Oh my gosh I had so much fun at this store. We're looking at putting in a little water pond. Something small with a little water Lilly out two. They were so nice and so helpful. We spent at least an hour in there with them. I had fun playing with the koi. The little white one has a pretty fantastic personality.

Just recently had Jacob come by and tend to my pond recently. GRADE A customer service. I don't think ill have anyone else do the work. super friendly and very knowledgeable. quick and tidy with his work and on time. Will probably build another pond just to have him work on it.

Just had a very upsetting experience with Katie at San Diego Pond and Garden. My elderly mom had a new pump for her small water feature installed by them at Christmas time. Two months later the pump stopped pulling water through the system, and when she called she was told it would cost a minimum of $230 to come and look at it.This didn't seem right to me so when came to visit I called to ask about it. When I reached Katie she said that while the pump was under warranty they would indeed charge a minimum of two hours to come and see what the problem was.The fact that San Diego Pond and Garden does not back their work for a job that is barely two months old is disappointing, but even more disturbing was the way I, and then my wife were spoken to on the phone. Far from understanding or helpful in any way, Katie made us feel as if we were the problem. She refused to discuss any options and talked at us rather than with us, making it difficult and frustrating to get a word in. We tried to converse with her for some time but when she made an analogy to clogged toilets we said "thank you" and hung up.The experience left all of us feeling berated and completely dismissed, and we will certainly not be doing any more business with San Diego Pond and Garden.

I drove out to San Diego Pond and Supply today,. Based on the photos and reviews, I expected a well stocked store with a pond, fish, pond accessories, and possibly a selection of plants. I found nothing that looked like the photos. One room, poorly stocked, no pond, no plants( though a woman said later this week),only bare Koi tanks outside. Was I in the wrong place? I would never driven 45 min to the store I entered today..

This was our first time visiting. We were greeted by the employees, and the store was nicely organized. We were able to get the supplies we needed, and their koi tanks were nicely stocked and very clean. They had a good selection of aquatic plants. This place will be our new go-to place for pond supplies.

Absolutely joke. After 3 weeks and 8 phone calls from Bryan and Steve, who refuses to even look at a my pond. They asked for pictures and they wanted to charge $358.00 to take a look. They can’t be bothered to even drive to my house. $80 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours to clean the pond then they wanted another $99 an hour to quote me what it would cost to fix it. This is all without seeing it in person. Terrible customer service. They act like they are above you. Just a joke.

I needed help with plants for my first tiny little pond. The staff here was extremely helpful and patient. They helped me puck the right plants and explained how to care for them. Very happy with my little pond!

They can do good work, If they show up. It has taken them at least a month to do my fountain. They say they are coming the next day & don’t show up, no call nothing. I would no recommend them.

This company does not stand for customer service! One of the employees there personally wrote down all of the sizes and equipment I needed to build a pond in my back yard and when the liner didn't not fit from his employees recommendation the owner would not exchange or return it. I was told "Oh well try and sell it on ebay and buy a new one" - keep in mind i paid over $300 for the first one.Also, before purchasing all of the equipment I was given a quote in writing and when I purchased the equipment a few days later the cost was over $500 more than my quote.This company is not trustworthy and has horrible customer service. Use caution when trusting what they say.

Great place for koi pond information, equipment, and supplies with a great and friendly staff. They will help you the best they can, if they can't, they'll tell you who can. I really love the honesty about them. There are cheaper options for the stuff you buy, but not equal in service.

I really like the new (well not that new) location... More open and inviting. I wasn't always pleased with the service long ago but I gave it another try and was very happy I did. Very helpful and answered all my questions and gave me guidance on how to clear up my pond.

The water is so clear! Nathan did a great job. Our pond and waterfall were yucky and they removed plants and cleaned out all the gross stuff. The fish are happy and so are we. Beautiful!
