Took our long-hair pup in for a bath + deshedding and Kaylana did an excellent job!! She clearly took time and care in brushing him out and called us as soon as he was ready to go. Highly recommend the Grooming department! The store itself is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly. Plenty of parking too!

Male customers beware, the manager of this store is not just unfriendly and uncaring but she HATES MEN in particular and her job! She refused to allow me to use an unoccupied gender neutral restroom, reserved for customers, Her tone and demeanor needed NO Explanation!!! I made my purchase and likely will go to FARM SUPPLY in the future.FTB

My wife and kids went into the store today to buy a little fish to add to our new tank. They were questioned about every single thing with attitude & they were extremely rude! Then the employee refused to sell one fish to her because they required her to buy two, but then refused to sell her two fish because we did not have a 6 gallon tank. My kids left crying because they were so excited to get their new fish and were told by the employee they would not sell us one! Very unprofessional and they don't listen to their costumers.

I used the vital care plus and with all the coupons I get from my food and other purchases, I was able to save $50 on my $100 purchase! That's half off. I also get to save on food purchases for my pets. I like being able to return things without any hassle if the items don't work for my pupper (I got little boots, but they were too big for my dogs weird shaped feet), and we could exchange them for the right size without any problems. The staff is so friendly and helpful, and we are always able to find exactly what we want, and there is always a good variety of items (grain free, simple ingredients with healthy grains (gluten free for celiac pet owners), etc.) at reasonable prices. Using the app is also easy and allows for quick finds of deals and coupons for items that I buy regularly. It also lets me know when I should be buying things for my dog (sometimes it just tells me to spoil her... Haha... If she only knew... ;P )

Petco always has the pet food that I need for my pets. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have dogs and cats.As far as fish go, the Betta fish need oxygen. Sitting in those cups to die a slow death is cruel and selfish. An unnecessary practice since the beginning of being able to sell in this fashion. Please read and educate.I cannot speak for the birds, Chinchillas, mice, and reptiles. I can only hope and pray.So far, the cat adoption practices look thorough. This is a plus.The grooming area appears to be good. I do not have my dogs groomed there, though the dogs that I have seen who leave with their owners appear to be groomed according to their breed.Animal domestication has been in practice for many, many years. The sooner that we realize that respect and education are where everything starts, the better we will 'all' be as conscientiousness rises.

I went there to buy a fresh feeder mouse for my snake, Romeo, and the staff there is so affiant every time. There's no having to wait around, getting in other customers way. I love coming here!!And the cashier does their homework and finds the discounts that I have coming to me without me having to remind them to look and see. I always find my "big smile" when I go to Petco.

Went to but fish today and 3 people working in the area and people waiting for help and nobody was paying attention to the customers, finally had to ask for help and the people at the checkstand were all skaterbrained, someone needs to babysit these people and teach them what customer service is

There are never enough employees on the floor. Alway a long line at the register with one cashier. Today I waited 10+ minutes for someone to get me crickets. Walked around and couldn’t find anyone to help. I ended up having to bag them myself and then other customers started asking me for help!! What a disgrace.

We often go here for durable dog toys and accessories like our car hammock. They don't sell our preferred dog food, but everything else is available. Petting cats on the way in is always lovely.

We brought our dog in to get her nails done since she needed a trim. We decided to splurge and get her a full bath. They tried to upsell us again saying unless we did a more expensive bath her nails wouldn’t get done. We asked for clarification since the description for the bath included nails. They said it was trimmed but wouldn’t be smoothed with the basic bath. We still did the basic bath and then we’re charged an additional “supply fee.” We asked what that was since we hadn’t been told about it before the bath. Turns out they charge you to use shampoo (why is that not included in the bath price?!). After all that, her nails are still so barely trimmed we had to go home and do them ourselves that afternoon. Would not recommend as a grooming option to anyone.

I love when you walk in you can see the precious, adoptable Kittens waiting for their forever homes. I would have taken them all if I could. Clean and organized though some items did not have prices and that is such a dislike for me to have to ask.

It took about 30 minutes for someone to actually come and help me at the fish. Then the person helping was not helpful at all when I asked if there was anything else I would need. Then 1.5 hours later I am checking out and the person checking me out tells me I need to set everything up, run the water for the tank for about a week and then get the fish( which actually was helpful) the checkout lady was actually very helpful and helped me figure what I would and wouldn't need. But it would have been nice to get the info when I was asking and about an hour prior to that.
