I love the rustic feel of this place. The owner is kind, along with everyone who works here and they treat everyone with a lot of respect. I love the natural beauty surrounding the building, and the access to nearby trails and locally owned convenient stores and restaurants. The fresh pine trees that you smell as you walk along the trail brings a nostalgic good feeling,and they provide cozy rooms with a home like feel. I definitely recommend coming to stay here at Pine Valley Inn Motel. If your looking for a great place with great rooms, great value, and cleanliness is golden…. Then keep on looking because this isn’t a place for you… a very basic room couch has stains all over it fold out bed very uncomfortable carpet is a bit sticky in parts… and to add to that they charge $10 per night because they need to do extra cleaning because of the mess they cause… they kicked out a family of 6 two days before Thanksgiving… Great work guys

I am a Nurse, translator, and a word or more. We need a room that is being stripped, remodeled, no carpet, no bed, no linen, painted and caulked from the muddle if the floor to the middle of the ceiling. And we will have a tile setter and plumber make a new perfectly white bathroom. I know this is not normal but it could be a new fad. I am just a nurse. Thank you for the opportunity to work on it maybe.

Stayed here in March 2020 and just thought to make a review because I was just remembering how kindly we were treated. There was a man (I think his name was Mike? But not totally sure, he was an older man) who was a relative of the owner. He was honestly so cool and helpful to my sister and I when we were in a tight spot after backpacking and we couldn't be more grateful.Rooms were clean, staff was lovely. Mom and pop kind of business which is definitely a plus. The diner down the road has awesome food. Would totally recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night as we moved across country. We arrived late, and the woman at the desk was very nice, and very helpful. We were moving with our dog, and they were very pet friendly! The room was clean, and very nice. The view when we left the next morning was beautiful. We like to support local businesses, and were very glad to have found this along our way, we plan on going back to stay again!

Cheap rooms low standards. The rooms have not been remodeled for years bathroom old carpet old bed not comfortable. You get what you pay for. So I left 4 days early..

Rating based on $100/night rooms. Beautiful view to wake up to, surrounded by trees and crisp air! Memory foam layer on the mattress so it was comfy. Thin blankets but the heater almost cooked us out of the room so no worries there. Good little spot. Vending machines were dead empty so get snacks elsewhere. I'll stay again if I'm ever passing through.

Easy courteous check in.. room is sparse and don't expect a chain hotel stay.. think more cabin..? Stay was great until 3 AM when our rude neighbor decided that the rodeo (and the circus) was coming to town.. lots of headboard banging the wall.. I hope she can still walk.

Came here for a small wedding around the area and had a great night here at the inn. Super relaxed atmosphere and the AC saved me and my partner. Vending machine is convenient for late night munchies, wifi and cable kept us busy till the wedding. I'd definetly recommend for those looking for an affordable and good night's rest.

Love this place a place to hang out after a long lobster Dives in October. My son and I found this place by mistake and I think it was one of the best mistakes I've made. Beautiful surroundings a nice view of all the pine trees and mountains. Great for hiking and eating.

Rustic setting away from the rat race. Clean rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Wifi and cable TV. Decent rates. Friendly staff. Very quiet and peaceful area. Close to the 8 freeway. Pet friendly.

They were very nice and took very great care of us why we were there and were very nice people and kind hearted as well. I would tell everyone to go stay here if you are ever in this area. What an amazing find. Beautiful area. Lg rooms but a little over furnished. Has large porch to sit n view mountain..nice walking paths for a state park right out our door.

The customer service of this motel is better than any other I've stayed at (and we've stayed at a lot of places considering we have lived in 4 different states on opposite sides of the country). The rooms may be outdated, but the views are beautiful, places they recommended we eat we're great, and the people were friendly and helpful.

Everything was wonderful! Comfortable beds, clean rooms and a great staff! I was passing through town and they went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed for my hike. Five stars hands down!

Great little cabin style inn with clean rooms and good rates. I stay here whenever I work in the area. If your lucky enough you'll get to meet Tom and have time to visit with him. Thanks Pine Valley Inn.

Beautiful location the exterior makes you feel like you're in the lodge. However the insides could use updating like new curtains and fresh paint. Front desk staff was awesome

The website quoted a different weekly price from what I paid. Otherwise a decent no frills place to sleep and shower away from the rat race in San Diego. Friendly staff and great eats at Major's Cafe a short walk away.

Place is a complete dump....period. If anyone can give it a higher rating then they don't travel and are comparing it to a cave. It appears people live in the units, smoking outside with it getting sucked in through the AC. Place is old, outdated, and in need of everything.

Great place nice people ,very clean polite well kept ,i needed a place with a weekly rate for my family while in a transition , they exeeded in every way.!!!If you need a break on a weekly rate but dont want to be at a ("no tell motel full of dopers" )Then stop looking now and take the drive its worth it !!our stay had turned out to be longer than ever expected ,but hands down pine valley inn has been wonderfull and has made my family feel at home while we were without one , thank you

Lovely clean comfortable motel. Staff are helpful, friendly and professional. Love sitting outside the room relaxing having coffee. Close to restaurants, grocery store a quick walk and pet friendly with good wifi.
