I had to carry 50+ lbs of cat litter to my car. The employee offered to help, but was the only cashier and there were other people in line to check out.

Dishonest employees that will try to overcharge and force customers to pay donations when checking out. Pay attention to the checkout card reader. If it flashes through donation and you didn't input anything. The cashier is trying to pull a quick one.

Scamming you in the "Clearance " section. Products are labeled for the regular price or more than the regular price and call it Clearance. Brought it to the attention of a staff member and was told I was wrong even though I was showing her the prices on the website.Their rewards program is a joke now as well. They keep making the amount higher to get 5 measly dollars back. And they're dry food rewards went up to 10 bags instead of 8 to get a free one. Don't let their "rewards or Clearance " fool you. They're ripping you off like all big businesses and they don't pay their staff enough to care!The buy online and get 10% off looks like a great deal but if you pay close attention you will see the prices online are more expensive than what it is in the store. So you're really not getting 10% off. You're just getting someone to pick out your order and have it waiting for you. It wasn't that way a year ago but ALL the above situations and shady deals have started recently. They're making it harder for people to take care of their animals and feed them decent food. But trying to portray that they are doing these wonderful things to save you money.I honestly never complain and I used to love Petco. But all the above has made me really leary about shopping there anymore.

Mason was very helpful and showed excellent customer service techniques. He could have just shown me what products I needed but he went above and beyond to help me understand what I needed for my planted tank and explained what each product did and why it was necessary. That's good customer service! Will definetly be returning! The first associate I talked to was also excellent, after listening to what I was trying to accomplish she led me to the right area and got me the associate that would be most knowledgeable on the subject instead of trying to sell me things she did not know the true depth of. Awesome job petco! You guys manage to be a large retailer that still offers the help that you would find in a small mom and pop shop.
