My Great Dane Athena had broken her nail on Monday due to some zoomies I waited a couple days to see if it would heal on its own and it started to get worse I called everywhere and no one was able to get her in until the following week. Perris valley veterinary clinic took me within the next hour ! I was extremely impressed with their costumer service as well as pricing! My dog is a very skittish and nervous animal around other humans and animals, they did everything in their power to assure that she was comfortable and cared for to the best of their ability during her visit. Staff was very sweet and kind and explained everything in great detail that they were doing to her! I will be coming here as a returning patient as this vet clinic is by far the most patient and caring!They definitely went the extra mil with her and i HIGHLY recommend this clinic!!

Took My dog here because she had a swollen face due to a tooth abscess. They got her in for teeth cleaning and tooth extraction the same day. I had a great experience and the staff is nice and caring.

Excellent care! If you love your pet, definitely take them here. A week ago I received outstanding care for my German Shepard. The receptionist was very pleasant and the vet tech was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Sharp is amazing, he listened to all of my concerns, did a thorough exam, was kind and gentle to my dog. He discussed all of my options. He was concerned with both the welfare of my dog and my budget. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Please note this vet has only owned this office for the last month. All of the negative reviews are prior to that and are a reflection of the previous owners. The new owners and staff are amazing!!!

Took my pitpull in last Tuesday due to me being worried come to find he needed to get an emergency neuter due to an enlarged ball. The vet scheduled him the next day..They continued to help me with his recovery by providing support over the phone and even took him in the following week to check on the on his recovery...the care the gave my old man words....can't even express my gratitude. Thank you so much for all the help and love you provided in our time of need.

I took my sick dog, to Dr. Gabriel Flores at Perris Valley Animal Clinic based on a recommendation. We were initially offered a discounted rate and quoted specific prices for tests. However, the final bill differed significantly.Furthermore, despite payment, Dr. Flores refused to provide a complete set of test results, including the missing test result, or the stool sample. Additionally, he diagnosed my dog with diabetes but withheld a critically important insulin prescription. He also mentioned a thyroid issue but refused a prescription for that as well. He only offered expired medication and antibiotics prescribed under a deceased doctor's name. Dr. Flores displayed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior throughout our interactions.We requested the missing information and authorized prescriptions on multiple occasions, but he refused. Due to his lack of care and ethical concerns, we sought treatment elsewhere. Tragically, it was too late for Lucky.This experience caused significant emotional distress and frustration, not only due to the financial implications but also because my dog received no treatment despite the visit.I urge potential clients to carefully consider their decision before visiting this clinic. Transparency, professionalism, and patient care are crucial aspects of veterinary services, and my experience unfortunately did not meet these expectations.I was forced to seek help through the California Veterinary Board to urge a review of Dr. Flores's practices to ensure animal well-being is prioritized and such tragedies can be prevented.

I would like to formally express my discontent and describe the atrocity of an office visit I experienced with this veterinary clinic. To begin, I noticed that my cat was lethargic, and I was concerned about her health. I started calling various veterinary clinics and animal hospitals in the area and was offered a 1 PM appointment on the same day to examine my cat.Upon arrival, I checked in and was quickly seen by the veterinarian on duty. I expressed concerns about my cat's lethargic behavior and inability to eat or drink water. They quoted approximately $1200 for initial services, including x-rays, bloodwork, (overpriced) medication, IV fluids, and an overnight stay. I informed the veterinarian that this price exceeded my budget, and I wanted to create a comprehensive plan within my financial parameters.The doctor insisted on doing X-rays, but I recommended waiting until we could diagnose or rule out infections in my cat's blood. I agreed to all other initial suggestions and left my cat in their care for 24 hours. The front desk mentioned they would call me around 4 PM on the same day with an update, but I received no call. The next day, I called and spoke to the veterinarian, who said they had no diagnosis due to being behind on bloodwork.Frustrated, I urged the veterinarian to create a comprehensive treatment plan and asked about a probable diagnosis and a timeline for care. The veterinarian responded condescendingly, expressing frustration and anger at my questions. He told me to “take my cat home” at the end of the day. Later, I received a call at 4 PM to pick up my cat, but when I inquired about the blood sample, I was told to speak to the vet.Upon arrival, the front desk workers tried to force payment before discussing my cat's potential diagnosis. The veterinarian avoided me and sent me with a rude, condescending veterinary assistant. After 24 hours, they blamed me for not agreeing to x-rays and notified me they had still not sent out the bloodwork. I expressed my frustrations to the assistant, who responded combatively and refused to work with me. She told me to go somewhere else after I questioned why they administered antibiotics to my cat without having proper data to assess if an infection was present. My cat should not have to suffer because of their inability to send out bloodwork. (Blood must be fresh for sampling before coagulation occurs.)At the end of the consultation, the vet assistant insidiously attempted to add extra costs not initially included in my bill. I am abhorrently disappointed in the lack of professionalism and empathy in this practice. As a person of color, it is disheartening to be spoken to in such a distasteful manner. I paid nearly $1000 for services that did not support my pet's ailments. The California Veterinary Board has previously fined this veterinary practice for malpractice. I highly recommend avoiding this institution. Their lack of knowledge and desire for profit is evident.

Took my baby here and they were amazing! Manny was very detailed and explained everything in a calm and respectful manner. He made my cat Ozzy calm and was very gentle on my baby. Definitely recommend this place!

Poor service ! They didn’t even say welcome or good morning when you walk in . Workers look stress out helping no one . They don’t have vaccines available . Never had a problem here but this under new ownership is a mess ! Please get your stuff together

Took my dogs here today for walk in vaccinations and it was perfect. Nobody else was in there so there were no smells or sounds that freaked out my dogs. Tech that gave the shots knew his business and my dogs didn't even flinch.This may have been atypical but whatever, my dogs were happy so I was happy. 5/5

If you care at all about any of your fur babies you will not bring them here. My friend lost her dog due to their negligence and inability to provide good care. Dog was perfectly fine before dropped off and died shortly after pick up due to a neck injury they caused. DO NOT GO HERE!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Imagine taking your pet in for a routine grooming service, and then your pet dies after 6 hours in their care. The worst part is they didn’t even call for pick up until 3:30 PM (30 minutes before closing) I’m truly sick to my stomach that they could be so negligent with animals. Anyone with pets knows that they are a part of the family and losing one feels like losing a loved one. I hope the clinic compensates for this tragedy.

I have been going to Perris Valley Vet for over 30 years and appreciate all they have done for my dogs and cats. They truly care about animals and are straight forward when it comes to letting you know about any illness or prognosis. Some people may think of this as being rude or not caring, but I feel its better to know straight up what you're dealing with rather than be led on and wait. Their prices are very reasonable and they don't do unnecessary treatment just to make a dollar. My pets have always been treated with love and compassion and I wouldn't trust any other staff with my fur babies. I will be using them for the next 30 years! I highly recommend if you are in need of veterinary care for your pets, give them a call. Brenda

If I could leave zero stars I would. I brought my dog to this vet for a groming and vaccines. He was there for almost 7 hours. His nails were clipped but smelled bad still ears were still dirty. I told them they simply but dog perfume on him and wiped his ears which are still dirty. Do not bring your dog here!!

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!!!They did an absolutely horrible job of cropping my dogs ears. One is visibly longer then the other one. When they took the stitches out, the wound popped open. They restitched the wound, but left open cartilage out so it would have never healed. My dog ended up having to get staples and now possibly reconstructive surgery.The older blonde lady is the rudest woman I have ever met, running around like a chicken with her head cut off. She ended up giving my dog the wrong vaccines, even after I showed her his vaccine records. They clearly do NOT know what they are doing here. Save your pet and go somewhere, ANYWHERE else!!!

Took our Doberman to get his ears cropped, we were quoted a price of $500. We went through the process of getting his ears cut stitches removed and was told to come back in 2 weeks once the scabbing was healed. Came back to get the ears posted and was told only them that I had to pay $40 for each post! You have to go 4 days with a post and 2 days off so that’s $160 a month in posts and could take up to 3 months to fully post his ears. That’s about the same price as the surgery alone. They NEVER told us I’m the beginning about this hidden charge ! When they post the ears for $40 they put a cardboard roll inside the ear with tape around it, took at the most 2 minutes to do and wants $40 each time! Total rip off being not told this! Took no concern of caring for the ears before taping so the hair torn off him and skin, should have shaved the hair first before taping if I’m spending $40 a drooping do it right! Go back and this elderly blonde woman said I was rude and disrespectful the last time about the hidden $40 charges that she wouldn’t even look at my dogs ears that are scabbed and bleeding, she told me the only way she would look at my dog was if I paid the extra $40! And if you choose to do your own propping she said that if any infection happens to the ears they will not be responsible for anything! With they would be up front and forward about ALL costs from the beginning!

My Chorkie was hit by a car. I came in with him wrapped in a hoodie and clearly panicked and in pain and the Doctor took us in right away. She was so attentive and caring and spot on with her diagnosis. She didn't try to upsell me or do/offer any un needed tests or treatments. The pricing was upfront and honest as well.

Never coming back!I left my dog for a bath and it too 4 hours and they left him horrible. He still smells weird and his fur has way too much fallout than normal and definitely overcharged on what you get.

I’ve had my dog there several times thought they might not be very good but i have a relative in Maryland she’s a vet. She says the vet here is doing what she would do. So that’s good enough for me. I’m not a vet. When i have had problems they always find a way to squeeze her in so she gets looked at. The staff is friendly just thing vet might not have the best people skills. But I’m 265lbs bald look Like a biker. and myDog is an American standard bulldog which looks like a pit. Which intimates a lot of people. She’s 90lbs The vet has her down to 87lbs and her limping is getting better.

I had my dog Nana put down to rest and the technician Manny was super, he was kind and gentle was very carrying. He helped me so much and having to the hardest thing for my loved Nana. The staff was very good as well. Thank you Manny for making it not so devestating for me in laying my 12 year old companion to rest.

Dr. Charles Hopek and all his staff are Very Caring and professional. We recently lost our family dog due to lymphoma (non curable) and he was strait up what was best for our cherished and beloved pet Isabella. After our pet's passing, the whole staff personally signed a sympathy card. The arrangements for our beloved dog were done with total care and came out much better than we expected plus ahead of schedule. I came here for vaccinations. The person who gave her her shots was very kind and a caring nature towards my dog he wanted to make her comfortable when she was terrified and was quick and painless. He walked me through anything I should know. I will come to this clinic again.

I took my dog to get a nail trim and every time I go they want to cut her nails OUTSIDE and they tell me that I have to hold her... The whole reason for taking her to the vet is so that I don't have to do that. I can't hold her while she's getting something done that she doesn't like. She's extremely spoiled and always gets her way. Anyway her nails are getting too long so I took her. The lady started cutting away and then she CUT my dog and my dog was bleeding. Then she gave me an attitude cus of the way I reacted... How would u react if they cut ur babies nail and it started bleeding? Very unprofessional.

Dr. Hopek is the only vet I've ever been 100% satisfied with, for years now. You can tell they care about the animals here, they are no nonsense and very compassionate. Their groomer Diane is also great! Always does a fantastic job on my pomeranian mix. My dogs love everyone here and I love knowing they're in good hands! Highly recommend constantly to family and friends!
