The employees here are always very kind and helpful. Cashier asked if they had the chews because I had grabbed the CBD powder and it's $44 I really don't know how the powder works. Another employee found these chews for me and brought them to me I was very thankful for the help both the cashier and the other employee for helping me out. That's why this is my favorite PetSmart location.

I wish you could give negative stars. I took my dog here to get his nails trimmed. He is not aggressive, but he will pull away from you and it's hard to do alone. A woman with blue streaks in her hair and an eyebrow piercing was working with him, and she was SO aggressive and unprofessional. I watched through the window and she pulled on his legs, and I was waiting for him to jump off the table. I went in and told her to stop, at which point she said another groomer was going to hold him. I told her I do not want her to be aggressive with him, and if that is what it was going to take, it wasn't worth it. They have a sign saying no customers in the grooming salon, and I think now I know why. Do not take your pet here. They will not treat it like family.

Today I review, tomorrow I contact corporate. My wife and I thought we knew what poor customer service was, until we met the vile Maria G. Today we adopted our first dog. So, keep in mind, we ONLY HAVE ONE DOG. Anyhow, my wife took him in for a grooming and was told to come back at a specific time, which was fine. So, she showed this person all of the necessary paperwork to get that part out of the way and left. When she returned at the agreed upon time, this blithering buffoon began accusing my wife of trying to "swap a counterfeit dog!" Saying it was.nkt the same one from earlier (we have ONE dog). And when my wife was happy to show whatever pictures and documentation she had on her to prove MARIA G wrong, she had the nerve to lie and claimed she had overheard my wife saying how she "had just found THIS dog on the street." So I guess the idea is that we bring in one, come back later with no dog, find a similar dog nearby and walk around the store talking about it? Maria G, you are a feeble minded, rude, unprofessional clown and I'm making it my mission to remove you from your position like the cantankerous wart that you are. 😉

Some of the staff were snooty with our questions. The restrooms are out of order because the water is broken. Also, how do the fish feel like that tiny tank is 3000 gallons because of the whole water circulation system?

Nice clean store. Some of the kids here are polite and helpful. They seem to be a bit short handed on employees but overall this store is my favorite.

First, I would like to share my appreciation for Brittney, in store management, who was kind and professional in helping me with a return. It was stellar customer service through polite conversation.I love this location. The store is always impeccably clean, vast products on shelves, and plenty of helpful team members on the floor as well as at the registers. Thank you Brittney and team for going beyond excellence.

Natalie the obedience trainer is "the dog whisperer". to me she seemed very young to train dogs, but boy was I wrong. We took the 6 week training session with her for pups, and she has a way with dogs like I've never seen. Our insane little 4 month samoyed was all over the place, but natty was able to teach us things from the 1st class. She has a lot of patience and experience with all types of dogs and has love for canines that is unparalleled. Its totally worth the money. Christie the groomer is awesome as well, she keeps our white dog looking like new cotton😁😉. This petsmart has exceeded my expectations and always feel welcomed here.

I was looking for a dog trainer for my dog and came across Pet Smart in Pico Rivera. Communication is the epitome of poor customer service. I walked in on a (Monday), paid for the service, and was assured by a manager that someone would contact me by the end of the day. Neither the trainer nor the management team ever called. The manager I spoke with when I visited the store yesterday (Thursday) indicated that the trainer won't be there until the weekend. They should've informed me of this right away so that I to look elsewhere for a trainer. The management at this location is at fault for failing to tell us, customers, the status of their trainers. I am hoping that the trainer will call me this weekend. And I'll get the best training possible for both my pet and myself. If I had the ability, I would rank the management here. 0/10 They must become more efficient in how they manage the company.

I was physically impaired and decided to place an order for same day pick up/ curbside because i could not carry a large or heavy item I needed. They canceled the item I needed so I walked in for an alternative and asked family for help to carry it. To my surprise the shelf was fully stocked and the staff couldn’t tell me why they canceled the one item that was obviously in stock. I will not be coming to this store again.

The staff and employees are great and extremely helpful. My only nag would be a slight change in overall cleanly less, now it could have been a off day for the cleaning crew or something or perhaps some accident occurred with a animal but there was a bit of a overall stench in the place mixed with what seemed like moisture lingering somewhere.

I went to buy some bedding for my guinea pigs and I noticed that they had this adorable male guinea pig which I was interested in purchasing, I made line and I informed one of the cashiers and she notified me that she would be asking one of her coworkers to help me out since there was nobody on the floor to help out. I waited for over 20 minutes (during these 20 minutes a worker just passes by not even acknowledges my family and I) and we keep waiting until we ask the cashier once more for help and she replies with "EVERYONE IS BUSY" right after this she goes and helps a family that was there way after us. Sadly I had to walk away without any of my items and the guinea pig. Really poor customer service and nobody on the floor to help!

So I went to Petsmart the other day to fullfill an order...my customer ordered a 15 pound bag of dogwood I found the home for that brand pretty quick so I started to look for the specific flavor and was not able to find it there was probably like 5 employees in the store I was the only customer in the store at that time and you know that not one them had the brains to say hello...goodmorning....can I help you with anything...no they just let me go in circles...like a dog chasing its tail...I gave up looking, grabbed the 5poundbbag of the flavor that my customer requested and took it to the lady at the register and asked her if they had it in a 15pound bag...she was really nice and walked me to the area where I was searching and asked her coworker and he looked at the small bag I had and said oh its right here...but he was mistaken...he finally found the right home for where my pick was (it was plugged)and he didn't even scan the tag...he just said were out!!!Useless!!!If it wasn't for the lady at the register I would of gave them 1 star

Customer service was great!! My kids & I were lost in the store and an associate assisted us right away. Very cool calm guy helped us. Products he recommended were great but a little pricey. Our kitten was happy though 👍👍👍

Took great care of my German Shepherd. Had to have surgery and the doctors were great. Good follow up and nice to feel safe during these COVID times. I take all three of my dogs here anytime they are ill.

Took my fur baby in today to be groomed. I'picked her up and was NOT advised she had been cut. It was not just a knick it is a full on cut on the webbing of her hind leg. She will never go back for grooming with Teresa. If I could give ZERO stars I would!.

Great service by manager. I had a coupon emailed to me which would not open while at the store. It kept saying site was down. I rebooted my phone, and the manager and i watched as I signed back on and still unable to view coupon. She was able to override the coupon on her end, and I was able to purchase my items and go home. She saved me not having to go back today, and i thanked her profusely.

Everyone is very helpful. Store is very clean but could be better stocked. Some items have low inventory. However, pets are treated like VIPs which makes up for everything!

Majority of employees have always been helpful and have helped us with any questions we have had about food or products. Just had Santa Clause for pictures free of charge for the animals.
