The best sausage in town. When I need sausage, breakfast, hot Italian, mild italian, whatever it may be, this is my go-to spot. My new favorite is the spicy bacon bombs. Oh my goodness, it's so good, country style pork rib wrapped in bacon, spicy, salty, sweet, simply perfection. They have a huge variety of meats you won't find at the grocery store, alligator, boar, venison, and so much more.

It's an awesome experience 😜They have bathrooms--2 for public useThey have a little area where they have a donkey and some pigs in a cup of goats and chickens which is cool for the kids to see or your dog if you bring your dog to visit buddy...And the meat products here are Paramount.I've been coming to Bud's meats now for 25 years and I think that it is worth every dime you spend.I even get dog bones--you can buy a larger bone and then they'll cut it for you if that's what you need.You'll never be disappointed with any cut of meat that you get when you go to Bud's meats.That little table on the outside so if you want to sit while somebody else goes in and peruses the selection that's fine.Whatever you are going to have/a barbecue shopping here will get the best selection of meat in Sonoma county...

The butcher at Whole Foods recommended Bud's for organ meats, so I went looking for beef heart to add to my dog food recipe. Nice selection of game meats, if you're into that, as well as great-looking pieces of cowboy cut and other steaks. Super helpful woman gave me some background on what they do and showed me their selection of meats. I wasn't expecting such a large selection and was a little overwhelmed. Will definitely go back to try some of their sausages.

First time here and the staff was extremely helpful showing me their wide array of meats, both ranch raised and wild game alike. I settled on the Kahlua and coffee tri-tip steak. The prices seem extremely competitive considering the quality, selection, and marinating ingredients!

They have an amazing brisket they pre marinate. It’s delicious. They do have some meat that is hard to come by such as duck, goose, elk, etc. they also have a variety of jerkies and tri tips. Very cute local gem to check out

First time to Buds really excited! Have been buying their meat at Farmers Markets all over North Cal. Must try if you want fresh meat package seasoned meat too. The southwest chicken is a must!! Pricing is reasonable.

Came to buy pork casing and pork to make sausage. It is our first time making it. We came with a few question. First of all we waited in the store for about 5 minutes while 3 women talked in the back never said hi or can we help you. I asked for some help and the lady seemed so annoyed. She acted as if all my questions were so weird, and had no idea what I was taking about, really unfriendly and made me feel like I was totally putting her out. Well thanks but no thanks, won’t be going there again. One last thing, I remember when our daughter had her pig processed by them and I thought the same thing. Not what you expect from a local family business. Very disappointing.

Been a bucket list for a good minute and finally got it !! The service ! Excellent got help by a wonderful employee! 10 out of 10The parking ! Pretty good 9 out of 10 ! Lol I did park right in the front ! ,The hand crafted brats !! Love them 20 out of 10 !Not tu expensive to be honest is not that expensive , I would definitely recommend it .Live it !

We called and asked for 2 8 oz filet mignons for our Christmas dinner. Every person I met was friendly and there to help. The steaks were among the best we've had. If you want quality meat, Bud's is worth the drive.

Buds custom meats amazing with the variety of meat that matt has and the cuts and marinades are the best you can find in Sonoma county if not northern California its prices are in line with the quality u get.oh and the smoked hams are tender and juicy.5 star prime rib cuts that are my favorite great for holidays or a nice party with friends. Recommend highly 👍

I used to love this place but way to much silver skin to be concerned a quality butcher shop anymore. I bought a couple elk back stripes and a bag of deer jerky. Now I get the silver skin on the uncooked elk and can chalk that up to a lazy butcher and handle it myself but when a bag of deer jerky is riddled with silver skin it shows complete disrespect for the customer and if it was just a little here and there I could understand but every piece of jerky had silver skin in it. Hopefully they will snap out of it and give the customers a better quality product in the near future.

This was our first time using Bud's Custom Meats. The whole process of the Custom Cut and Wrap was seamless. Bringing our steer to them for kill was super easy. Everyone there is super friendly and they did an awesome job. Thanks to everyone at Bud's. We will be using you in the future.

Definitely go here for your holiday entrees; their smoked turkey and smoked ham make perfect, easy to cook, delicious centerpieces for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas (if you celebrate either). This is also the best place to get whole ducks (also delicious). Plus they're the only place I know of to get tasty elk and wild boar sausage. Support your local, sustainable meat processing business!

Great experience with a 1/2 hog order. They are the preferred butcher for many farms in the bay area. Their workmsnship is clean and every package is labelled and easily identifiable. Will definitely use again for future purchases.

They were very covid safe with sanitizer outside before entering and no more than three people in their small retail space. Their meat selection was great- the usual beef, pork and poultry, but they also have venison, elk, wild boar, goat and I don't know how many more. Great friendly service as well.

I was tired of buying meat that boiled when I cooked it because there was so much water in it. I thought I couldn't afford Bud's. I still mostly buy their ground beef because of budget concerns, but I'm so pleased with the quality and flavor of Bud's. It actually browns! I also like the tenderness of their cube steak. I get a lot of mileage out of one package by using it for stir fry and stroganoff. Their pork chops are moist and flavorful too.My parents raised their own beef and pork, so I know this is the way meat SHOULD be. I'm also pleased that I can be sure that all of their meats are organic with no antibiotics, hormones or other unnatural stuff they do to commercially produced animals these days. Bud's is just plain, old-fashioned meat, just like I had growing up.

Just got my lamb back, looks great! I had a couple questions about my order, so I gave them a call. Joe answered the phone, was very helpful and answered all my questions as well as discussed options I may like for my next lamb. Very happy with their service and support. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their own meat processed.

This place is quite the find. Heard about it from a friend and this is some of the best meats that I've purchased ever. Prices are a little bit more than a grocery store but it's so worth every penny. Only reason this isnt a 5 star is the young clerk at the front was not very pleasant. Didnt say a single word the entire time I was there. He almost looked irritated that I was even shopping. Still spent 200 dollars. I would come back for the meats alone but I was disappointed by the cold service. I dont expect much, even a simple hello would have been more than enough.

Awesome shop. Had just about any cut or kind of meat you could want. Picked up steaks, tri-tips, baby back ribs, bbq pulled pork and even a huge smoked bone for our dog. Prices are really good and staff is friendly and helpful

I'm so disappointed! This is the 3rd time i have gotten my lamb butchered and wrap by them. I noticed they take the fat off so I called them 3 times to asked to leave the fat on. They said they made a note of it. I'm making my leg of lamb now and they cut all the fat off again! Ugh! I paid like 500 all together for this grassfed lamb and I feel like all the fat has been cut off, which has robbed me of my yummy lamb experience. The good fat is what really makes he complete leg of lamb experience. Makes me wonder if they skim the the fat off to make sausages or other things. I'm totally bummed. They assured me my instructions of keeping the fat on was going to be communicated to the butcher. It either wasn't or it's just protocol to skim the good fat off their customers' orders to add to their other products. Maybe other people don't notice or car about having natural fat on their meats but I do and that's part of the big reason why I get my animals from the source. I feel robbed. 😡

Buds is great. It has so much to choose from and very good quality. The jerky is one of the best things there but if you don't get there quickly it will be gone. Don't let that happen by getting there quick.

I drive there from Napa to get all our meat - the Santa Maria cowboy ribeye is the best steak we've had. Love all the cuts, smokes pork chops, sausage. And the staff is so friendly.

Really miss living down the road from this place. Their meat is out of this world good. The pork chops are next level. Friendly and helpful staff. I live in Montana now and nothing compares. Wish I could overnight some of these things to myself!! 😫
