Not a huge selection of stuff for your pets but a cool variety of exotic pets. I just got my first tarantula from here and I'm very satisfied. Just wish they had more to choose from when it comes to supplies.

A local institution that has returned to the downtown core -- ethical and knowledgeable about all sorts of non-human family members from fish to reptiles, birds to cats, and dogs to ferrets -- if you love it, they have the feed, the care instructions, and the knowledge to help you take the best care of your favorite living things (non-human)The staff is warm and friendly, they are a bargain for the quality they provide in supplies, and if they don't have it they will gladly point you in the best direction to get it.Absolutely recommend and am glad to have them back in downtown.

Hasn’t even been a full day and I had to watch my budgie take it’s last breath. A traumatic experience and I am completely in shock that when I called back the girl on the phone had no empathy and the first thing that came out of her mouth was the no money back policy. Wow! Talk about not caring about your customers or your animals!

They give you sick animals I got a bunny and two guinea pigs from there and the guinea pigs had mites and it costed a lot of money to cure them but the hospital didn't cur them so me and my family went online and searched how to get rid of mites and we found it and then cured them with neam oil and the bunny had all sorts of is it was diagnosed with and costed lots of money my bunny had a yeast infection th that didn't get better then one day in her cage she was just sitting there shaking and wouldn't move it was at night and she was suffering so we took her to get put down-thisis my story don't buy from them unless u want a sick animal but we get there nails cut there because there is no other place and one of the workers said that the people that get the animals just find them and don't do a check up..

I took my Cockatiel Carl for a trim of his wings and nails. The girl at the counter was patience and gentle with him. She was also very pleasant. I recommend Darlys Pet Shop for your birds needs

I used to recommend them to everyone but this place has gone downhill. Prices were always higher than the box stores and I never had a problem paying a little extra to support a small business, usually getting better quality. Over the years everything has gotten so much more expensive here that it's now twice as much as other small business pet shops in the area for the same or lower quality. Employees are not nearly as friendly as they used to be, like their attitude has changed and they're not so happy to talk to you. Parking sucks at this location, it's never a quick run in unless you're lucky enough to get there as someone is leaving. I'd rather drive to the next city over to shop at a small business with more competitive pricing and happier employees.

This place is super adorable and very welcoming, they have a lot of birds and there's this one bird that loves to look at himself in the mirror and is infatuated with himself, I hear that's a bad thing but he doesn't seem to be particularly bothered. The fish look like they could use some extra care but all in all is a very nice place if you're interested in looking at some interesting little critters!

We normally have good service when we visit. The staff has been generous in allowing myself and my children the opportunity to hold many of the species of animals they carry.I appreciate that they only carry rescued cats and kittens and puppies.We have bought, 2 snakes, a kitten and a beta fish as well as many different types of animal supplies from them. We also buy feeder rodents there every week.I do wish they had more pet supplies as I often have to buy from Petco and I would rather support a small local retailer.My family hopes to be a supplier of ball pythons in the future.

Five, ten, fifteen and twenty stars. I love Daryl's pet shop. I love Daryl's pet shop!!! Everything about this shop is great. From their friendly employees, and the owner Josh/ Daryl and his wife, and their beautiful baby are the best. My 2 snakes are picky eaters, but Daryl's pet shop always accommodates me. I usually call to see if they have what I need, and since they know and order extra, I can always get what I need and more. How many other places go above and beyond for their customers?? Not many, but this place is phenomenal. From snake bedding to dog treats and everything in between: Daryl's pet shop is the only place to go. I have been to another pet store in Yucaipa, and it was good; but a little too far to drive. Thanks Daryl's pet shop for being amazing, you deserve an award for being fantastic on a daily basis.

As a long time customer of Daryl's I must say that shop still never ceases to amaze me. Now the new location on State Street was a great location for Redlands residents and visitors. It is always neatly stocked with merchandise. They have lots of reptiles and small creatures to choose from. The employees are super knowledgeable and friendly. And they are always welcome to see your pets. The groomers have excellent prices and over 20 years experience and bathers who are true animal lovers.

Their staff really helped me when I was trying to decide on a type of snake that I wanted. I had done some research but it was so helpful to bounce ideas off of a knowledgeable staff. Will be back again! Store was well stocked and very clean. (I heard I had to try their grooming services for my dog)

Daryl's Pet Shop is a great local pet shop which has come to be known and loved by many people in Redlands. We like the idea of being able to support a good local business so we will often times come here whenever we need something for one of our cats or dogs. However we also like to come here even when we may not necessarily need something just because its fun to look around and see what new pets they have in. For being a small shop they have a surprisingly decent selection of pets from cats to reptiles. We would definitely recommend any fellow pet lovers in the area check this place out!

The owner Darin is very knowledgeable in all areas of his shop. I have only bought his fish from the beginning and I will be a loyal customer. The staff there is very friendly and assist in any way I could need. Prices are comparable to the big companies but his animals/arachnids /fish/reptiles are in much better health and the quality is easily seen.

Definitely love the homely feeling this store brings, such as a local petstore should. They have a variety of animals that range from standard to exotic. I do love shopping here for the tarantulas. I mainly go for the exotic creatures, and this store definitely has them.

I would not recommend any establishment who discriminates based on race, gender, class, religious or political ideology or for any other reason. This establishment, without personally knowing my friend, refused service to a wonderful man solely due to his political views and community involvement. He simply walked in to make a purchase and they asked him to leave because "we don't like (his last name) here". Apparently in America these days, we don't judge someone on the content of their character, but rather on the color of their skin and if their ideologies match yours. I will never do business here and I will make sure to encourage others to do the same.

This is based solely on the grooming. Sandy is amazing. My little man was always depressed when we would go get him after grooming and after trying it here I can honestly say my little man is so happy after grooming. Going back!I do wish that they carried some cute cookies for dogs that were poultry free. I did go a few months ago and asked about it and he said he would look into it. Will update on that.

This place is awesome My husband and I have been coming to the owner for years for advice and tips for our big snakes and lizards. This is the best pet shop I have been to within 100 miles nothing tops it. Sometimes they have dogs sometimes cats. Birds and alot of really cool fish plus this place is clean and smells fresh unlike others that smell like pee.

Would rate a 0 if I could after my experience today. The woman behind the counter was condescending and rude beyond belief. Possibly the worst customer experience I've ever had in a 3 minute interaction. I understand sometimes people have bad days, but this was really the rudest anyone has ever been to me at a pet supply store....how can you be that miserable and angry working around animals all day??? Maybe find a new job if you are that unhappy in life, because there is no way our polite and cheerful greetings earned that attitude so all I can think is the woman hates her job or life or???

The staff was very knowledgeable & saved us a lot of money by not having to go to the vet. They were able to help us with our kitten. I felt secure in the products they were referring to me. One product they even referred me not to use because they were not 100% sure about it being harmfal to my small newborn kitten. They spoke to a vet for me & were really making sure my kitten was safe.

My son wanted a snake for Christmas, well actually he has been wanting one for years. I can honestly say I went to the right place! I didnt get the name of the man who helped us, but he was awesome! Understanding of my ignorance and offered some great knowledge! Left there with a beautiful ball python, and everything I needed to know on how to care for it. The man went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, I highly recommend this shop!

Basic pet store:) *** We will definitely not be coming back to Daryl's Pet Shop!!! We bought two water feeders and as I was putting water in them they leaked everywhere. I couldn't even get them in position as they continued to leak profusely. I dried them off, put them back in their packaging and took them back to the store. They would not take them back. They said something about they only took returns within 2 weeks but nothing, absolutely nothing, to that effect was printed on their receipt. They would not even give us a store credit! I ended up throwing the products into the trash outside their door because they were completely useless! I also bought some CBD drops for my older dog. I found them online for half the price. I could understand a couple of bucks but when you're paying that much money, to find something half the price was pretty crazy and a huge markup!!! We will not be returning:(

Sandy has been taking care of my dog for 8 years. I have never had a problem when she takes care of his grooming needs. I love her and she loves my Augie and takes very good care of him. He gets scarfs and other stuff each time. She handles him with the utmost love and care! I wouldn't take him anywhere else!

Tanks are dirty, all infested with snails and duck weed. Went twice here both times the staff where very rude and l all moody. They here to make the quick buck, and not help out with the fish hobby not a good LFS!! They could had a costumer for life if they where a bit nicer but instead never going back would defiantly not recommend this place, couple other places within 2-3 miles of this place that are way better service and selections.

I went to this pet store earlier today. For what I've seen it was nothing like those fancy pet market rather than small family pet store. I mean which is good because staff are usually more knowledgeable about pets and stuff. I went and I got like some algae and some fish food for my snails, and I also got 1 ivory mystery snail because I only had golds, and 1 tiger snail and 1 zebra. Last thing, that lizard by the door was massive like MASSIVE..... LOL

The shop is locally-owned. They have the best prices on all feeders. Occasionally have rescue cats and dogs. They do not have any animals that come from puppy mills or cat Farms. The staff is always polite and the owner goes out of his way to connect customers with the right pet.
