Everyone here is great! Our new dog is a little bit wild and a lot strong and they are so good with him. He's not an easy doggy to examine and the doctor and staff here all patient with him calm and they make having to go to the vet a not too bad experience at all.

I have owned dogs my entire life and I have never met a vet like Dr Troxel. She is professional, honest, personable and cares for my dog as is it was her own. I’ve had a great experience with the tech staff and front desk, as well. It’s a very stressful experience, taking your dogs to the vet. The staff at East Valley Animal Hospital always seem to help ease that stress. Thanks again!LA and JJM

Unapproved $40 charge is my only complaint.I've been here several times, and overall highly recommend this vets office. We've seen 2 vets here, and both have been extremely knowledgeable, graceful, and generous with their time and answering of questions. On our latest visit however, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes. Ended up being a nearly $1k visit unfortunately. The thing that bothered me most was the $40 charge to have a vet tech show me how to give my cat insulin, which I was not informed I would be charged for. It just felt like being nickeled and dimed, especially given how expensive the day already was, and that I paid an exam fee already for that visit.

On Monday we took our sweet Gloria to East Valley on a walk in. She was very ill. They took us in right away. Sierra cared for her with the utmost tenderness even though she was nearly 18 and probably not going to make it. She wrapped her in a warm blanket and put her on a warm bed while we decided the best thing for her. Dr Troxel was kind to her and showed us the options. We decided to go with comfort care at home which they respected. The next day Kayla called to check on Gloria and on us which we really welcomed. And by early Wednesday morning Gloria had passed When we took her in later that day for cremation, Sierra treated Gloria and us and our grief with dignity and empathy and honored Gloria with gentleness. We so appreciate the whole experience. Thank you, staff🙏🏻😪🌈

I've had a difficult time finding a good local veterinarian. I'm so happy to say I've found one. Dr. Troxel is kind, honest and gentle with the animals. She helped my 12 year old German Shepherd over the rainbow bridge awhile back. Each staff member made the experience the best they could considering the circumstances. I was so greatful to a place that would allow me to be with my girl as so many places expect you to drop them at the door. I would not drop my sick child with a doctor and I'm not f going to do that with a pet for any reason. Also I just took our new puppy Alfie in for his wellness exam and again a wonderful experience with Dr. Troxel and staff. You can also get an appointment here within a reasonable time, or walk in bit be prepared to wait. They are reliable, friendly and affordable. Thank you.

This is an excellent pet hospital. It is the cleanest that I have been to in the area and has no odors, as a hospital should be. They are also caring and professional from my experience.I took my 17 year old cat Max here after reading all the positive reviews. She was unable to eat or drink anything and acting very confused, I knew something was very wrong. I left her overnight to receive IV fluids and medication. When I went back I was told her unfortunate diagnosis. Unfortunately she was suffering from kidney failure and an intestinal blockage. It was delicately brought up that putting her to sleep was probably for the best because she was suffering and was too weak for an operation. They could have recommended more treatments and it would have cost more money, but Dr. Troxel knew my Max was suffering and told me the truth. Her honesty was very much appreciated. It was the hardest decision of my life. I grew up with my Max cat from my teens, 20's and into my 30's. She was always there for me. They gave me so much time before having to decide and when I did, they gave me even more time to say goodbye and call family to say their goodbyes to Max. Never once did I feel rushed during this difficult time. Looking into her emerald green eyes as she went to sleep broke my heart and still does. I was a complete mess and never have grieved like that before. I'm just so grateful that the staff and Dr. Troxel were professional and understanding.I took the loss of my Max extremely hard, I'm still struggling but getting through it day by day. The staff even sent a sympathy card and they signed it all with comforting messages. That was very much appreciated and touched my heart during my mourning. It is not every pet hospital that takes extra time and cares about their patients. Picking up the ashes of my Max made me emotional and speechless but they offer such a beautiful cremation package. I was honestly in shock by how nice the wooden box, name tag and everything was. Holding my Max's paw print again made me smile. It just felt like it was done with honor and respect and gave me comfort. This was my first experience at the East Valley Pet Hospital and when my heart is ready for another pet I will most certainly be back. I highly recommend you bring your beloved pet here. They are professional, caring, and respectful. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Troxel from myself and my family.

This is one of the best pet hospitals I have ever been to. The vet's and the tech's are kind, gentle and caring. They took such GREAT care of Wiley. She was back on her feet in no time. This place is clean and bright and they have a rehabilitation center on site.

Extremely kind staff and everyone was very thorough in addressing my concerns. My dog was having reverse sneezing episodes, so I took her in about 30 min after they opened in hopes of getting her seen without an appointment. They were clear about the cost of a walk in ($68) and that the wait time can be very long without an appointment. Due to the heat, they allowed us to wait in a room inside. We were in and out in a little over an hour! The vet addressed my concerns and recommended x-rays to rule out larger problems. Again, they communicated the entire process to me and prices of everything. My doggie left with medicine and x-rays all within this time. Very good!

I have been seeing Dr. Chauhan since the beginning of EVPH in Mentone. Periodically I have had to see other vets but feel most at home with Dr. C. The staff is always professional and friendly, giving me time and compassion. I've tried another vet closer to me but came back to EVPH!

My dog was a patient of Redlands East Valley Pet Hospital since 2011. She'd have her yearly check ups and care for whatever shenanigans she'd get herself into. On July 24th 2021, my dog unexpectedly passed away. I was heart broken. Learning that they offered cremation arrangements through a third party, my Husband and I brought our dog here for the last time. Upon arrival I was crying my heart out. My family member, my baby, had just passed away. I got zero compassion from the Vet. In fact, she told me, "there are other dogs out there. You can get another one." I asked her to please examine my dog because I was lost for answers. Why had this happened? I wanted some kind of understanding. The dr left, came back, said she believed it was heart failure. No where in all this is she ever showing any compassion. There was one woman at the front desk who was decent enough to ask me if my dog had a bad cough. She was at least trying to get me to feel like I was being helped. I can't stress enough how upset, heartbroken, and crying my eyes out I was. It would have been a completely different experience for me if the vet wouldn't have acted like this sorta thing happens all the time. No big deal. I'm sure as a Vet she had her share of animals passing away, but this was my first and I seriously needed to be consoled and I was not. Where was the kindness when I needed it most?

Definitely impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and everyone there were helpful and respectable. No price gouging or trying to over-sell. Dogs are a very good judge of character and my lil buddy TIGG has "never" felt so comfortable with any Doc before, but was very relaxed. I will be bringing my other two fella's here also! And it's nice that the Doc takes the time to respond to all the feedback. As a Business owner myself, and do the same, that speaks volumes of hot much they care! :)

On 6/17/2022, my son and I took our dog Spike in to be euthanized. I had already taken him to a few places in the last 24 hours. I was hoping to end his suffering as he was slowly and painfully dying from Parvo. I told to wait outside til the technician arrived. We waited for maybe 40 minutes or so, nobody arrived. He ended up dying outside in my car.Responding to Owner's comment;I am sorry Sir or Ma'am, but why would you assume I would be going back to your clinic to seek services once more? The people who were working that day allowed my pet to painfully and inhumanely die. It was unnecessary and needless. Especially since it doesn't take much to euthanize an animal. No. I will not ever return to your clinic or recommend your clinic either.Thank you but no thank you.

I moved to the area and had no established vet for my dog. She ate a 7oz Hershey kiss... the whole thing! I took her here with very little expectations. The staff was very professional, explaining the payment process at each step of the visit which I like because I felt I knew beforehand what they wanted to do before they did it and how much it would cost. I ended up having to put her to sleep that day due to kidney failure. Again the staff was very professional and knew how to handle this stressful situation with dignity and respect for myself and my dog. The Dr was very compassionate but not overly sappy which I liked. He gave me all my options and was very thorough in reading all the results. He was supportive of my decision and when he came in to put her to sleep he even asked God to please forgive him and was very sensitive to my dog even though I am sure he has to do this all the time. A week later they sent me a personalized card with their sympthy. When I got my dog's remains they came in a beautiful cedar box with her paw print, a bit of her hair, and seeds to grow to remember her by. This far exceeded my expectations and was very sweet closure for my two boys. Overall I would definitely recommend this vet hospital and will certainly take my next pet there.

They are very nice and have always seen us the same day. They have flexible hours and good staff. They tend to be a little pricey but they get the job done. We had to have one of our pups euthanized and they we're very sympathetic, placed us is a private room and allowed us to say goodbye. Had to leave one of our dogs there for a procedure and they were nice enough to call with updates until she was ready. Overall a good experience.

Wonderful staff and the doctor was excellent. He took time with us and explained every procedure to us that was needed for our dog. His staff had a detailed quote completed and went over it with us before care was given. I really appreciated that. The office and hospital is very clean. I felt secure leaving my dog there for his procedure. The staff kept in touch with us about how he was fairing throughout the afternoon. Just amazing customer service.

We took our dog in for some shots and also a bump she has on her back. In the process of that she had to have some dental work done along with the removal of her lump on her. It was hard to leave her although now that it is done we are so happy. She is like a puppy. They have treated us with such love and also compassion. We received calls each day after surgery to check on her for 4 days. They are so caring and will not hesitate to continue to get all our needs for our precious baby done. They are really busy and that tells me that they are the BEST. thank you so much to the wonderful doctor and his amazing staff.

I just wanted to leave a review specifically for those that have a big dog that may have anxiety or be vocal or nervous around new people. I took my 1 year old German Shepherd here and she is a noisy dog, she is very alert around strangers and protective of my mother and I. I’m not sure if the nurses and veterinarians are not good with big dogs or noisy dogs but they weren’t very friendly with my dog. They didn’t attempt to familiarize themselves with my dog just because she was barking, she was barking because she was in an unfamiliar place around strangers so it’s understandable to me why she would be barking. When she was brought into the exam room the nurse didn’t try to talk to her much and just went straight in to take her temperature. My dog doesn’t know her so she was uncooperative and continued to bark. I will not put all the blame on the staff but I will say they weren’t very good with my dog because they didn’t attempt to calm or comfort her. I will say my dog did snap at the nurse and that is not okay for her to do but the nurse was a stranger getting close and personal with her while not calming her or communicating to her. She was getting shots that day so I feel that they should have been more friendly with her especially because it was her first time. Any other Vet I have taken her to, the staff was much friendlier and familiarized themselves with my dog to comfort her. Because of her barking they deemed that they were unable to give her an exam and still charged me for a full examination. My mother was the one to take her here so I wasn’t able to experience this first hand. But I called and I was told she was given a visual examination because of her behavior. My mother did say that the doctor did not even attempt to examine my dog and he only took notes that he could not examine her because she was barking. I am disappointed to waste my time here and having to put my dog in this situation. So I leave this review for big dog owners or for dog owners with loud or anxious dogs.

They saved my dog and are so personally professionally. I ran in with my dog, blood on my arms, and without skipping a beat they took her in and confirmed she was stabilized. I was nearly sobbing from fear of what injuries happened from the dog bite, but the staff stayed calm and let me have space to calm down. They kept me updated and took immediate and amazing care. My dog has been back to her normal self before the two week mandate of the cone collar. I would've never expected such quality and personal care from any other facility. The doctor recognized me and my dog each check up, so I definitely feel a huge trust in the staff. I just can't thank them enough, my heart is glowing with warmth now that my baby is back to her regular life. :)

We loved East Valley Pet Hospital. We moved far away and no longer go there but we had a very positive experience. They were always able to take our dog anytime we called. Our dog injured her knee and needed surgery. They were so helpful and spent the time answering our questions and helping us along the way. They reviewed all options and made us feel good with our decision. If we were still there, our dog would be in their new physical therapy program. They are on top of technology and cutting edge treatment options. If you live in Redlands or surrounding area, this is the nicest, friendliest and cleanest facility around.

I have taken my Labrador here for all her veterinary needs since she was a puppy and I've always been happy with the service and care. Kelly is extremely nice. She always greets my dog which makes Bindi relaxed. I took her there for her annual shots and they were very professional and price was reasonable. We were in and out quickly. Highly recommend! Loved my first experience here! The vet was knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and friendly. The facility was clean and roomy. The entire staff I met was all friendly and helpful. Most importantly they got my little pup diagnosed, and sent on my way with medicine, and she's already showing signs of feeling better!
