I called and unfortunately they aren’t grooming cats right now (they do trim cat claws). I’m writing this review because frankly, the lady who took my call was so nice. She gave me good advice about cat calming treats & where to purchase them. Alex’s pet grooming deserves stars for being kind and helpful in spite of my not being a customer. That’s pretty great- no wonder people recommend them.

We love Alex’s! They groom our Lhasa mix and Yorkie mix and they always look great. Our pups are never stressed. Alex and his crew are awesome.

I couldn’t wait to give this review because I am so happy with the result! Momo is our 7mos old poodle and this was his first bigboy haircut, the other place we usually go to kept cancelling our appointments twice now because of some issue on their end, i couldnt do it to momo to wait another week, so when we called them up and said that they could take him, i couldnt be more happier!!! he looks amazing, and smells so good. thank you for taking care of our baby🐾❤️ we will be coming back here for sure and i def recommend that you come visit🐾 ps i shouldve paid so i couldve tipped more we got too excited he looks sooooo goood ❤️❤️❤️thank you so much❤️

My first visit. I spoke at detail about my dogs current health condition. I also wrote it on the “Client Card” I was provided. I also spoke with the booking lady for over 10 minutes about my dogs Heart Disease, and she even HIGHLIGHTED that on the Client Card AND that I DO NOT want any perfumes used on my dog. Or Bows/Bandannas. Etc..I picked up my dog.. He was drenched in awful perfume and had a bandanna on drenched in awful perfume..Ugh.. what a SHAME.. not a huge request in my opinion.. and after all my verbal instructions.. I was completely disregarded..I will never go back..

When I asked around Coachella Valley for the best dog groomer, Alex's shop was the most repeated name from people's lips. He certainly lived up to all the tales of his expertise. He seems to be extremely careful to do exactly as the owner wishes. The staff are very thorough, equally careful and respectful of the pet owners wishes and concerns. My pet's hair came out beautiful, the styling was impeccable. It was her first grooming, so I did sit in there for a good deal of her time in case she was frightened (she wasn't at all). I was able to observe other clients and their pets. Every single person and pet were happy and pleased. Please look at the artwork in this shop, it is gorgeous and all done by the owner. This establishment is an absolute treasure!

We have been bringing our cat, Zoie, to Alex's Pet Grooming for years and his services have been superb. She is pure bred Persian, and tends to get matted very easily. He has never had to shave her as every other groomer has had to do. And, although she hisses and fights with every other groomer, and the veterinarian will only groom her under anesthesia, Alex has a way with her (and other animals I have observed him with) that makes her totally comfortable and peaceful. She returns home refreshed and happy and acts like she just spent the morning at a 5 star spa. His company is highly recommended.

Alex is the BEST!! He and Doug LOVEMY DOGS (well they accept love all the dogs that come there and really treat them well). It's only $5.00 to get your small dogs nails trimmed and you don't have to make an appointment just for that. A small dog shampoo, trim, nail clipping and expression of glands is only $45.00 but you must pay cash. They are open Wednesday thru Saturday 8am till 5pm. Tell them that Robin, Tini and Pearl sent you, LOL. You will be able to recognize the place by the beautiful original acrylic paintings in the shop windows, Alex is a very good artist. Plus if you are hungry you can eat at Sherman's deli. It is right next door.

We were traveling through and our pups needed some salon time. They were even serenaded and Doug and Alex were able to tame our #ohlookitssprite nails, which are always a chore. They were super welcoming, accommodating, and lovingly cared for our furbabies. Would be back in a heart beat. Locals are lucky to have these folks.

Nice shop, but used the Clippers without the plastic safety on it. A No-no for people shaving let alone dogs. Both my dog's had nasty skin burns. One time wasvenuf for me. I shouldn't have to tell a pro how to groom a dog correctly.

Shaved our Shih Tzu instead of doing what was asked. Not even a call beforehand to discuss. If you must take your dog there, make sure to clearly communicate your expectations.

I know this person he over charges and doesn't care for the pets. There was one time that he "showered" a pet with a wet towel. And still charged over $50 for that service. Horrible person DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS PERSON
