Very professional, clean location with a friendly, professional Overall, great job grooming my dog! Thank you!It was the first time I took my dog to be groomed there and I will definitely be back.Called in advance to double check hours and to understand their appointment booking procedure. I was able to book an appointment for later in the afternoon that same. They sent a confirmation text as well as a reminder text. They also called later and said I could come 30 minutes earlier if I could accommodate the time, which I was able to do. I really appreciated that.Brought my dog in about 15 minutes in advance. A nice staff member greeted me and had some time to meet my dog while we talked about what I would normally expect from my prior groomer (I recently moved here so leaving my old groomer was tough because they have been grooming my family pets since 1995 and, due to distance, had to find a new local groomer.)I felt confident that the staff here were going to be professional, caring, and thoughtful when I left after they told me it would be about 30 minutes and to expect a call around then. Even if I had only washed and dried him at home, minus the nails and gland expressing, it would take me more than 30 minutes.After about an hour with no call, I drove back, went in, and was told he would be done in about 10 minutes.He came bouncing back into their lobby happy and VERY clean. He doesn't do well with blow dryers and they mentioned that and his face was still damp and that was perfectly fine with me.They did a great job with him. They were really friendly and took a lot of care getting to know him before and I am sure during his grooming. I feel like I can trust them with my pet. They treat your pet lovingly with care while there. I will definitely be back. Their prices are very reasonable too.Note: there is a small free parking lot behind the building. There is no direct curbside parking along Palm Canyon where they are located. There are a couple of popular businesses next to and along that same stretch of Palm Canyon that share the lot behind them so parking can be a challenge. There is also street parking on the side street available. Their entrance is on Palm Canyon a couple of doors down from the side street.Thank you for doing such a wonderful job with my dog!

We love it here! Our pup is always excited when I tell her we’re going to Poochella! Groomers are very talented, and our fur baby always looks so adorable after her grooming. She hardly lets me brush her, so the Poochella groomers must have a magic touch. We don’t live locally, and are always sure we get an appointment for our girl when we’re in town.

Love Poochella's. Baby Bear got her total grooming done for cheap! Bear can stop back in 3 weeks for a nail clip for cheap also (return visit.) Tiffany, the Receptionist is Awesome! Groomer did a great job! Will be back in 3 weeks. Thanks, L V B.

I’ve been taking my two golden retrievers to Miriam’s for over a year and I am very pleased. The grooming, bathing, to the final touches of putting festive bandanas around their collars is always appreciated. I highly recommend this place.

I am very happy with my experience here. I just moved to the area and was nervous about using a new groomer for my Maltese as I have been with the same one for years. Morgan was so helpful and understanding and asked the right questions. Dare I say this is the cutest our boy has ever looked. I have definitely found my groomer in the desert!

We just moved here from Utah and had a groomer that we loved and used for years. We were nervous about finding a new place here but read really good reviews about this point. We just finished our first appointment and couldn't be more thrilled! They had them both done in an hour (Yorkie and Boston Terrier) and they looked great! The staff is SO friendly and nice too. Prices are great! We are so happy and thrilled to have found a new groomer already! :)

went here to have my schnauzer groomed. I realize that my dog was very matted, but also made sure to tell them that they could shave the dog down, but absolutely imperative that they keep the eyebrows because that is where the features of the dog is most apparent. I was so upset that they shaved the eyebrows and said they were really matted. when I brought the dog in, they were matted, but not enough they could not pull a comb through. I am a barber by trade, I know how to groom a dog (normally cut them myself, just too busy that month with work) and this was a huge dissapointment!DJ

I have used Miriam’s for 2 times after my dog was horribly groomed at a different place. Shawna is so caring and listens to exactly how you would like your dog groomed & takes her time doing an excellent job. Such a wonderful place!!!

This was the first time I brought our dog for grooming services. I called ahead to chat with them about our rescue dog and some of his anxieties. When I arrived, the staff was so friendly and patient with my highly anxious pup. Kay, the assigned groomer, sat in the lobby with our dog to try to help put him at ease. When I picked him up, he looked so good. I was very pleased with his grooming. Our dog was still anxious but they made the whole experience for him as low-key and easy as possible. I'd highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Poochella grooming ROCKS!

We have taken 2 dogs there and been very satisfied both times. Love the fact that they get the dogs in and out quickly. So many shops keep the dogs overly long and it's stressful for our pets. They did a wonderful clip on our Scottish Terrier. My son was visiting and they did a great shampoo and nail job on his Old English Bulldog...got all the wrinkles scrubbed up and delivered a happy dog!

Very good shop. Caring with the dogs. I don't know if anyone is skilled with breed specific cuts, like a standard poodle with the cuffs and all, you'd have to inquire. But, they're careful, pleasant, keep their schedule, call with reminders ahead of appointments, and when the dog is ready. Very nice people & a relatively quiet shop.

Best Groomer in Palm Springs!!! Miriam is very accommodating and loving to my standard poodles. Her salon is spacious, very bright and clean. She takes great pride in her skills and is sensitive to the needs and behaviors of my sweet boys. I am disabled and she and Taylor are very helpful assisting me with my loving companions. I went to Miriam’s with a high recommendation. I have a multi poo. When I picked up my dog I didn’t look at her eyes I just looked at her cut and it looks satisfactory but when I got home and noticed that her right eye would not open up. I called Miriam and said I’m gonna have to take her to the vet if this doesn’t open and I’m going to send you the bill. But by the third day her Eye was opening. Miriam suggested it could’ve been from bathing her. The problem I have is she seem concerned but Right away she knew that it could be from the bath and that’s a concern for anybody that takes her dog there. The cut was good I’m not saying you shouldn’t go there but be aware and tell them to be very careful with washing her bathing your dog
